Installation Diverter Control
Note: For rough-in installation,
please see valve body installation
guide.
1) Install gasket (J) and escutcheon
(I) to diverter valve (44-458-TRM
diverter valve = 4-458E-BODY,
44-460-TRM diverter valve =
4-460E-BODY).
Secure with two screws (H).
2) Install dome cover (G) and
washer (F) to valve and secure
with lock nut (E).
3) Install o-ring (D), ange (C), and
diverter handle (B) to valve and
secure with screw (A).
Note: Handle should be facing the
6 o'clock position.
1) Diverter handle facing straight
down is for tub spout operation.
2) 44-458-TRM: Turn diverter
handle counterclockwise one full
revolution for shower operation.
44-460-TRM: Turn diverter
handle counterclockwise 1/4 turn
for shower operation.
Note: For 44-460-TRM only.
3) Turn diverter handle
counterclockwise 3/4 turn for
hand shower operation.

Care and Cleaning
1) Clean nished trim area with a soft cloth using mild soap and water or a non-abrasive cleaner and then quickly rinse
with water.
