can scroll the frequency slowly. After tuning the desired radio station, press and hold one of the
1…6 buttons to store the station. The display shows for a short period of time the current FM
band (F1-F2-F3) and the memory space used inside it (P1…P6). Programs already stored can be
selected using the number buttons.The display shows the current FM band and the storage inside
it. For example F2-P6; on FM2 band the program 6. is selected.
• If you do not press any button for 3 seconds in manual ne tuning mode, then the radio switches
back to automatic tuning after the AUTO subtitle appears – this is the default setting. It tunes
then automatically to the next radio station, then stops.
• Totally 18 FM radio station can be memorized on FM1-FM2-FM3 bands. In every case, 6-6
stations are storable. When storing e.g. you have chosen FM2 band 4. place, select the FM2 band
rst (BAND) and then press the 4. button.
• If a memory location is already occupied, the contents will be deleted and the new transmit
frequently will be stored.
• If you use a unit at a distance greater than the tuning location – e.g. when travelling – you may
have to search for the same radio station again on another frequency. The dierent geographical
areas transmit the same programs on dierent frequencies!
USE OF THE WIRELESS BT FUNCTIONS
The appliance can be paired with another appliance which is communicating by BT protocol. After
that, music which is played by mobile phone, tablet, notebook and other similar device is audible
amplied. In case of incoming call, it is possible to answer it, make it hands-free and end it without
touching the phone.The car radio has a built-in microphone to be used for phone calls. Try to talk in
the direction of it (top right corner), so that your conversational partner can hear you even better.
Make sure the windows are closed during call, as the trip noise signicantly impedes the clarity of
the speech.
The following extra functions are available: the switched o – but previously already paired–
radio switches on and changes into BT mode, if there is an incoming call.The caller’s number is
shown on the display after the CALL message, while the ringtone can be heard through the car
speakers. By handling the car radio, it is possible to reject a call (POWER/MOD (1.)), answer a
call (AMS/BAND (3.)), end a call (POWER/MOD (1.)), start a call to the last called number Press
the AMS/BAND (3.) button for this last.The phone dials the number if the screen is not locked.
During a conversation, the radio measures the conversation time.
ATTENTION! If youkeeppressedtheAMS/BANDbuttonfor2secondsin BTmode,then the messages
BT-ON and BT-OFF refer to the switched on and switched o state of the wireless connection.
CONNECTING: Select the BT mode with the POWER/MODE button. On the display the BT
abbreviation is visible and a small BT symbol is ashing. Search for the nearby BT devices to be
paired, including this car radio in the way it is written in its instruction manual. Connect the two
devices together. After that, you can hear the phone conversation or the music played on the phone
from the car speakers. In case of successful connection, the BT symbol is constantly lighting and
the BT ON message is visible. In case of active mobile device, the message changes to„A2DP”. You
are now ready to receive music played on your phone wirelessly. Set the desired volume on your
phone, too.
• If you hold pressed the rotary knob for two seconds, then you rotate it, you can control the BT
volume between the BT00…BT40 settings. The BT40 setting is recommended.
• To make a call to the last number: in case of double SIM phone, depending on its settings you
may need to conrm the call on your phone. This can be avoided by setting the phone correctly
(depending on the type).
Start playing with the music player of the phone, and the music is audible through the car
speakers. In case of incoming call, you can answer it with the AMS/BAND button of the radio or
decline it with the POWER/MOD button; while the music is paused.
• The music player application launched on the phone can be remotely controlled using the radio
playback and scroll buttons.
• One radio can be paired with one BT device at the same time. Actual operation range depends on
the other device and environmental conditions (approx. 5 m)
• Volume and sound quality of BT connection is aected by the audio settings of connected mobile
phone.
• Occasionally, you may nd that certain characters appear incorrectly or not at all. This is mainly
aected on the special or accented characters and not the fault of the device.
