Apri 2007 - For the first time with a Walkman you can experience stunning
quality video footage along side crystal clear audio with the new Video MP3
W LKM N from Sony. This sexy slim-lined Walkman offers an unparalleled visual
and audio experience without compromising on screen size.
The NW 800 series Video MP3 Walkman is small enough to slip into any bag or
pocket, with a colour-rich 2.0” QVG (320 x 240 pixels) colour TFT LCD screen
that offers unbeatable clarity, high contrast and supreme colour reproduction.
Video footage can be viewed on the screen both horizontally and vertically to
further enhance the entertainment experience. Downloading video content is easy
with a simple drag and drop mechanism - video playback supports the widely
used MPEG-4 and high quality codec of VC (H.264/ VC) Baseline profile formats,
at up to 30 frames per second. File conversion, if needed, can be achieved via the
supplied ImageConverter software.

has long been associated with the highest quality in audio playback and this Video
Walkman continues to uphold this standard by adding the newly developed DSEE
technology which restores the high frequency ranges lost due to compression.
The NW 800 has three in-built Clear udio Technologies – Clear Stereo, Clear
Bass and Sony unique Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE). These audio
technologies are further enhanced with the supplied 13.5 mm EX headphones.

Don’t you love your battery dying half way through a great track, or while you’re
out jogging, or shopping? The NW 800 Video Walkman has a lithium-ion
rechargeable battery for extended battery stamina allowing up to 30 hours*
continuous music playback or 8 hours** continuous video playback. The easy to
operate Video Walkman also incorporates a slick menu selection system, allowing
fast navigation while on the move. Search for your favourite tunes by artist,
album title or song title quickly and intuitively or use the intelligent shuffle to
create bespoke play lists. Other features include jpeg image
storage/viewing/slideshow functions to showcase your best snapshots as well as a
host of music sound effects (heavy, pop, jazz, unique and custom settings) to
choose from.
The Video MP3 Walkman is compatible with SonicStage CP software allowing
music management and transfer of your favourite tracks. When you connect the
NW 800 to a PC, the Walkman Launcher automatically opens a selection of
applications providing easy management your movies, photos, music and
download options.
The NW 800 Video Walkman is available in three memory sizes; 2GB, 4GB and
8GB and there are four colour options; black, white, violet and pink. range of
stylish cases are available for when you are on the move, such as the clear
polycarbonate CKHNW 800 which works to protect the Walkman and its wide
screen against scratches, damage and dust whilst providing easy access to
control buttons, WM-PORT, strap-hole and headphone jack.
What’s more the Video Walkman is complemented by a range of accessories
ensuring consumers are able to release their music from their Walkman wherever
they are. car connecting cable (DCCNWC1) plugs directly in the cigarette lighter
to charge the NW 800 while on the go and has a stereo mini jack for music play
back directly through the car radio (via optional FM transmitter or UX cable). In
the home the BCRNW 800 Stand provides automatic PC data synchronization and
a charging solution (through the PC). n 2DP Stereo Bluetooth transmitter
(WL NWB1) provides a wireless music solution for those with Stereo Bluetooth
enabled udio devices such as headphones (DRBT20NX, DRBT21G), portable
speakers (SRSBTM30) or in car entertainment (MEXBT5000, MEXBT2500).
