Operation
The switch on your Swordfish shredder enables you to select one of the followings settings:
• power- will turn the shredder on and off.When switched on the shredder is automatically started
by inserting paper into the feed slot
• reverse- in the unlikely event of paper jam,the reverse setting can be used to help clear the cutters
of paper that has not passed through properly
• forward- helps clear loose paper that is still on the blades or shredder shaft
Capacity
This Swordfish shredder will shred:
• up to 20 sheets of 80gsm paper per pass, with a max width of 220mm.
• paper clips and staples
• single credit cards
•
allowed to cool down for 20 minutes before continuing.If the shredder is used continuously for
more than 3 minutes,the shredder will automatically switch itself off.After an auto power off,put
the switch into the off position for 50 minutes before turning the shredder back on.
In case of a minor paper jam:
The automatic paper reverse feature should activate and eject any minor paper jams when they
occur.Make sure to remove the un-shredded paper from the feed opening.The overload/overheat
light should go out and normal shredding can resume. If for some reason the automatic paper
reverse does not activate,move the switch into the reverse position.
In case of a major paper jam:
The shredder will automatically switch itself off.After an auto power off,put the switch into the off
position for 50 minutes before turning the shredder back on. Grasp the excess paper from the top
and pull it out as you press the rev button.

Bediening
Met de schakelaars van de Swordfish-papiervernietiger kunt u de volgende instellingen selecteren:
• power- om de papiervernietiger in en uit te schakelen.Wanneer het apparaat is ingeschakeld,
• reverse-mocht het papier vastlopen,dan kunt u met het terugloopmechanisme het papier
verwijderen dat niet goed door de vernietiger is gegaan
• forward- om papier op de messen of in de schacht van de papiervernietiger te verwijderen

Gebruik de papiervernietiger niet langer dan 3 minuten achtereen.Hierna moet u de
papiervernietiger 20 minuten laten afkoelen voordat u hem weer gebruikt.Als de papiervernietiger
apparaat pas na 50 minuten weer in.
Als een kleine hoeveelheid papier vastloopt:
