INTRODUCTIE
Gefeliciteerd met de aanschaf van uw Sunshower Pure. Met de Sunshower Pure
geniet u van diepwerkende infraroodwarmte tijdens de dagelijkse douche. De
infraroodwarmte van de Sunshower Pure dringt diep door in de huid en houdt
spieren en gewrichten soepel. U kunt de Sunshower Pure plaatsen op stahoogte of
boven een zitje. Met de Sunshower Pure maakt u van uw douche een functionele

INSTALLATIE
Waarschuwingen
•LET OP: MAAK NOOIT DE SUNSHOWER OPEN OM ELEKTRISCHE SCHOK
TE VOORKOMEN. IN HET INWENDIGE ZIJN GEEN DOOR DE GEBRUIKER
REPAREERBARE ONDERDELEN AANWEZIG. LAAT ALLE REPARATIES OVER
AAN HIERTOE BEVOEGDE PERSONEN.
• De Sunshower Pure heeft een maximaal vermogen van 1300 W. Sluit geen andere
zware elektrische apparatuur aan op dezelfde groep als uw Sunshower. Het appa-
raat moet worden aangesloten op een groep die is beveiligd met een zekering van
16A.
• Controleer of het voltage (230 V) overeenkomt met de plaatselijke netspanning
voordat u het apparaat aansluit.
• Let erop dat u voor montage en aansluiting de betreffende zekering in de
zekeringkast eruit draait (of de hoofdschakelaar deactiveert).
• Zorg dat de aansluiting van de unit geschiedt volgens de plaatselijk geldende
voorschriften en volgens NEN 1010 (internationaal IEC 60364).
• Voor een gedetailleerde omschrijving van de installatie kunt u de installatie
handleiding raadplegen welke is meegeleverd met de Sunshower Pure. Ook kunt
u de installatiehandleiding terug vinden op onze website www.sunshower.nl of via
onderstaande QR code.

HOOGTEBEPALING
Voor de aanvang van de installatie dient u te bepalen op welke hoogte de Sunshower
Pure wordt opgehangen. Dit is bepalend voor een goede werking. Voor een goed
resultaat dient de afstand tussen de sunshower Pure en de douche niet meer dan 40
cm te bedragen.
Voor gebruikers tussen de 1,7 m en 1,9m kan de gemiddelde sparinghoogte worden
gehanteerd van 92cm. Voor personen die kleiner of langer zijn dan hierboven
beschreven, kan de sparinghoogte (in cm) als volgt worden bepaald: heuphoogte -
4cm.
Indien de Sunshower Pure voor een zitje gebruikt word dient de sparing minimaal 4cm
boven het zitvlak te zitten.

GEBRUIK
Let bij het gebruik op het volgende:
• Ontdoe uw huid geruime tijd voor de infroroodsessie van crèmes, lippenstift en
andere cosmetica.
• Voorkom dat u het te warm krijgt. Ga indien nodig verder van de Sunshower Pure
af staan of zitten.
• Kijk niet langdurig in de infraroodlamp
• Houdt u aan de voorgeschreven afstand van 40 cm
• Voorkom dat andere personen tijdens gebruik in het licht van de Sunshower kijken
in verband met de kans op beschadigingen aan ogen.
• Raak de glasplaat niet aan tijdens of kort na gebruik. De glasplaat kan warm
worden.
• Gebruik de Sunshower Pure niet indien u overgevoelig bent voor infrarood licht,
raadpleeg bij twijfel uw arts.
Infrarood en uw gezondheid
Sunshower hanteert IR lampen met een compleet IR spectrum, maar met een opti-
mum in het korte golf gebied. Deze straling kan diep in de huid doordringen (tot een
diepte van 6mm). Dit leidt tot een effectieve en optimale verwarming van het lichaam.
Schadelijke stoffen worden sneller afgevoerd, bloedvaten verwijden en spieren worden
eerder soepel om zodoende betere prestaties te kunnen leveren. Deze lampen zijn bij
voorkeur geschikt om rechtstreeks uw nek, rug en schouders kortstondig te behande-
len. De maximale tijd is 10 minuten, waardoor er geen kans is op eventuele overver-
hitting van het lichaam.
Sessie starten
• Zorg dat u ca. 40 cm van de Sunshower Pure staat.
• Druk ca. 1 seconden op de AAN/ UIT toets, de toets zal wit oplichten.
• De infraroodlamp gaat gedurende 10 minuten aan en zal automatisch stoppen.
• Wanneer u op de AAN/ UIT toets drukt tijdens een sessie, beëindigt u de sessie
voortijdig.
De Sunshower zal na uitschakeling 4 minuten nakoelen voordat deze weer gebruikt kan
worden. De AAN/ UIT toets zal wit knipperen tijdens het nakoelen.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
De buitenkant van de Sunshower is het enige gedeelte dat door gebruikers gereinigd
mag worden.
• De Sunshower mag alleen handmatig gereinigd worden.
• Gebruik nooit een hogedrukspuit om de Sunshower te reinigen.
• Sunshower niet reinigen wanneer het apparaat aan staat.
Gebruik milde reinigingsmiddelen voor de Sunshower: glasreiniger of “allesreiniger”
kunnen het glas aantasten en dof maken. Er bestaat een speciaal onderhoudspakket
voor de Sunshower. Dit pakket bestaat uit een milde reiniger en een protector, die de
Sunshower beschermt tegen kalkaanslag.
VERVANGING VAN DE LAMPEN
De infrarood lamp (USHIO 1250 W) hebben een lange levensduur van 5000 uur en
gaan nauwelijks achteruit in prestaties. Ze dienen alleen vervangen te worden als ze in
het geheel niet meer werken.
GARANTIE & SERVICE
U heeft 2 jaar garantie op de Sunshower Pure. Een correct uitgevoerde installatie in
combinatie met uw aankoopbewijs geven recht op garantie. Ontvang 6 maanden extra

