adjusts to the effort you put in, giving you a power delivery so smooth, you might just forget it’s electric,

(IGH) keeps the gears housed and sealed inside the rear hub, protecting them even at the most packed

can use the Mission Control app to adjust how your bike draws from both batteries, then input your trip
information so the bike manages everything to get you home with plenty of power.

All Como SL models are available in frame sizes S, M and L. These are the size recommendations for Como SL bikes. Note that this is a

• Create a true unisex frame design, with inclusive, yet dynamic styling
• Have fully integrated cable routing for clean and modern aesthetics – and also to avoid dangling or
rattling cables that can get caught when parking or storing the bike
• Offer smart integrated features such as custom rack solutions, a stealth display mount, an integrated
carry handle and an integrated dropout system
• Custom integrated rack design with a proprietary basket that allows easy access
FRAME AND FORK REQUIRED SOPHISTICATED ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING
• One-piece cockpit with internal cable routing, including a hydro formed top, together with a forged/cnc-machined
bottom with cable ports (this is a complex design and was an engineering challenge that required a lot of testing)
• Head tube construction: rolled manufacturing to realize the unique design idea
• One-piece fork as seamless construction from the steerer tube to the fork blades, complemented by welded dropouts;

• The below table serves as a general guideline if the default gear ratio is meant to be changed (no guarantee on compatibility)
• General limitations for different chainring/sprocket sizes: frame, fender adjustment range, chain/belt cover, spider, availability of options
• In some cases, the rear fender must be positioned differently to match the changed position of the rear wheel;
this requires using different fender spacers
• Changing the chainring or sprocket size may require adapting chain length or installing the matching chain or belt length
(use the Gates calculator)

Q-FACTOR
• Q factor is wider than on regular bikes because of bearing
and sealing design in motor (super high IP 67 standard)
• This is not an issue per se, depends on the rider’s anatomy,

LIGHTS
PERMANENT LIGHTS FOR ENHANCED SAFETY
The lights are always on when the bike is turned on so that riders can see and are seen
at all times. Since the lights consume little power, this does not negatively affect range.
TURNING OFF THE LIGHTS WHILE CHARGING
After initiating charging, the lights power up, but they can be turned off by powering
the bike off via the TCU - charging continues, but the lights and the TCU stay off.
Powering off the lights while charging is recommended.

These are just a few visual examples for alternative containers that
can be mounted onto the front rack base plate.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Lock must be wide enough to clear fender/tire; fender width: 65 mm
• Lock mount tabs must be adequately spaced
• Seat stay tab distance for frame locks (center-center): 92 mm
• Ensure there is enough clearance between lock mechanism and crank (see image below);
use adjustment range of lock to move it as far to one side for max. clearance
Tip for many Abus locks: combine them with the matching adaptor chain that connects to the frame
lock; allows to secure the bike to a pole, fence etc.

TRAILER MOUNTING
IMPORTANT:
Mounting and pulling a trailer is on Rider`s risk and any warranty claims for damage induced by trailer use is not covered.
Please refer to the addendum Riding With Kids for more information.
Technically, a trailer can be mounted. In order to mount a trailer hitch, a matching adaptor is required.
• Adaptor replaces the left hub axle nut
• Ensure to choose the correct adaptor for the hitch/trailer

TURBO SL TECHNOLOGY
BASIC THEORY OF OPERATION
THREE COMPONENTS ARE PART OF THE CAN BIKE SYSTEM COMMUNICATION (COMPONENTS ‘TALK’ TO EACH OTHER):
1. TCU (can be seen as the master of the bike, also allowing external communication)
2. Motor
3. Batteries (Internal and/or Range Extender)
• The speed sensor and the remote (select Turbo families/models only) act as switches and
are not part of the bike communication as such
THIS HAPPENS WHEN TCU IS SWITCHED ON:
• Switch in TCU closes wakeline
• Wakeline activates battery (wakeline goes from TCU to battery)
• Battery sends 48V to motor and 12V to TCU (12V come directly from battery)
• TCU starts, LEDs light up (even if motor is not connected)
• SL system is active

• If an SL bike does not turn on, most likely the internal battery cannot supply its 12V – then a RE battery can be used to check
if it really is the internal battery or the connection main harness-battery inside the frame – this is one example how to use