PLAYBACK FROM USB/SD STORAGE
If you wish to listen to music from a USB/SD source instead of listening to the radio, simply
connect the external storage. The unit will detect this and start playback automatically. On the
display the USB or SD denomination is shortly visible, then„F”(Folder) and„T”(Track) the actual
folder, and the number of the song. The time elapsed from the current track can be read during
playback. By pausing the playback with 1/PLAY/PAUSE (13.) button, PAUSE appears. The
available functions of the MP3 player:

(5.) : press the buttons briey to reach the previous or next track. Keep them for quick
search within the song, while the speakers mute.
(17.) -10/D-: scroll 10 soundtracks backward / scroll in the folder system backward
(18.) +10/D+: scroll 10 soundtracks forward / scroll in the folder system forward
(14.) INTRO: song intro; 10 seconds playback from the beginning or every song, cab be switched
o by pressing it again
(15.) REPEAT: one song (ONE), one folder (FOLDER) or repeating every songs (ALL)
(16.) RANDOM: random order playback, can be switched o by pressing it again
• Recommended le system of memory is: FAT32. Do not use memory unit with NTFS format!
• If the unit does not emit sound or the USB/SD memory is not recognized, remove and reinsert the
memory. If this is ineective, try to choose the source with the MODE button. If necessary, turn o
and back on or press the RESET button on the front panel.
• If the unit cannot recognize the les or one part of them, copied on the external storage, then
proceed as described in the previous paragraph, or you can insert the USB/SD unit to the device
whichis already switched on; atthat timethe systemwill read inand updatethe entire content ofit.
• Remove the storage only, when you switched to a source dierent from USB/SD/ memory (e.g.
radio) or the device has switched o! Otherwise the data can get injured.
• It is forbidden to remove the connected external storage during playback!
• By inserting the memory unit, playback will start from the rst track. If you have listened to it
previously, and it hasn’t been removed, then the playback will continue from the last played track,
even if the device has been switched o in the meantime.
• USB and SD unit can be inserted only in one way. If it would get stuck, turn it over and try again,
do not force!
• Pay attention to the storage, extending from the device not to disturb you in safe driving, and do
not shove or break it! It is recommended to use SD card preferably, since it can be used more safely.
• If you leave the external storage in the vehicle in extreme hot or cold, it can get injured.
• Unique features of the external storage can cause abnormal operation, this is not a malfunction of
the unit!
AUX IN STEREO SOUND INPUT
With the help of a stereo plug with 3,5 mm diameter, you can connect such external device to the
AUX socket, located on the front panel, which has earphone/audio output. You can listen to this
portable device through the speakers of the car in high sound quality, if you select with POWER/
MODE button the AUX IN operation mode. Connectable devices with wire: e.g.: mobile phone,
multimedia player, CD/DVD player, navigation…
• It is important to have proper settings of playback device to achieve high sound quality.
• Purchasing of external adapter may needed to connect such devices which have audio output
dierent from 3,5 mm diameter.
• For further information, check the instruction manual of device to be connected.
CONNECTING AN EXTERNAL AMPLIFIER AND AN ACTIVE SUBWOOFER
The 4 x RCA stereo audio output is located on the back of the unit. The white and red RCA sockets are
the outputs of the left and right audio channels. It ensures that you connect an external amplier
or an active subwoofer with a low level input (LINE IN). This way you can improve the volume and
sound quality. Nominations: LF: front left, RF: front right, LR: rear left, RR: rear right sound channels
REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS
In order to install the remote control, please remove the insulating lm extending from the battery
compartment, if the product is equipped with one. If operation becomes unstable or the range
decreases, please replace the battery with a new one: CR 2025; 3 V button cell.
• When using the remote control, aim it toward the unit’s display from a maximum distance of 2
meters!
• In order to replace the battery, turn the remote control facing the buttons down then pull out the
battery traywith the battery. Make sure the positiveterminalof the insertedbattery faces upward.
Follow the directions on the backside of the remote control!
