800012 RH/Temperature Pen simultaneously displays
RH and temperature in °C or °F. Will also show a
continually updated ∆ delta (di󰀨erence) from a starting
point. The pen stands upright on its base, enabling
unobstructed airow around the sensor, and recalls high
and low readings.

MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE
1. Press the P/Δ button for 3 seconds to turn the
meter on or o󰀨.
2. The meter will turn o󰀨 automatically after 10 minutes
of inactivity.
3. To view the Δ (di󰀨erence) measurement, press the
P/Δ button for 0.5 second. The unit will start at zero
and then display the Δ reading.
4. Press the P/Δ button for 0.5 second to return to
Normal Mode.
Minimum/Maximum Modes
1. To change mode, press the MIN/MAX button for 0.5
second to cycle through Max, Min and Normal Modes.
2. In Min & Max Modes only, press the P/Δ button to
reset memory.
3. Wait 10 seconds and the unit will automatically return
to Normal Mode.
4. The Max/Min data will be reset when the unit is turned o󰀨.
Changing Temperature Scale
1. To switch the display between °C &°F, use a pointed
tool (such as a disassembled paper clip) to poke
straight (perpendicular to the unit, not at an angle) into
the small hole located on the back of the unit.
2. Press in (you will feel a button push down inside the
unit) until the LCD display switches the °C/°F display.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
1. Turn the unit o󰀨 by pressing the P/Δ button for
3 seconds.
2. Twist o󰀨 the battery cover and replace with one AAA
1.5V battery ensuring correct polarity.

materials and workmanship for period of ve (5) years
from the date of purchase and agrees to repair or replace
any defective unit without charge. If your model has since
been discontinued, an equivalent Sper Scientic product
will be substituted, if available. This warranty does not
cover probes, batteries, battery leakage, or damage
resulting from accident, tampering, misuse, or abuse of
the product. Opening the meter to expose its electronics
will void the warranty.
