mouse read this instruction manual to prevent any damage.
Put it away in a safe place for future references.
IMPORTANT
Never aim the laser beam directly to the eyes.
Clean only with a soft, dry cloth.
Do not try to open this device, may cause malfunction and war-
ranty repeal.
Do not use or store the presenter near wet places.
Check the batteries regularly.
When the presenter will not to be used for a long time, remove
the batteries.

BATTERY INSTALLATION
Your new device is powered by two AAA batteries.
Please, insert the batteries before to use the presenter.
To place the batteries, remove the cover and insert 2 new
batteries, pay attention to polarity.
Then replace the battery cover.
If you see that the operating range is becoming weak, you must
replace the battery.
INSTALLING THE DEVICE IN WINDOWS XP
Make sure to install new batteries before to start to use it.
1.- Plug the receiver into an available USB port in the computer.
2.- The computer will detects the new hardware and
automatically will update the system. After this process, you can
start to use the presenter.
If you use Windows 98 you must have to use its Installation
CD in order to finish the process.
HOW TO USE THE PRESENTER WITH
POWERPOINT
Use the presenter with your Power Point presentations.
1.- Open a PowerPoint presentation.
2.- Press Play to visualize the presentation in full screen.
3. Use Page Up / Page Down buttons to change the slide.
4.- If you want to mark a specific point in the screen, press
the Pointer button, and the laser beam will be displayed in the
screen.
5.- If you want to put a blank page during a presentation, press
Blank Page button; to back to normal mode, press the Blank
page once again.

6.- Unplug the receiver from the computer, after their use.
HOW TO USE THE MOUSE
This device can be used as a wireless mouse, includes
forward, backward buttons, and the left and right buttons such as
a mouse, even you can control and move the pointer through the
screen.
1.- Plug the receiver into an available USB port.
2.- Use the Movement arrows to move the pointer.
3.- Use L and R buttons to open menus or select options. This
buttons have the same functions as a mouse.
4.- If you want to jump into pages, press the Page Up / Page
down buttons.
ALARM / CLOCK SET
1.- Press and hold Setting button for 3 seconds. The alarm icon
blinks in the screen.
2.- Press Pointer button, the first number will blinks.
3.- Use the Movement arrows (Up and Down) to change the
blinking number.
4.- The first 2 numbers configure the Hours, and the last 2
numbers configure the minutes.
5.- Using the Movement arrows, move to the left or right to
change to next position.
6.- Once you have configured the alarm, press Pointer button to
store the changes in memory.
7.- Now, repeat the steps 3 to 6 to configure the current time.
8.- Remember to press Pointer button to store the changes.
Press R button to turn the alarm off.
If you want to configure the current time without set an
alarm, follow these simple steps: when the icon of the alarm
blinks, move to the right the Movement arrow, automatically
you’ll enter to the Clock set. Then follow the instructions to
update the time.
If you don’t want to edit the alarm or the time, move the
Movement Arrow to the right, twice.
The time is in 24 system (5pm=17hrs), if you want to enter a
time higher than 24 hours, the system will reject it
automatically.

FIXED TIMING ALARM
Use this function to activate alarms with a predetermined
intervals of time.
This device includes 5 different intervals of time, in the screen
you will see the numbers from 1 to 5, which correspond to some
periods of time:
1: 3 minutes
2: 5 minutes
3: 10 minutes
4: 20 minutes
5: 30 minutes
For example, if you configure the alarm at 11pm and choose the
numbers 1, 3 and 5, the alarm will be activated at 11pm, then will
turn off, and will be activated once again at 11:03 (number 1),
11:10 (number 3) and 11:20 (number 5).
1.- Press and hold R button for 3 seconds, in the screen will
display an icon and the numbers from 1 to 5.
2.- Press the Pointer button to choose a blink number or use
the Movement Arrow to select a number first and the press the
Pointer once to store the interval of time in memory.
3.- To leave this mode, move to the right the Movement Arrow
button until the number 5 disappears.
5. If you chose a number, it will be displayed in the screen and
indicates the time when the alarm will be activated.
The setting alarm is based on the time when the user set
this parameter.
If you don’t want to set this option, use the Movement Arrow
button until the number 5 disappears.
This function will be deactivated if you use the chronometer.
CHRONOMETER
1.- Press and hold the S and Pointer buttons. The icon of the
chronometer and the counter will be displayed in the screen.
2.- Press the Pointer to begin the count.
3.- To stop it, press the Pointer once again.
4.- If you want to store the registered time in memory, move to
the right the Movement Arrow control once, the number 2 blinks

5.- Repeat step 4 if you want to store up to 5 different intervals of
time.
6.- After stored the 5 memories, use the Movement Arrow control
(left/right) to see the recorded times.
7.- If you want to leave this mode, press S.
If you use the chronometer, the settings stored in the fixing
time alarm will be deleted.

Antes de utilizar su nuevo Apuntador Láser, lea este
instructivo para evitar cualquier mal funcionamiento.
Guárdelo para futuras referencias.
IMPORTANTE
Nunca apunte el rayo láser directamente a los ojos.
Siempre utilice un paño suave, limpio y seco para limpiar el
equipo.
No intente abrir el equipo, puede ocasionar malfuncionamiento y
anulación de la garantía.
No use ni almacene este equipo en lugares donde existan
goteras o salpicaduras de agua.
Revise las baterías periódicamente.
Cuando no vaya a utilizar el equipo por un período de tiempo
prolongado retire las baterías.

INSTALACIÓN DE BATERÍA
Su nuevo apuntador y ratón funciona con dos baterías AAA.
Asegúrese de que antes de comenzar a utilizar el equipo, haya
instalado dos baterías nuevas. Simplemente retire la tapa del
compartimiento e inserte las baterías nuevas, poniendo atención
a la polaridad.
Posteriormente coloque nuevamente la tapa sobre la batería.
Si nota que la distancia de uso se ha reducido con el tiempo,
será necesario que cambie las baterías.
INSTALACIÓN DEL APUNTADOR EN WINDOWS
XP
Asegúrese de que previamente ha instalado dos baterías AAA
en el equipo.
1.- Inserte el receptor en un puerto USB disponible de la
computadora.
2.- La computadora detecta un nuevo hardware y realiza las
actualizaciones necesarias de forma automática. Una vez que
haya terminado el proceso podrá comenzar a utilizar el
apuntador.
En caso de utilizar Windows 98 será necesario que utilice el
disco de drivers de Windows para concluir con el proceso
de instalación.
USO DEL APUNTADOR EN POWERPOINT
Una vez que instaló el receptor correctamente, podrá comenzar
a utilizarlo con presentaciones de Power Point.
1.- Abra una presentación de Power Point.

2.- Presione el botón de Reproducción para visualizar la
presentación a pantalla completa.
3.- Utilice los botones de arriba / abajo para adelantar o regresar
la pantalla.
4.- Si desea señalar algún punto en especial de la pantalla, pre-
sione el botón de Apuntador, un haz de color rojo aparecerá.
5.- Si requiere poner una página en blanco durante la reproduc-
ción, presione el botón Página en Blanco; para regresar al modo
normal, vuelva a presionar el botón.
6.- Cuando ya no requiera utilizar el dispositivo, desconecte el
receptor de la computadora.
USO DEL MOUSE
Este dispositivo también puede ser utilizado como un ratón ina-
lámbrico, cuenta con botones para adelantar o regresar páginas,
los botones derecho e izquierdo con las mismas funciones que
el ratón, así como un control para mover el cursor a través de la
pantalla.
1.- Conecte el receptor en un puerto USB de la computadora.
2.- Mueva el botón de Movimiento para mover el cursor en la
pantalla.
3.- Utilice los botones L y R para abrir menús o seleccionar op-
ciones. Estos botones tienen la misma función que en un ratón.
4.- Si desea avanzar páginas, presione los botones de Página
Arriba / Página Abajo
AJUSTE DE LA ALARMA Y EL RELOJ
1.- Presione el botón de Ajustes por 3 segundos. El ícono de
alarma comenzará a parpadear.
2.- Presione el botón del apuntador, en la pantalla comenzará a
parpadear el primer número.
3.- Utilice el botón de control de movimiento, y muévalo hacia
arriba o abajo para cambiar el número que parpadea.
4.- Los primeros dos números corresponden a la hora y los 2
últimos a los minutos.
5. Vuelva a utilizar el botón de control de movimiento, y muévalo
hacia la derecha o la izquierda para cambiar a la siguiente
posición.
6.- Una vez que ha configurado la hora de la alarma, presione el
botón del apuntador para guardar los cambios en memoria.

