DO NOT cut off the mains plug from this equipment. If
the plug fitted is not suitable for the power points in
your home or the cable is too short to reach a power
point, then obtain an appropriate safety approved
extension lead or consult your dealer.
If nonetheless the mains plug is cut off, remove the
fuse and dispose of the plug immediately, to avoid a
possible shock hazard by inadvertent connection to
the mains supply.
If this product is not provided with a mains plug, or one
has to be fitted, then follow the instructions given
below:
IMPORTANT. DO NOT make any connection to the
larger terminal which is marked with the letter E or by
the safety earth symbol |or coloured GREEN or
GREEN-and-YELLOW.
The wires in the mains lead on this product are
coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE : NEUTRAL
BROWN : LIVE
As these colours may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in your
plug proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected
to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or
coloured BLACK.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be
connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured RED.
When replacing the fuse only a correctly rated
approved type should be used and be sure to re-fit the
fuse cover.
IF IN DOUBT — CONSULT A COMPETENT
ELECTRICIAN.

Avant Utilisation
Lire ceci avant de faire fonctionner l'appareil
<Choisir avec soin l'endroit où vous placerez votre
appareil. Eviter de le placer directement au soleil ou

Speaker Connections
Caution:
To avoid damaging the speakers with a sudden high-
level signal, be sure to switch the power off before
connecting the speakers.
Check the impedance of your speakers. Connect
speaker with an impedance of 6 ohms or more.
The red speaker terminals are +(positive), and the
black terminals are _(negative).
The + side of the speaker cable is marked to make it
distinguishable from the _side of the cable. Connect
this marked side to the red +terminal and the
unmarked side to the black terminal.
Prepare the speaker cords for connection by stripping
off approximately 10 mm or less (no more as this could
cause a short-circuit) of the outer insulation.
Twist the wires tightly together so that they are not
straggly :

How to connect
Turn the terminal cap counterclockwise to loosen it.
The speaker terminal caps cannot be fully removed
from the base.
Insert the wire into the terminal fully and turn the
terminal cap clockwise to securely connect it.
Make sure it is fastened firm by pulling the cable
lightly.

Raccordement des enceintes Conexiones de los altavoces
Précaution:
Pour éviter d'endommager les enceintes par un signal
puissant soudain, n'oubliez pas de couper l'alimentation
avant de relier les enceintes.
Vérifiez l'impédance des enceintes. Ne reliez les
enceintes que si leur impédance est au moins égale à 6
Ohms.
La borne d'enceinte rouge doit être reliée au pôle +
(positif) et la borne noire au pôle _(négatif).
Le conducteur +des câbles de liaison aux enceintes
porte une marque pour le distinguer du conducteur _.
Le conducteur portant la marque distinctive doit être
relié à la borne rouge +tandis que le conducteur sans
marque sera relié à la borne noire.
Préparez les câbles de liaison aux enceintes en
dénudant le conducteur sur 10 mm environ (ne dénudez
pas plus car les risques de court-circuit augmentent).
Torsadez les brins pour former un conducteur bien
propre:
Pour effectuer le raccordement
Tournez le capuchon de la borne dans le sens
contraire des aiguilles d'une montre pour le
desserrer. Le capuchon ne peut pas être séparé de
la borne.
Introduisez le conducteur dans la borne puis tournez
le capuchon dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre
pour assurer son maintien:
Tirez doucement sur le conducteur pour vous
assurer qu'il est solidement maintenu.

Precaución:
Para evitar daños a los altavoces con una señal

INPUT jacks
Connect the component with RCA pin cables.
Make sure to connect :
white plug qwhite jack (L)
red plug qred jack (R)
black plug qblack jack
LINK jack
If you have TEAC DR-L700, connect the LINK jacks
with the LINK cable (provided with A-L700P).
When the LINK jacks are connected, you can
switch ON/standby the power of both DR-L700 and
A-L700P by pressing the STANDBY/ON button of
DR-L700. Always leave the POWER switch of A-
L700P in the ON position.
AC Power Cord
When all the connection has been finished, plug
the AC power cord into an AC wall socket.

