Please read these instrucons thoroughly and retain for future use.
All products supplied by Swan are safe provided they are installed, used correctly and receive regular maintenance in accordance with these
instrucons. If you are in any doubt about your ability to install this product safely you must employ the services of an experienced qualied
plumber.
Remove all packaging and check the components for damage before starng installaon. Before starng any installaon please consider the
following:
Prior to drilling into walls, check that there are no hidden electrical wires, cables or water supply pipes. This can be checked with the aid of an
electronic detector.
If power tools are used do not forget to:
- Wear eye protecon
- Unplug equipment aer use
1. Idenfy all components before
ng.
- 2 x Taps
- 2 x Rubber Washers
- 2 x Fixing Nuts
2. Fit the taps to the sink using xing
nuts supplied. The rubber washer
goes between the tap body and
the sink.
3. Connect the hot and cold
supplies.
4. Fully open both valves, leng
them run for a few minutes to
ush out the system. Check all
joints and connecons for leaks.
Working Pressure Range: Min 0.2 bar, Max 5.0 bar
Maximum Stac Pressure: 10 bar
BS 6700 recommends the temperature of stored water
should never exceed 65°C. A stored water temperature
of 60°C is considered sucient to meet all requirements
and will minimise the build up of limescale in hard water
areas.

Installaon Steps
This product needs to be installed in accordance with, and meet the
requirements of the Water Supply (Water Fings) Regulaons 1999
and current byelaws. For full Installaon Requirements & Notes
(IRN) please visit www.wras.co.uk/directory.
Isolaon valves must be ed to the inlet water supplies to ensure
ease of future maintenance. Full access must be made available for
future maintenance/servicing purposes. Before installing this
product the water supply must be thoroughly ushed in order
to remove any swarf, solder etc.
This product must not be modied in any way as this will
invalidate the guarantee.

Maintenance
Chrome plate nish is in accordance with BS EN 248 and to maintain the surface nishes, simply wipe occasionally with a mild detergent on a so
damp cloth and dry using a so cloth. Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical household cleaners, and avoid contact with concentrated bleach.
Swan products are manufactured to the highest of standards and should require lile or no maintenance. In the unlikely event of any spare part

Troubleshoong
1. Isolate the water supply using isolaon valves (not supplied) or by
turning o at the mains.
2. Remove the cap, screw, indice and handle using appropriate tools.
3. Remove the valves. Check O-Rings/Seals for any damage. If damaged
a replacement will be necessary.
Contact Customer Services on 0330 0267 658 for available spares.
4. If seals are not damaged, place in a suitable soluon and soak unl
fully de-scaled.
5. Fit the components back to the tap by following the steps in reverse.
Turn on the water supply and check connecons for any leaks.
Symptom Cause Remedy
No ow or low
ow rate
Parally closed isolaon valve. Open isolaon valve.
Instantaneous water heater cycles on and o as ow rate
or pressure is too low.
Increase water ow rate or pressure through system.
Water pressure is below the required minimum. Refer to specicaon for minimum pressure required.
Hot or cold water being drawn o elsewhere causing
pressure changes or instantaneous boiler temperature
changes.
Do not use other water outlets when using the taps.
Airlock or paral blockage in the supply pipework. Flush through pipework to ensure removal of debris and
any airlocks.
Water
dripping from
taps
This is normal for a short me aer using the taps. This is caused by residual water tension, the build up of
water in the tap body.
If water connues to drip, this is possibly due to debris on
the washer/valve.
Remove valves and clean, refer to 'Maintenance'
secon before starng any maintenance.
Taps do not
turn on
Closed isolaon valve. Open isolaon valve.
Mains water supply turned o. Turn on mains water supply.

The complete Swan bathroom and kitchen product oering in Crosstop, Lever and Standard handle
designs are covered by a 5 year guarantee which covers retail purchasers against manufacturing or
material defects (subject to proof of purchase) but does not cover parts subject to wear and tear.
Mechanical parts subject to wear and tear are covered by a 12 month guarantee. The chrome plated
nish is covered under the same guarantee period of 5 years but is subject to the
cleaning instrucons being followed. The guarantee is not applicable where the product is ed
contrary to the condions in the ng instrucons.
Misuse and accidental damage to the product are not covered by this guarantee. The extent of this
liability is limited to the cost of the replacement of the defecve item and not to the ng or
consequenal damages.
