readable. Following that, frequency can get stepped with repeated brief pressing of stepping
forward or back buttons. Tuning will step up or down by 0,1 MHz on the band with every press
of buttons. After the desired radio station has been tuned, keep holding one of buttons from 1 to
6 to store it. Number of selected storage place will appear on the right edge of the display (1…6).
Stored programmes can be selected by the number keys. Actual FM band and included storage
place is readable on the display. E.g.: F2-P6 means 6. programme on FM 2 band.
• If you do not press any button for 3 seconds, then the radio will return to automatic tuning after
displaying AUTO label – this is default setting.
• Totally 18 FM radio stations can be stored on FM1-FM2-FM3 bands. 6 – 6 stations can be stored in
any case. If you choose 4th storage place of FM2 band, then you have to select FM2 band rst (BAND),
after press the 4. number key..
• If one storage is place is already used, then the content will be deleted, and new station frequency will
be stored.
• If the unit is being used at a distance from the original tuned location – such as when travelling –
the same station might have to be tuned in again on a dierent frequency. The same program is
broadcast on dierent frequencies in dierent geographical locations!
AUTOMATIC TUNING AND STORING
Keep AMS button pressed for 2 seconds for automatic searching and storing of radio stations can be
received at the place of use. Process of tuning and storing can be followed on the display. All receivable
frequency will be controlled.The better the conditions for reception, the more stations will be found.
• Take into consideration that unit will skip stations with weaker reception, and the stations may be
stored in a dierent sequence what you have dened.
• Select manual tuning and storing in order to perform custom settings.
• After brief pressing of AMS, a few minutes long introduction is audible from all programmes of stored
radio station. Introduction function can be switched o by repeated pressing of AMS button or the
pressing the number of selected programme.
• Incaseof thetransmissioncanbe receivedinadequatequality,theSTEREO (doublecircle)symbolwill
be indicated on the display. When the reception is noisy because of weak receiving conditions, choose
the MONO setting with the rotating knob. STEREO indication will go out.
• In case of weak receiving conditions, switch o LOC (local, strong reception) function, with the rotating
knob in the menu and activate DX (long-distance reception) mode. LOC indication will go out.
PLAYBACK FROM USB/SD/ STORAGE
Ifyouwish tolisten to musicfromaUSB/SD sourceinstead of listeningtotheradio,simplyconnect the
external storage.The unit will detect this and start playback automatically. USB or SD denomination
is visible on the display for a few seconds. In case the MP3 le contains text information, than the
unit will display them.
„ID3TAG”MP3TEXT INFORMATION
Beside the elapsed time of track, the number of track, the total number of tracks and name of
including folder, related information of track will be displayed, if they had been recorded, when
the MP3 le was created.
• The display takes place simultaneously with eight characters and automatically alternates. The text
information generally includes the following: the song title, album name, artist name.
• Labels will appear only, when the MP3 le contains such ones. These kind of text information can be
associated with given tracks, while the MP3 le is created. If the le doesn’t have such accompanying
information, or not all displayable data is recorded, then they won’t appear on the display.
• Occasionally, you may nd that certain characters appear incorrectly or not at all. This is mainly
aected on the special or accented characters and not the fault of the device. ID3 Tag function may be
aected by the MP3 le creator programme and its settings. If dierent tracks were created by dierent
compressing programmes and have dierent settings, then displayable text information may dier by
tracks. Unique features of external storage may cause irregular operation, which doesn’t indicate fault!
AVAILABLE FUNCTIONS OF MP3/WMA PLAYER:
: play or pause
: press the buttons briey to reach the previous or next track. If you are keep holding them,
quick search will start in the song, while the speakers are muted.
-10: stepping back x 10 tracks / keep holding: handling folders
+10: stepping forward x10 tracks / keep holding: handling folders
INTRO: introduction of songs; brief playback from the beginning of all tracks
REPEAT: repeating current track continuously
RANDOM: random playback
• Recommended le system of memory is: FAT32. Do not use memory unit with NTFS format!
