CP-A2L/CP-A2LS
is
a packaged product consisting
of
an
AC input module
and
a
USB
output module (Built-in Li-
ion rechargeable batteiy).
In
order to supplypower
to
the
portable device, a
USB
charging cable
is
required (not
supplied). Please check theportable device for specific
pin connection.

To
charge
the
USB
output
module
using
the
AC
input
module
1.
Attach
the
AC
Input
module
to
the
USB
output
module
firmly (until it clicks).
* Be sure
to
correctly orient
the
joining
terminals
to
avoid breakage.
2. Unfold
the
plug
of
the
AC
input
module,
and
plug
it
into
a wall
outlet,
holding
the
AC
input
module.
The
remaining
battery capacity indicators
turn
on
and
the AC input module starts charging. TheAC
input indicator lights
up
while charging.
* Refer to "Troubleshooting"
if
theAC input
indicator
turns
off
a few minutes later,
or
does
not
turnon.
3. Hold
and
unplug
the
AC
input
module
after
the
AC
input
indicator
turns
off.
To
checkremaining
battery
capacity
1. Press
the
button
on
the
USB
output
module.
You
can check the remaining battery capacity
by
the
number
of
remaining batterycapacity indicators.

The
USB
output module

supply
power

a
portable
deviceusing
the
USB
output
module
Be
sure
to
unplug the AC input module from the wall
outletbefore connecting the
USB
output module to a
portable device.
1.
Connect
a
USB
charging
cable
(officially
supported
by
the
portable
device)
to
the
portable
device.
2.
Connect
the
other
end
of
the
cable
to
the
USB
output
port
of
the
USB
output
module.
3. Press
the
button
on
the
USB
output
module.
The
USB
output indicator turns on.
* Power supplystops automatically when the
portable device
is
fully charged.
If
you want to stop
the power supply, disconnect the
USB
charging
cable, or press the button
on
the
USB
output
module.
If
you press the button whenboth
USB
output ports are in use,
both
ports will stop
supplying power.
* For some devices, the
USB
output indicator will
not
turn
off
and
power supply will continueeven if
fully charged. In this case, press thebutton
to
stop
supplying power.
Notes
• The
USB
output
port
of
this product is a power supply
only. Do not connect to the
USB
ports
of
computers,
etc. Doing so maycause a malfunction.
•
USB
poweroutput
of
this product
is
max. 1 A (total
of
two
USB
outputports). The power safety feature will
stop power supply
if
the total output exceeds 1

Troubleshooting
The
remaining
battery
capacity
indicator
does
not
turnon.
The
usage
environment
is
out
of
operating
temperature
range.

There
is a
bad
connection
with
the
plug.

Clean theplug with a
dry
cloth.

Connect it to anotherwall outlet.
The
AC
input
module
is
not
attached
to
the
USB
output
module
firmly.

Attach the AC input module to the
USB
output
module firmly (until it clicks).
The
AC
input
indicator
flashes
quickly.
The
AC
input
module
or
USB
output
module
is
malfunctioning.

Stop use. Contact your Sony dealer or authorized
Sonyservice facility.

(charging
takes
less
