SONANCE'S NAVIGATOR K2 In-wall keypad makes controlling audio, video and other electronics
throughout the home so easy that any member of the family can use it. The Navigator K2
features an elegant combination of hard keys and an LCD touch screen for intuitive control.
The hard keys provide tactile feedback (power, volume up/down, channel up/down) and have
customizable source & genre buttons for flexible applications, while the LCD touch screen
changes to bring up only the relevant control buttons on the screen for each source selected.
The high contrast, high resolution LCD touch panel provides excellent off-axis and
direct sunlight viewing, making it easy to see what’s on the screen at all times.
What’s more,the Navigator K2 can control virtually anything that is IR-based –
motorized drapes and screens, IR-based security and lighting, and of course
whole house audio systems. And the K2 features a wide-band IR receiver for
use with hand-held remote controls.
Easy to Program:
The Navigator K2 is remarkably easy to program, thanks to the very intuitive and robust PC-based
K2 Program Manager software. The software contains a very extensive IR library so installers can
just drag and drop the devices in each system, then save a custom-configured system to program
multiple Navigator K2 in-wall keypads. The K2 Program Manager software also features a drag
and drop library for bitmap images, further allowing the installer to custom configure the system
to fit each customer’s needs. You can even enter in CD artist and title information
for display on the LCD touch screen. The installer can also utilize the software to
program in and save macros with up to 64 commands and selectable time delays

Easy to Install:
At only 1.83 inches, the Navigator K2 is an attractive solution for almost any wall
thickness, including new construction and European standards. It also has
self-mounting toggle feet for easy in-wall installation. The attractive white bezel
cover (included) mounts and stays there without screws thanks to strong magnets.
Additional colors in Black, Ivory and Almond can be purchased separately to match décor.
Multiple Navigator K2 in-wall keypads may be used in an installation and will automatically
synchronize with each other, thanks to the sync I/O port, making it easy for the user and
installer to see what source is playing on a distributed audio system throughout the house.
The Navigator K2 is the ideal choice for controlling whole house audio/video system.
It also integrates well with the Sonance Navigator Harbor and Sonamp 1230 amplifier.

Sonance Navigator Harbor – the central brains of your system.
The Sonance Navigator Harbor is a high performance multi-zone controller. Designed for use
with the Navigator K2 in-wall keypad, the Navigator Harbor feeds up to six audio/video sources
to six rooms, enabling listeners in the living room to watch a DVD movie while a CD plays in the
kitchen. It can also easily expand to handle up to 30 zones by linking duplicate RCA input jacks.
Individual Navigator K2 in-wall keypads in each room allow for easy selection of the source in
each zone. The Navigator K2 features a local IR flasher output for each zone, allowing for
independent zone/source equipment control, as well as six common IR flasher inputs for
shared source equipment.

No whole house audio/video system would be complete without a high
quality 12-channel amplifier, and Sonance delivers once again. Choose a
Sonamp 1230 (12 x 30 watts/channel) or Sonamp 1250MKII (12 x 50
watts/channel) to complete your system. Both amplifiers
reliably deliver power to each zone of your system.