APRESET VOLUME
Turn these knobs to adjust the volume of each
speaker.
When DR-L700 is connected, turn these knobs
clockwise so that the preset volume becomes
maximum.
LINK SELECTOR
Select SYSTEM when the LINK jack is connected
to DR-L700. If not, select SINGLE.
<When the LINK jack is connected to DR-L700 and
the LINK SELECTOR is set to SYSTEM, you can
switch ON/standby the power of both DR-L700 and
A-L700P by pressing the STANDBY/ON button of
DR-L700. Always leave the POWER switch of A-
L700P in the ON position.

Prise LINK
Si vous possédez un TEAC DR-L700, branchez sur
les prises LINK un câble LINK (fourni avec l'A-
L700P).
Lorsque les prises LINK sont ainsi connectées,
vous pouvez mettre en service ou en veille les
appareils DR-L700 et A-L700P en appuyant sur la
touche STANDBY/ON du DR-L700. L'interrupteur
d'alimentation de l'A-L700P doit demeurer sur la
position ON.
Cordon d'alimentation secteur
Lorsque tous les raccordements ont été réalisés,
branchez la fiche du cordon d'alimentation sur une
prise secteur.
PRESET VOLUME
Agissez sur ces boutons pour régler le niveau
sonore de chaque enceinte.
Lorsque le DR-L700 est relié, tournez ces boutons à
fond dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre de
manière que le niveau préréglé soit maximal.
LINK SELECTOR
Sélectionnez SYSTEM si la prise LINK est reliée au
DR-L700.
Dans le cas contraire, sélectionnez SINGLE.
<Lorsque la prise LINK est reliée au DR-L700 et le
commutateur LINK SELECTOR est sur la position
SYSTEM, vous pouvez mettre en service ou en
veille les appareils DR-L700 et A-L700P en

toma de corriente de CA.
PRESET VOLUME
Gire estos controles para ajustar el volumen de
cada altavoz.
Cuando el DR-L700 está conectado, gire estos
controles hacia la derecha de modo que el

LINK SELECTOR

Troubleshooting
In case of trouble with the unit, please take the trouble
to look through this chart and see if you can solve the
problem yourself before you call your dealer or TEAC
service center.
No power
eCheck the connection to the AC power supply.
No sound from speakers.
eCheck the connection to the speakers.
eAdjust the volume.
If normal operation cannot be recovered, unplug the
power cord from the outlet and plug it again.

Dépannage
En cas de problème, commencer par chercher dans ce

solution avant de contacter le revendeur ou le centre de
service client TEAC.
L'appareil n'est pas alimenté

branché.
Aucun son ne sort des enceintes
eVérifier que les enceintes sont bien connectées
eRégler le volume
Si vous ne parvenez pas à rétablir un fonctionnement
normal, débrancher le cordon d'alimentation et le
rebrancher.

No hay corriente.

conectar.

Leggere questo manuale prima di procedere all'uso
<Scegliere con cura il luogo in cui installare
l'apparecchio. Evitare di esporlo alla diretta luce del
sole o ad una sorgente di calore. Evitare inoltre
luoghi soggetti a vibrazioni o ad eccessive
accumulazioni di polvere, calore, freddo od umidità.
<Le fessure di ventilazione non devono venire coperte.
<Non aprire la cassa dell'apparecchio. Ciò potrebbe

Voor gebruik
Lees aandachtig alle onderstaande instructies voordat
het apparaat in gebruik wordt genomen:
<Kies de best mogelijke plaats voor het apparaat,
echter niet in direct zonlicht of dichtbij een
warmtebron. Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan
trillingen, stof, extreme hitte, koude of vochtigheid.
<De ventilatie-openingen mogen niet worden afgedekt
of geblokkeerd.
<Open nooit de behuizing. Dit kan leiden tot schade
aan de elektronica of een elektrische schok
veroorzaken. Wanneer een voorwerp in het apparaat
terecht komt raadpleeg dan uw dealer.
<Wanneer u de stekker uit het stopcontact verwijdert
trek dan altijd aan de stekker zelf en nooit aan de
kabel.
<Gebruik geen vloeibare schoonmaakmiddelen of

