ストレーションマニュアルです。
本書は，システム／サービスエンジニアの方々にご使用い
ただくことを想定し，PDBK-MK1 の納入設置時に必要な情
報を記載しています。

PDBK-MK1には，この「インストレーションマニュアル」
の他に，下記のマニュアルが用意されています。

1-3項以降の手順にしたがって，本機を適切に装着および
確認をしてください。

1-3. 設置手順
1. ネジ 8本を外し，リアパネル組立を矢印方向に取り外
す。

2. ネジ 2本を外す。
3. 図に示すようにマイナスドライバー（小）2 本の先端
を切り欠き部に挿入し，矢印方向に回転させて
VPR-15 基板を引き出す。
4. VPR-15 基板を矢印 方向に取り外す。

5. ネジ 2本を外す。
6. 図に示すようにマイナスドライバー（小）2 本の先端
を切り欠き部に挿入し，矢印方向に回転させて
NET-5 基板を引き出す。
7. NET-5 基板を矢印 方向に取り外す。

8. 本体を裏返してネジ 6本を外し，ボトムパネル組立を
取り外す。

 ボトムパネル組立を外す際は，EM-8 基板にマウント
されている IC の破損に注意してください。

9. VPR-15 基板に TSI-60A 基板（PDBK-202）が装着され
ている場合は，ネジ 4 本を外して TSI-60A 基板を取り
外す。

10.VPR-15 基板のナイロンリベット 1 個を取り外し，付
属のハーネスクランプを取り付ける。
11.付属の同軸ケーブルをVPR-15基板のコネクター
CN202,CN203,CN204 に接続し，ハーネスクランプ
に通す。

12. NET-5 基板のナイロンリベット 1 個を取り外し，付属
のハーネスクランプを取り付ける。
13. 付属のハーネス(IF-DPR)を IF-1101 基板のコネクター
CN2 に接続し，ハーネスクランプに通す。

14. 手順 9 で TSI-60A 基板を取り外した場合は，逆の手順
で取り付ける。
 TSI-60A 基板非装着の場合には，付属のネジ 4 本でハー
ネスカバーを取り付ける。

15.同軸ケーブルを図に示す位置から引き出しながら，
VPR-15 基板をスロットに挿入する。
16. VPR-15 基板のコネクターが，MB-1138 基板のコネク
ターに確実に接続するまでスロットに押し込み，ネジ
2 本で締め付ける。

17. ハーネス (IF-DPR) を図に示す位置から引き出しながら，
NET-5 基板をスロットに挿入する。
18. NET-5 基板のコネクターが，MB-1138 基板のコネク
ターに確実に接続するまでスロットに押し込み，ネジ
2 本で締め付ける。

19. DPR-321 基板(MK1 組立 ) のコネクター CN3400 を
HRP-31 基板のコネクター CN100 に接続する。
20. ネジ 8 本で DPR-321 基板(MK1 組立 )を取り付ける。

. 図に示すネジを最初に取り付けてください。
. DPR-321 基板上には，端子（オンボードコンタクト）
8 個がマウントされています。取り扱いに注意して
ください。

21. VPR-15 基板に接続した同軸ケーブルと NET-5 基板に
接続したハーネスを DPR-321 基板のコネクターに接続
し，図のように引き回す。

23. PDW-HR1 のボトムパネル組立からネジ 2 本を外し，
スロットカバーを取り外す。

24. PDW-HR1 にボトムパネル組立を取り付ける。

25.付属のネジ 2 本でスロットカバー SUB 組立を取り付け
る。

押し当ててからネジを締めてください。

確認手順
1. [HOME] ボタンと[SHIFT] ボタンを押しながら，
[MENU] ボタンを押す。
 メンテナンスメニューが表示される。

2. [PUSH|SET] つまみを回して M2:SERVICESUPPORT
を選択し，[PUSH|SET] つまみを押す。
3. [PUSH|SET] つまみを回して M22:OPTIONSTATUS
を選択し，[PUSH|SET] つまみを押す。
4. PDBK-MK1 に“ena”と表示されていることを確認する。

Purpose of this manual
This manual is the installation manual of the SxS Memory
Card Adaptor PDBK-MK1.
This manual is intended for use by trained system and
service engineers, and describes the information on install-
ing the PDBK-MK1.
Related manual
Besides this Installation Manual, the following manual is
prepared for PDBK-MK1.

