Orientate Arch and Fast
Release Dropouts
Step One

*Not applicable to Direct Mount setup, proceed to Step 3

Use the Tailfin logo to
orientate the Arch.
Place Dropout on Arch.
The sloped side of the
dropout faces outside
The quick release pin
faces backwards

The logo is legible when
stood behind the bike. This
will ensure panniers are
also at the correct angle

Attach Fast Release
Dropouts
Step Two
AAttach Dropouts to the
Arch using the
countersunk screws
included.
Tighten screws in turn to
5Nm

Attach Top Stay
Step Three

Rotate retaining clips so
they are pointing vertically
*WARNING* Do not overly
flex the Top Stay, This can
cause a fracture

Attach one side of the Top
Stay to Arch. Repeat for
the opposite side.
Push both arms of the Top
Stay fully onto the Arch

Now attach the retaining
clips on both sides of the
Top Stay.
Check the retaining clip is
fully seated in the groove
all the way around D

Attach Rack to Bike

AOpen Fast Release
Dropouts
BClamp Dropouts in place
around Axle/Frame Mount
Adaptors
CClose Seat Post Connector
in place

Warning
Step Six
Ensure ’teeth’ of the Seat
Post Connector are closed
by pushing on the lever.
Clamp is locked, ready to
ride

BDO NOT use the release
button to attach the Rack.
Clamp is unlocked, do not
ride

Install the screws to lock
the Fast Release Dropouts
to your axle