Vorsicht:
Schalten Sie unbedingt den Strom aus, bevor Sie die
Lautsprecher anschließen, damit diese durch ein
plötzliches, starkes Eingangssignal nicht beschädigt
werden können.
Prüfen Sie die Impedanz Ihrer Lautsprecher. Schließen
Sie Lautsprecher mit einer Impedanz von 6 Ohm oder
höher an.
Die roten Lautsprecherklemmen sind positiv +, die
schwarzen sind negativ _.
Die positive Seite +des Lautsprecherkabels ist
markiert, um sie von der negativen Kabelseite _
unterscheiden zu können. Schließen Sie diese
markierte Seite an die positive +rote Klemme, die
unmarkierte Seite an die schwarze Klemme an.
Bereiten Sie die Lautsprecherkabel zum Anschluss vor,
indem Sie sie ungefähr bis zu 10 mm (nicht länger, da
sonst Kurzschlussgefahr besteht) abisolieren.
Verdrillen Sie die Drähte eng, sodass sie nicht
auseinander klaffen:
Anschlussverfahren
Drehen Sie die Klemmenkappe zum Lösen im
Gegenuhrzeigersinn. Die
Lautsprecherklemmenkappen können nicht vom
Sockel abgenommen werden.
Schieben Sie das Kabel ganz in die Klemme ein, und
drehen Sie die Klemmenkappe im Uhrzeigersinn
sicher fest:
Kontrollieren Sie auf festen Sitz, indem Sie leicht am
Kabel ziehen.

Collegamento degli altoparlanti Luidsprekeraansluitingen
Attenzione:
Al fine di evitare il danneggiamento degli altoparlanti a
causa di improvvisi segnali di forte intensità, prima di
collegarli assicuratevi di spegnere l’unità.
l Verificate l’impedenza degli altoparlanti. Collegate
altoparlanti provvisti di almeno 6 ohm di impedenza. I
terminali rossi degli altoparlanti rappresentano la
polarità +(positiva), mentre quelli neri rappresentano
la polarità _(negativa). Il lato +del cavo degli
altoparlanti è contrassegnato al fine di distinguerlo dal
lato _. Collegate quindi il lato provvisto di contrassegno
con il terminale rosso +e quello sprovvisto di
contrassegno con il terminale nero.
l Predisponete il lato di collegamento del cavo degli
altoparlanti pelando l’isolamento esterno per non più di
10 mm (pelandolo di più si potrebbero successivamente
generare cortocircuiti).
Intrecciate saldamente i fili tra loro in modo che non
siano sciolti:
Modalità di esecuzione del collegamento
Ruotate il cappuccio del terminale in senso
antiorario in modo da allentarlo. I cappucci dei
terminali non possono essere completamente
rimossi dal proprio supporto.
Inserite i fili a fondo in questi terminali e quindi
ruotatene il cappuccio in senso orario in modo da
assicurare un saldo collegamento:
Provando ad estrarre lievemente i cavi, assicuratevi
che i collegamenti siano stati saldamente eseguiti.

Let op:

beschadigd door een onverwacht sterk signaal, dient u
alle apparatuur uit te zetten voordat u ze aansluit.
Controleer de weerstand van uw luidsprekers. Sluit
speakers aan met een weerstand van 6 ohm of meer.
De rode luidsprekerterminals zijn +(positief) en de
zwarte terminals zijn _(negatief).
De positieve kant van de kabel is gemarkeerd, zodat u
het verschil kunt zien met de negatieve kant van de
kabel. Sluit de gemarkeerde (positieve) kant aan op de
rode +terminal en de niet-gemarkeerde (negatieve)
kant op de zwarte _terminal.
Bereid de luidsprekerkabels voor op aansluiting door
ongeveer 10 mm of minder van het isolatiemateriaal van
de kabel te strippen (niet meer; dit kan kortsluiting
veroorzaken).
Draai de draden stevig samen zodat er geen losse
draadjes uitsteken:
Hoe sluit u de speakers aan
Draai de terminaldop los tegen de klok in. U kunt de
terminaldoppen niet helemaal los draaien.
Steek de kabel helemaal in de terminal en draai de
dop met de klok mee stevig vast:
Controleer dat de kabel goed vastzit door er licht aan
te trekken.