Sunshower is enkel verantwoordelijk voor product- en designgebreken. Sunshower kan
niet verantwoordelijk worden gehouden voor consequenties van onzorgvuldig gebruik
van dit product of voor de consequenties van het overtreden van lokale regels. Bij
schade die wordt veroorzaakt door het niet in acht nemen van deze gebruiksaanwijzing,
vervalt het recht op garantie. Voor materiële schade of persoonlijk letsel, veroorzaakt
door ondeskundig gebruik of het niet in acht nemen van de veiligheidsinstructies, zijn
wij niet aansprakelijk. In dergelijke gevallen vervalt de garantie.

STORINGEN
• Sunshower PURE reageert niet
- De AAN/ UIT toets moet ca 1 seconden ingedrukt worden, bij een te korte
indrukking zal de Sunshower PURE niet reageren.
- De Sunshower PURE is nog aan het nakoelen. Tijdens het nakoelen knippert
de AAN/ UIT toets wit.
- Controleer in de meterkast of de stop niet gesprongen is en of de
hoofdschakelaar op AAN staat.
• Sunshower valt uit tijdens een infrarood sessie
- De elektronica kan gevoelig voor dips in de netspanning (langer dan 10ms),
waardoor de Sunshower PURE kan uitvallen tijdens een infrarood sessie. Laat
de Sunshower Pure 10 minuten afkoelen en start een nieuwe sessie.
- De Sunshower is te warm geworden en is automatisch afgeslagen. Controleer
of de ventilatie openingen niet geblokkeerd zijn.

VERWIJDERING
Elektrische en elektronische producten mogen niet via het normale huisvuil worden
verwijderd. Verwijder het onbruikbaar geworden product volgens de geldende
wettelijke voorschriften.
TOT SLOT
Geniet van de diepwerkende infraroodwarmte onder de douche. Sunshower wenst u

INSTALLATION
Warning
• CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. DO NOT OPEN THE SUNSHOWER.
NO USER-SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE. REFER SERVICING TO QUALIFIED
SERVICE PERSONNEL.
• The Sunshower Pure has a power consumption of 1300 Watt. Do not connect
any heavy current using equipment to the same circuit.
• The Sunshower must be connected to a (preferably separate) circuit that is
protected with a 16A residual current device (RCD).
• Using the shower before the Sunshower has been installed is prohibited.
• Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance (230 V) corresponds to the
mains voltage in your home before you connect the appliance.
• Take the main fuse out of your fuse box (in the case of screw locks/ automats)
or switch off the main fuse before starting with the installation.
• Ensure that all the electrical connections and connection cables between the
various devices and any extension cables comply with regulations and also
comply with the operating instructions.

supplied in the Sunshower box, can be found at www.sunshower.nl or via the
QR codes.

HEIGHT DETERMINATION
Before installing the Sunshower you have to determine the installation height. This is
crucial for a proper function of the Sunshower Pure. For the best result the distance
between the front of the Sunshower and the shower head must be approximately
40cm.
For user between the 1.7 and 1.9 meter the average recess height of 92cm can be
used. For user outside the dimension range you can determine the recess height: hip
height - 4cm.
When u installing the Sunshower Pure before a seat make sure that de recess is
minimal 4cm above the seat.

