ANLEGEN DER MALLEODYN®S3
FITTING THE MALLEODYN®S3
WICHTIGE HINWEISE
Verwenden Sie die MALLEODYN®S3 unmittelbar nach der Verletzung bzw. in der Akutphase im
vollaufgerüstetem Zustand plus Kühlpad. Die Orthese sollte immer über einem Strumpf getragen
werden.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Use the MALLEODYN®S3 immediately after injury or during the acute phase in its fully assembled
state plus the cooling pad. The orthosis should always be worn over a sock.
SCHRITT 1
Öffnen Sie den 8er-Zügel an den hinteren beiden Klet-
tenden sowie die orangefarbenen Klickverschlüsse am
Unterschenkel- und Fußteil.
STEP 1
Open the figure 8 strap at the two rear Velcro ends and
the orange-coloured click fasteners on the lower ankle
and foot part.

SCHRITT 2
Stellen Sie Ihren Fuß, mit einem 90° Winkel, in die
geöffnete Orthese. Positionieren Sie Ihren Fuß so, dass
der Außenknöchel mittig in der Aussparung der Seiten-
schiene liegt.
STEP 2
Place your foot at a 90° angle in the open orthosis. Po-
sition your foot so that the outer ankle lies centrally in
the cut-out of the side splint.
SCHRITT 3
Positionieren Sie das beiliegende Kühlpad von innen
zwischen Strumpf und MALLEODYN®S3. Die Position
ist entsprechend Ihrer Verletzung variabel.
STEP 3
Position the included cooling pad from the inside bet-
ween the sock and the MALLEODYN®S3. The position
can be varied, depending on your injury.

ANWENDUNG DES KÜHLPADS
• Positionieren Sie das Kühlpad, mit der Textilseite zur
Haut, beliebig innerhalb der Orthese zwischen Strumpf
und Orthese. Wir empfehlen ein intermittierendes
kühlen in der Akutphase. Lagern Sie das Kühlpad zum
Kühlen ausschließlich im Kühlschrank, nicht im Ge-
frierschrank.
• Bitte stimmen Sie sich zur Anwendung des Kühlpads
mit Ihrem behandelnden Arzt ab.
USING THE COOLING PAD
• Position the cooling pad, with the textile side facing
the skin, anywhere within the orthosis between the
sock and the orthosis. We recommend intermittent
cooling during the acute phase. To cool it, place the
cooling pad only in the refrigerator, not in the freezer.
• Please consult with the doctor in charge of your care
for advice on how to use the cooling pad.

SCHRITT 4
Klicken Sie den orangenen Fußverschluss auf der
Fußinnenseite ein und spannen Sie den Gurt mit dem
Klettverschluss nach.
STEP 4
Click in the orange foot closure on the inside of the
foot and tighten the strap with the Velcro fastener.
SCHRITT 5
Schließen Sie den Klickverschluss am Unterschenkel,
indem Sie die orangene Einstecknase in die Kunststoff-
schale einstecken, ihn dann nach hinten klappen und
klicken Sie den Druckknopf in die Kunststoffschale ein.
Regulieren Sie bei Bedarf die Spannung des Unter-
schenkelgurtes an oberem Klettverschluss.
STEP 5
Close the click closure on the lower ankle by inserting
the orange tab into the plastic shell, folding it back-
wards and then click the push-button into the plastic
shell. If necessary, adjust the tension of the
lower ankle strap using the upper
Velcro fastener.

SCHRITT 6
Schließen Sie den 8er-Zügel, indem Sie ihn über dem
Fußrücken kreuzen und nach hinten in Richtung Wade
führen, wo Sie ihn mit den Klettenden befestigen.
STEP 6
Close the figure 8 strap by crossing them over the back
of the foot and pulling them upwards towards the calf,
where you can secure them in place using the Velcro
ends.

SCHRITT 1
Entfernen Sie das Kühlpad der vollaufgerüsteten
Orthese.
STEP 1
Remove the cooling pad from the fully assembled
brace.

SCHRITT 2
Entfernen Sie Seitenschiene mit einem Klick. Drücken
Sie dazu auf den orangen äußeren Streifen und ziehen
Sie die Schiene nach oben heraus
STEP 2
Remove the side splint with a click. To do this, press on
the orange outer strip and pull the splint upwards and
out.

SCHRITT 3
Entfernen Sie den unten am vorderen Rand positio-
nierten 8er-Zügel durch Lösen der
Klettverbindung.
STEP 3
Remove the figure 8 strap attached at the front edge
by loosening the Velcro fastening.
TIPP
Die abgerüstete seitliche Verstärkungsschiene sowie
den abgerüsteten 8er-Zügel können Sie im mitge-
lieferten Wäschesack aufbewahren, sofern sie diese
wieder einsetzen möchten.
ADVICE
The lateral reinforcement splint and the figure 8
strap, once removed, can be stored in the wash bag
supplied if you wish to reuse them.