7.- En pantalla verá que los números comenzarán a parpadear,
presione una vez más el botón del apuntador y repita los pasos
3 al 6 para configurar la hora actual.
8.- Recuerde presionar el botón del apuntador para guardar los
cambios.
Cuando la alarma se active, presione el botón R para
apagarla.
Puede configurar la hora del reloj sin necesidad de
seleccionar una hora de alarma; cuando el ícono de la
alarma comience a parpadear, mueva el botón de Control de
Movimiento hacia la derecha, de esta forma entrará al modo
de Reloj.
Si no desea modificar la alarma ni el reloj, mueva el botón
de Control de Movimiento hacia la derecha dos veces.
La hora se encuentra en sistema de 24 horas (5pm=17 hrs),
si desea introducir una hora mayor a 24 horas, el sistema
automáticamente lo rechazará.
AJUSTE DE ALARMA CON INTERVALOS DE
TIEMPO
Mediante esta función podrá seleccionar intervalos de tiempo
para que una alarma se active.
Cuenta con 5 intervalos de tiempo, en pantalla se mostrarán los
números del 1 al 5, los cuales corresponden a los siguientes
períodos de tiempo:
1: 3 minutos
2: 5 minutos
3: 10 minutos
4: 20 minutos
5: 30 minutos
Es decir, si configura la alarma a las 11 de la noche y selecciona
los números 1, 3 y 5, la alarma se activará a las 11, se apagará y
posteriormente se volverá a activar a las 11:03 (número1), 11:10
(número 3) y 11:20 (número 5).

tabla anterior.
El tiempo en que sonará la alarma es contado a partir de
que el usuario configuró este parámetro.
Si no desea configurar esta opción, mueva el Control de
Movimiento a la derecha hasta que desaparezca el número
5.
Si utiliza el cronómetro cualquier cambio realizado en la
alarma con temporizador se borrará
CRONÓMETRO
1.- Presione los botones S y el apuntador al mismo tiempo. El
ícono de cronómetro y el contador aparecerán en pantalla.
2.- Presione el botón del Apuntador para comenzar el conteo.
3.- Para detenerlo, presione una vez más el botón del
Apuntador.
4.- Si desea almacenar el tiempo registrado en memoria, mueva
el botón de Control de Movimiento hacia la derecha una vez, el
número 2 comenzará a parpadear.
5.- Repita el paso 4 si desea almacenar más intervalos de
tiempo, cuenta con hasta 5 memorias.
6. Una vez que las memorias se agotaron, mueva el botón de
Control de Movimiento a la derecha o la izquierda para visualizar
los tiempos registrados en cada memoria.
7.- Si desea salir de este modo, presione S.

WARRANTY
This Steren product is warranted under normal usage agains defects in workman-
ship and materials to the original purchaser for one year from the dat of purchase.
CONDITIONS
1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or purchase ticket,
product box or package, and product, must be presented when
warranty service is required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free of charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the claim was
received.
4.- Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accesories to costumer, as well
as warranty service, at any of the addresses mentioned later.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:
If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God, mishandling, leajy
batteries, failure to follow enclosed instructions, improper repair by unauthorized
personnel, improper safe keeping, among others.

Esta póliza garantiza el producto por el término de un año en todas sus partes y
mano de obra, contra cualquier defecto de fabricación y funcionamiento, a partir de
la fecha de entrega.
CONDICIONES
1.- Para hacer efectiva la garantía, presente ésta póliza y el producto, en donde fue
adquirido o en Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
2.- Electrónica Steren S.A de C.V. se compromete a reparar el producto en caso
de estar defectuoso sin ningún cargo al consumidor. Los gastos de transportación
serán cubiertos por el proveedor.
3.- El tiempo de reparación en ningún caso será mayor a 30 días, contados a partir
de la recepción del producto en cualquiera de los sitios donde pueda hacerse
efectiva la garantía.
4.- El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios,
así como hacer válida esta garantía es en cualquiera de las direcciones menciona-
das posteriormente.
ESTA PÓLIZA NO SE HARA EFECTIVA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:
1.- Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales.
2.- Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso.
3.- Cuando el producto ha sido alterado o reparado por personal no autorizado por
Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
El consumidor podrá solicitar que se haga efectiva la garantía ante la propia casa
comercial donde adquirió el producto. Si la presente garantía se extraviara, el con-
sumidor puede recurrir a su proveedor para que le expida otra póliza de garantía,
previa presentación de la nota de compra o factura respectiva.