USE OF THE SUNSHOWER
Pay attention to the following when using the Sunshower:
• Remove all creams, lipstick and other cosmetics of the skin before using the
Sunshower.
• Avoid getting to hot. If necessary increase the distance between yourself and the
Sunshower.
• Do not stare into the infrared lamp.
• Keep to the prescribed distance of 40 cm.
• Prevent other people watching into the infrared lamp when using the Sunshower.
• Do not touch the glass pane during and after a infrared session. The glass pane can
be hot.
• Use the Sunshower Pure not if you are sensitive to infrared light, consult with your
doctor.
Infrared and your health.
Sunshower uses IR lamps with a full IR spectrum, but optimum operation is with short
waves.These IR rays have a deep reach, penetrating the skin to a depth of up to 6 mm.
This warms the body optimally and efficiently. Harmful materials are expelled more
quickly, blood vessels expand and the muscles become more flexible so as to improve
performance. These lamps were designed to focus on the neck, back and shoulders.
The lamps reach their full heat capacity very quickly after being switched on, so no
time or energy is wasted. The maximum length of a session with the IR lamps is 10
minutes, so the chances of the body overheating are very low. Besides, this is enough
time for you to benefit from the relaxing and restorative effects of infrared during and
after showering.
Starting a session
• Position yourself approximately 40 cm of the Sunshower
• Press 1 second on the ON/OFF button, the button will turn white.
• The infrared lamp will turn on for 10 minutes and will automatically turn off.
• When you press the ON / OFF button during a session, the session ends
prematurely.
The Sunshower will cool down 4 minutes after each session before you can start it
again. The ON / OFF button will flash white while cooling down.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The outside of the Sunshower is the only part that can be cleaned by the user
• Clean the Sunshower only by hand.
• Never use a pressure washer to clean the Sunshower
• Never clean the Sunshower when in use.
Use only mild cleaners for the Sunshower: do not use bleach or other heavy duty
cleaners, they can damage the housing and the glass filter will turn dull. You can order
a special cleaner and glass protector.
REPLACING THE LAMPS
The IR lamps (USHIO 1250 W) have a large lifetime of 5000 hrs. They do not decline
in performance.They only have to be replaced when they stop functioning completely.
GUARANTEE & SERVICE
Sunshower provides a warranty of a 2 year period in materials and production. The
terms of the international guarantee do not cover the tanning lamps and the infrared
lamps. Receive 6 months extra guarantee by registring your Sunshower Pure online on:

The Sunshower warranty does not cover misuse, damage caused by others and incorrect
installation. Sunshower’s liability is limited to defects in materials and production.
Sunshower cannot be held responsible for the consequences of careless usage of this
product or for the consequences of the violation of local regulation.

TROUBLESHOOTING
• Sunshower PURE does not respond
- The ON / OFF button must be pressed for about 1 seconds, when pressing
too short the Sunshower PURE will not respond.
- The Sunshower PURE is still cooling down. During the cooling down the ON
/ OFF button flashes white.
- Check the fuse box and that the main switch is ON.
• Sunshower fails during an infrared session
-The electronics can be sensitive to dips in the mains voltage (more than 10ms),
the Sunshower PURE can fail during an infrared session. Let the Sunshower
Pure Cool for 10 minutes and start a new session.
- The Sunshower is to hot and automatically shut-down.

MONTAGE
Warmhinweis
• Achtung: Sunshower nicht eigenständig öffnen, Stromschlagrisiko. Service
ausschließlich durch Fachpersonal!
• Der Sunshower Pure hat einen Strombedarf von 1300 Watt. Bitte an dem gleichen
Stromkreis kein weiteres Gerät mit hohem Strombedarf anschließen.
• Der (vorzugsweise separate) Stromkreis für den Sunshower muss mit einem 16A
Schutzschalter versehen werden (RCD).
• Der Sunshower darf nicht vor vollständiger Installation benutzt werden.
• Überprüfen Sie, ob die Spannung des Gerätes (230V) zu der allgemein verfügbaren
Spannung in Ihrer Wohnung passt bevor Sie das Gerät anschließen.
• Schalten Sie die Hauptsicherung in Ihrem Sicherungskasten aus bevor Sie die
Installation starten.
• Versichern Sie sich, dass alle eingesetzten elektrischen Verbindungsteile und Kabel

HÖHENBESTIMMUNG
Bevor Sie den Sunshower installieren, müssen Sie die Einbauhöhe festlegen. Dies ist
eine zwingende Voraussetzung für eine gute Funktionsweise des Sunshower. Der
optimale Abstand zwischen dem Glas des Sunshower und dem Duschkopf beträgt 40
cm.
Bei Nutzern zwischen 1,70 und 1,90 Körpergröße sollte die Einbaunische auf einer
Höhe von 92 cm beginnen.
Für Nutzer mit abweichender Körpergröße nehmen Sie die Höhe der Hüfte +/– 4
cm.
Wenn der Sunshower über einem Sitz montiert wird, sollte die Einbaunische mindestens
4 cm über der Sitzfläche beginnen.
