Before using your new Fluorescent Emergency Lamp,
please read this instruction manual to prevent any damage.
Put it away in a safe place for future references.
IMPORTANT
Do not use or store the equipment near wet places. May cause
malfunction or electrical shock.
Do not try to open the equipment, may cause malfunction.
The warranty is void if you try to open the equipment .
Do not expose the equipment to extreme weather.
If the power cord has been damaged, it must be replaced it by
the nearest supplier, or authorized personnel.
Battery replacement can only be made by authorized personnel.
Clean only with a soft, dry cloth.

TIME OF CHARGE
1.- Release the power cord from the compartment and plug it
into an AC outlet.
2.- The charging indicator lights on.
3.- The estimated time for a full charge is 20 hours
approximately.
4.- After this time, unplug the lamp from the outlet.

HOW TO USE
1.- Plug the power cord into an AC outlet.
2.- The charge indicator lights on.
3.- Select one or two tubes.
4.- Power on the lamp.
5.- After five minutes, unplug the power cord from the outlet,
simulating a power fail. The lamp should be light on
automatically. The in-use indicator will light on, too.
6.- If you want to turn the lamp off, move the power switch to
OFF (in this mode, the battery will be charging while the lamp is
not ON).
7.- If you want to use the lamp without power cord, just move
the power switch to ON, the battery life time with two tubes is 2
hours and if you use only one tube, you will have approximately
4 hours of time life.
The lamp must be connected to an AC outlet in order to
turns it on automatically when power goes off.
The charging time and in-use time may vary, depending of
environment conditions.

Antes de utilizar su nueva Lámpara de emergencia lea
este instructivo para evitar cualquier mal funcionamiento.
Guárdelo para futuras referencias.
IMPORTANTE
No use ni almacene este equipo en lugares donde existan
goteras o salpicaduras de agua. Puede causar un mal
funcionamiento o un choque eléctrico.
No intente abrir el equipo, puede ocasionar malfuncionamiento y
anulación de la garantía.
No exponga el equipo a temperaturas extremas.
El reemplazo de batería sólo puede ser realizado por personal
autorizado.
En caso de que el cordón de alimentación se encuentra dañado,
deberá ser reemplazado por el distribuidor, fabricante o personal
calificado más cercano.
Siempre utilice un paño suave limpio y seco para limpiar el
equipo.

TIEMPO DE CARGA
1.- Saque el cordón de alimentación del compartimiento y
conéctelo a un tomacorriente casero.
2.- El LED indicador de carga se enciende.
3.- Mantenga la lámpara conectada al tomacorriente por 20
horas aproximadamente.
4.- Una vez transcurrido este tiempo, desconéctela.

FORMA DE USO
1.- Inserte el cable de alimentación de la lámpara en un
tomacorriente casero.
2.- El indicador de carga se enciende.
3.- Seleccione uno o dos tubos.
4.- Cambie el interruptor de energía a la posición ON.
5.- Después de 5 minutos, desconecte la lámpara del
tomacorriente, simulando una falla eléctrica. Automáticamente
deberá encender. El LED indicador de uso se encenderá.
6.- Si desea apagar la lámpara, cambie el interruptor de
encendido a la posición OFF (en este modo, la batería se estará
cargando mientras la lámpara no se encienda).
7.- Si requiere utilizar la lámpara sin el cordón de energía,
simplemente cambie el interruptor de encendido a ON, el tiempo
de duración de la batería con los dos tubos será de 2 horas
aproximadamente y si utiliza 1 tubo, será de 4 horas.
Para que la lámpara se encienda automáticamente cuando
exista una falla eléctrica, deberá estar conectada
permanentemente a un tomacorriente.
El tiempo de carga y de uso puede variar dependiendo las
condiciones ambientales.

WARRANTY
This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in workmanship and materials
to the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase.
CONDITIONS
1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or purchase ticket, product box or
package, and product, must be presented when warranty service is required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free of charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the claim was received.
4.- Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accesories to costumer, as well as warranty
service, at any of the addresses mentioned later.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:
If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God, mishandling, leaky batteries, failure
to follow enclosed instructions, improper repair by unauthorized personnel, improper safe keeping,
among others.

PÓLIZA DE GARANTÍA
Esta póliza garantiza el producto por el término de un año en todas sus partes y mano de obra,
contra cualquier defecto de fabricación y funcionamiento, a partir de la fecha de entrega.
CONDICIONES
1.- Para hacer efectiva la garantía, presente ésta póliza y el producto, en donde fue adquirido o en
Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
2.- Electrónica Steren S.A de C.V. se compromete a reparar el producto en caso de estar defectuoso
sin ningún cargo al consumidor. Los gastos de transportación serán cubiertos por el proveedor.
3.- El tiempo de reparación en ningún caso será mayor a 30 días, contados a partir de la recepción
del producto en cualquiera de los sitios donde pueda hacerse efectiva la garantía.
4.- El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios, así como hacer
válida esta garantía es en cualquiera de las direcciones mencionadas posteriormente.
ESTA PÓLIZA NO SE HARA EFECTIVA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:
1.- Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales.
2.- Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso.
3.- Cuando el producto ha sido alterado o reparado por personal no autorizado por Electrónica
Steren S.A. de C.V.
El consumidor podrá solicitar que se haga efectiva la garantía ante la propia casa comercial donde
adquirió el producto. Si la presente garantía se extraviara, el consumidor puede recurrir a su
proveedor para que le expida otra póliza de garantía, previa presentación de la nota de compra o
factura respectiva.