• If the unitdoes not emitsound or theUSB / SDmemory isnotrecognized, removeandreinsert it.Ifthis
is ineective, try to choose the source with the MODE button. If necessary, turn o and back on and
ultimately push the RESET button on the front panel!
• If the unit cannot recognise the les or one part of them, copied on the external storage, then proceed
as described in the previous paragraph, or you can insert the USB unit to the device which is already
switched on; at that time the system will read in and update the entire content of it.
• Remove the storage only, when you switched to source dierent from USB/SD/TF memory or the
device has switched o! Otherwise the data can get injured.
• It is forbidden to remove the connected external storage during playback!
• By inserting the memory unit, playback will start from the rst track. If you have listened to it
previously, and it hasn’t been removed, then the playback will continue from the last played track,
even if the device has been switched o in the meantime....
• USB and SD unit can be inserted only in one way. If it would get stuck, turn it over and try again, do
not force!
• Pay attention to the storage device, extending from the device not to disturb you in safe driving, and
do not shove or break it! It is recommended to use SD card preferably, since it can be used more safely.
• If you leave the external storage in the vehicle in extreme hot or cold, it can get injured.
• Uniquefeaturesoftheexternalstoragecancauseabnormaloperation,thisisnota malfunctionofthe unit!
USING WIRELESS BT FUNCTIONS
The device can be paired with other equipment which is communicating by BT protocol, withinmaximum
10 meters operation range. After that, music which is played by mobile phone, tablet, notebook and
other similar device is audible amplied through the car speakers. In case of incoming call, it is possible
to answer call, make the call hands-free and end call, without touching the phone. Car radio has built-in
microphone to be used by phone calls. Following extra functions are available:
ringtone is audible through the car speakers/ caller ID announcement in English/ caller
ID displaying/ answering calls / ending calls / redialling last number and displaying
the number/ usage of the car built-in microphone/ BT music playback / controlling the
music player of the mobile phone
Select BT function on car radio with MODE/END CALL button and ashing BT label will appear
on the display. Search for BT devices nearby, including this one, as shown in the instruction
manual of the device to be paired. Connect the two devices to each other. Following that, the
phone conversation or music played on the phone will be audible through the car speakers. After
successful connection BT ON text will be readable on the display and short beep is audible.
Start playing with the music player of mobile phone or other similar device and music is audible
through the car speakers. In case of incoming calls, you can receive calls with BAND / CALL button
of the radio, and you can cancel call with MODE / END CALL button. You can comfortably redial
the last called number with BAND / CALL button.
• One radio can be paired with one BT device at the same time. Actual operation range depends on the
other device and environmental conditions.
• Volume and sound quality of BT connection is aected by the audio settings of connected mobile
phone.
• Occasionally, you may nd that certain characters appear incorrectly or not at all. This is mainly

AUX IN STEREO SOUND INPUT
With the help of a stereo plug with 3,5 mm diameter, you can connect such external device to the AUX
input, located on thefront panel,which hasearphone/audiooutput.You can listen tothis portable device
through the speakers of the car in high sound quality, if you select the AUX operation mode with MODE
button. Connectable devices: e.g.: mobile phone, multimedia player, CD/DVD player, navigation…
• It is important to have proper settings of playback device to achieve high sound quality.
• Purchasing of external adapter may needed to connect such devices which have audio output
dierent from 3,5 mm diameter.
• For further information, check the instruction manual of device to be connected.
CONNECTING EXTERNAL AMPLIFIER
4 x RCA stereo audio output is located on the rear panel of the unit. This allows the connection of
an external amplier or active sub box featuring low level (LINE IN) input.Thus the volume output
and/or sound quality can be upgraded.
REMOTE CONTROLLER FUNCTIONS
In order to use the remote control, please remove the insulating lm extending from the battery
compartment. If operation becomes unstable or the range decreases, please replace the battery
with a new one: CR2025; 3 V button cell.
• When using the remote control, aim it toward the unit’s display from a maximum distance of 2 meters!
• Inordertoreplacethebattery, turntheremotecontrolfacingthebuttonsdownthen pull outthebattery
tray with the battery. Make sure the positive terminal of the inserted battery faces upward. Follow the
directions on the rear side of the remote control!