This manual described the detailed maintenance informa-
tion and repair information required for parts-level
service.

Installation of PDBK-MK1
Install the PDBK-MK1 according to the installation proce-
dure described in Section 1-3. Upon completion of installa-
tion, check that the PDBK-MK1 is properly installed
according to the check procedure described in Section 1-4.

1-3. Installation Procedure
1. Remove the eight screws and remove the rear panel
assembly in the arrow direction.

2. Remove the two screws.
3. Insert the ends of two at-blade screwdrivers (small)
into the cutout portions as shown in the gure, and turn
them in the arrow Adirection to draw out the VPR-15
board.
4. Remove the VPR-15 board in the arrow Bdirection.

5. Remove the two screws.
6. Insert the ends of two at-blade screwdrivers (small)
into the cutout portions as shown in the gure, and turn
them in the arrow Adirection to draw out the NET-5
board.
7. Remove the NET-5 board in the arrow Bdirection.

8. Turn the unit upside down, remove the six screws, and
then remove the bottom panel assembly.
 n
After the bottom panel assembly is removed, be care-
ful not to damage the IC on the EM-8 board.

9. When the TSI-60A board (PDBK-202) is mounted on
the VPR-15 board, remove the four screws and remove
the TSI-60A board.

10. Remove the nylon rivet from the VPR-15 board, and
install the supplied harness clamp instead.
11. Connect the supplied coaxial cable to the connectors
CN202, CN203, and CN204 on the VPR-15 board, and
then pass the coaxial cable through the harness clamp.

Pass the coaxial cable between
the support and the connector.
12. Remove the nylon rivet from the NET-5 board, and
install the supplied harness clamp instead.
13. Connect the supplied harness (IF-DPR) to the connec-
tor CN2 on the IF-1101 board, and then pass the
harness through the harness clamp.

14. When the TSI-60A board was removed in step 9,
install it by reversing the steps of removal.
When the TSI-60A board is not mounted, attach the
harness cover with the supplied four screws.

15. While pulling out the coaxial cable from the location
shown in the gure, insert the VPR-15 board into the
slot.
16. Push the VPR-15 board into the slot until its connec-
tors are rmly connected to the MB-1138 board con-
nectors, and then secure the VPR-15 board with two
screws.

17. While pulling out the harness (IF-DPR) from the
location shown in the gure, insert the NET-5 board
into the slot.
18. Push the NET-5 board into the slot until its connectors
are rmly connected to the MB-1138 board connectors,
and then secure the NET-5 board with two screws.

19. Connect the connector CN3400 on the DPR-321 board
(MK1 assembly) to the connector CN100 on the
HRP-31 board.
20. Install the DPR-321 board (MK1 assembly) with eight
screws.

. First install the screw shown in the gure.
. Eight terminals (onboard contact) are mounted on
the DPR-321 board. Handle the DPR-321 board
carefully.

21. Connect the coaxial cable (connected to the VPR-15
board) and the harness (connected to the NET-5 board)
to the connectors on the DPR-321 board, and arrange
them as shown in the gure.

22. Push the redundant portions of the harness and the
coaxial cable into inside the chassis, and attach the
cable cover.

23. Remove the two screws from the bottom panel assem-
bly of the PDW-HR1 to detach the slot cover.

24. Install the bottom panel assembly to the PDW-HR1.
(Refer to step 8.)
25. Install the slot cover sub assembly with the supplied
two screws.

Push the slot cover sub assembly against portion A of
the bottom panel assembly and tighten screws.

26. Install the rear panel assembly to the PDW-HR1.
(Refer to step 1.)

1. While press the [HOME] button and the [SHIFT]
button simultaneously, press the [MENU] button.
The MAINTENANCE MENU is displayed.

2. Rotate the [PUSH|SET] knob to select M2: SERVICE
SUPPORT, and press the [PUSH|SET] knob.
3. Rotate the [PUSH|SET] knob to select M22: OPTION
STATUS, and press the [PUSH|SET] knob.
4. Conrm that “ena” is displayed in the place corre-
sponding to PDBK-MK1.
