7.8 Pythagoraan lauseen mukaiset epäsuorat mittaukset
Pythagoraan lauseeseen perustuvia kolmion yksittäisten sivujen mittauksia voidaan
suorittaa kolmella eri tavalla. Tämä on erityisen kätevää silloin, kun epäsuoria
mittauksia tehdään hankalissa olosuhteissa.
Huomaa:
•Kaikkien mittauspisteiden pitää olla samalla horisontaalisella tai vertikaalisella
pinnalla.
•Mittaustarkkuuden varmistamiseksi etäisyydet pitää mitata samasta
aloituspisteestä ja mittaukset suorittaa tietyssä järjestyksessä (mittaamalla ensin
hypotenuusa ja sen jälkeen toinen kateetti). Mittauksen helpottamiseksi
suosittelemme asettamaan mittarin jalustaan.
•Jos mittaria käytetään Pythagoraan lauseen mukaisiin mittauksiin, kolmion toisen
kateetin pituuden pitää olla hypotenuusan pituutta lyhyempi. Muutoin mittari ei voi
suorittaa laskelmaa, ja laitteen näytölle ilmestyy virhesymboli.
