OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Solight DT33
Please read the following instructions carefully before connecting this timer to electrical appliances.
WARNING!
For indoor use only.
Do not connect after each other.
To disconnect voltage pull the plug.
IMPORTANT
Don't plug in an appliance where the load exceeds 16 Amp. Always ensure the plug of any appliance is fully inserted into the timer outlet. If cleaning
of the timer is required, remove from mains power and wipe timer with a dry cloth.
DO NOT IMMERSE TIMER IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
Heaters and similar appliances should never be left unattended during operation. The manufacturer recommends such appliances not be connected
to timers.
KEYB0ARD DEFINITION
1. R: Clear all data in memory including current time and all programs.
2. PROG/+: Set current time combined with buttons SET, —; Set programs combined with buttons SET, —; Set CD combined with buttons SET,
—; Press PROG/+ and — buttons simultaneously to enter CLOCK mode under Program setting mode or CD setting mode.
3. SET: Set current time combined with buttons PROG/+, —; Set programs combined with buttons PROG/+, —; Set CD combined with buttons
PROG/+, —;

GENERAL FEATURES

INITIAL OPERATION
1. Plug the timer into a regular 230 Volts power outlet and turn the power on. Leave for approximately 10 minutes to charge the Memory Back -up
battery.
2. Clear all current information by pressing R button with a sharp object such as a pen or pencil after charging.
3. The timer is now ready to be set up for use.
SETTING CURRENT TIME
1. Press PROG/+ button or — button until the CLOCK displays in LCD.
2. Press SET button 2 seconds at least until “MO” for Monday begin to flash, press PROG/+ or —button to select the day of the week.
3. Press SET button again to advance to the hour setting. The “HOUR” will begin to flash, press PROG/+ or — button to select the current hour.
4. Press SET button again to advance to the minute setting. The minutes will begin to flash, press PROG/+ or — button to select the current
minute.
5. Press SET button one more time to complete the setup.
6. To reset current time, repeat above steps.
SETTING PROGRAMS
1. While the timer is at clock display status, press PROG/+ button once to display the first ON setting 1ON --:--.
2. Press SET button once, the “MO” will begin to flash, press PROG/+ or — button to select the day of the week or combination of days for this
program.
3. Press SET button again to advance to the hour setting. The “HOUR” will begin to flash, press PROG/+ or — button to select the ON hour for
this program.
4. Press SET button again to advance to the minute setting. The minute will begin to flash, press PROG/+ or — button to select the ON minute
for this program.
5. Press the SET button one more time to complete the program’s ON setting.
6. Press PROG/+ button again to advance to the first OFF setting 1OFF--:--.
7. Repeat the procedure 2-5 to create the OFF setting.
8. If necessary, repeat steps 1-7 for additional 9 ON/OFF settings
9. Press PROG/+ and — button simultaneously to exit program setting mode and come back CLOCK mode.
Note:

a. To recall any ON/OFF program, you can press MANUAL button in the program setting mode. The display will replace the program with
dashes “--:--”. If you just want to use few ON/OFF programs, please make sure the rest ON/OFF programs shows “--:--”.
b. Check your programs ensure that the settings do not overlap. If program settings are overlapped, the timer ON or OFF will be executed
according to program time, not by program number. Program OFF has the priority over program ON.
c. If you want to activate programs, please make sure the timer must be in AUTO mode, and the RANDOM and CD functions are disabled.
MANUAL ON/AUTO/MANUAL OFF SETTING
Operating modes can’t be changed during program settings.
Press MANUAL button as necessary to display:
“ON”- the plugged in device remain ON.
“OFF”- the plugged in device remain OFF.
“AUTO”- the plugged in device follows your programmed timer settings.
Note: When the mode is turned from ON to AUTO, the timer will keep the setting of ON until the next timer program is executed.
RANDOM FUNCTION
1. Press RND button. LCD displays R(RANDOM). RANDOM function is activated.
2. When RANDOM is activated, the timer will be in On position randomly for 10-31 minutes during the time gap----from 6:00PM to 6:00AM.
3. Press the RND button once again to cancel this function. RANDOM function can’t be set during PROGRAM and CD setting.
4. The RANDOM function can only be executed in AUTO mode between 6:00PM and 6:00AM.
CD(COUNT DOWN) FUNCTION
1. While the timer is at clock display status, press — button to set countdown program. The “CD” sign will be in the display.
2. Press SET button once, either “ON” or “OFF” will begin to flash, press PROG/+ or — button to select countdown ON or OFF mode. If “ON” is
selected, the timer will be on during the countdown period, then it will turn off after the countdown expires, and vice versa.
3. Press SET button again to advance to the hour setting, the “HOUR” will begin to flash, press PROG/+ or — button to select hour for
countdown. (from 0 to 99 hours)
4. Press SET button again to advance to the minute setting. The minute will begin to flash, press PROG/+ or — button to select minute for
countdown. (from 0 to 59 minutes)
5. Press SET button again to advance to the second setting. The second will begin to flash, press PROG/+ or — button to select second for
countdown. (from 0 to 59 seconds)
6. Press the SET button one more time to complete this countdown setting.
7. Press CD button once, this countdown program is activated. (Press CD button once again, this countdown program will stop and recovery this
countdown time what time you set.
8. The CD will flash in the screen when press CD button in clock mode.it means the CD function is executed.
Note: Please make sure the current operation mode is in “AUTO” mode. The RANDOM function is disabled.
12/24 HOUR MODE
Press CD button and SET button simultaneously to turn the time display between 12 and 24 hour mode.
SUMMERTIME FUNCTION
1. Press MANUAL button and SET button simultaneously. LCD shows S (Summer time). Clock advances 1 hour.
2. To revert to winter setting, press the two buttons again. Clock moves backward 1 hour. S disappears in LCD.
Operation Priority (from the highest to the lowest)
Please notice the operation priority when you use the timer:
1. MANUAL ON OR MANUAL OFF ------►2. RANDOM------►3. CD------►4. PROGRAM.
It executes the MANUAL ON OR MANUAL OFF setting first, RANDOM setting second, CD setting third, and PROGRAM setting last when the timer
runs. Please set the right operation mode.