Im Falle eines TEAC DR-L700 schließen Sie die
LINK-Buchsen mithilfe des LINK-Kabels (mit A-

Wenn eine Verbindung über die LINK-Buchsen
hergestellt ist, können Sie sowohl den DR-L700 als
auch den A-L700P auf ON/Bereitschaft schalten,
indem Sie die STANDBY/ON-Taste des DR-L700
betätigen. Lassen Sie den POWER-Schalter des A-
L700P stets auf ON gestellt.
Netzkabel
Nachdem alle Anschlüsse hergestellt worden sind,
stecken Sie den Netzkabelstecker in eine
Netzsteckdose.

AVoreinstell-Lautstärke
Drehen Sie diese Knöpfe, um die Lautstärke jedes
Lautsprechers einzustellen.
Bei Anschluss des DR-L700 drehen Sie diese
Knöpfe im Uhrzeigersinn, sodass die Voreinstell-
Lautstärke maximiert wird.
Link-Wähler
Wählen Sie SYSTEM, wenn die LINK-Buchse mit
dem DR-L700 verbunden ist.
Anderenfalls wählen Sie SINGLE.
<Wenn die LINK-Buchse mit dem DR-L700
verbunden und der LINK SELECTOR auf SYSTEM
gestellt ist, können Sie sowohl den DR-L700 als
auch den A-L700P auf ON/Bereitschaft schalten,
indem Sie die STANDBY/ON-Taste des DR-L700
betätigen. Lassen Sie den POWER-Schalter des A-
L700P stets auf ON gestellt.

Connettore LINK
Se disponete del TEAC DR-L700, collegate i
connettori LINK per mezzo del cavo LINK (fornito
in dotazione all’A-L700P).
Una volta effettuati i collegamenti ai connettori
LINK, premendo il tasto STANDBY/ON del DR-L700
è possibile accendere o portare in stato di attesa
(standby) sia il DR-L700P stesso sia l’A-L700P.
Lasciate sempre l’interruttore POWER dell’A-L700P
in posizione ON.
Cavo di alimentazione CA
Una volta completati tutti i collegamenti, inserite il
cavo di alimentazione CA nella presa di rete.
PRESET VOLUME
Ruotate queste manopole per regolare il livello di
ciascun altoparlante.
Quando il DR-700L è collegato, ruotate queste
manopole in senso orario in modo da elevare al
massimo il volume predefinito.
LINK SELECTOR
Selezionate SYSTEM quando la presa jack LINK è
collegata al DR-L700.
In caso contrario selezionate SINGLE.
<Quando la presa jack LINK è collegata al DR-L700
e LINK SELECTOR è impostato su SYSTEM, è
possibile accendere o portare in stato di attesa
(standby) sia il DR-L700 sia l’A-L700P premendo il
tasto STANDBY/ON del DR-L700 stesso. Lasciate
sempre l’interruttore POWER dell’A-L700P in
posizione ON.

Als u een TEAC DR-L700 heeft, sluit u de LINK-

Wanneer deze kabel is aangesloten, kunt u zowel
de DR-L700 als de A-L700P aan of op stand-by
zetten door op de STANDBY/ON-toets op de DR-
L700 te drukken. Laat de POWER-toets op de A-
L700P altijd op ON (aan) staan.
Stroomkabel
Als alle kabels zijn aangesloten, steekt u de
stroomkabel in het stopcontact.
PRESET VOLUME
Draai aan deze knoppen om het volume van elke
luidspreker aan te passen.
Wanneer een DR-L700 is aangesloten, draait u
deze knoppen met de klok mee om het preset
volume op maximaal te zetten.
LINK SELECTOR
Selecteer SYSTEM wanneer de LINK-aansluiting
is aangesloten op de DR-L700.
Als dit niet het geval is, selecteert u SINGLE.
<Wanneer de LINK-aansluiting is aangesloten op de
DR-L700 en de LINK SELECTOR op SYSTEM staat,
kunt u zowel de DR-L700 als de A-L700P aan of op
stand-by zetten door op de STANDBY/ON-toets
van de DR-L700 te drukken. Laat de POWER-toets
van de A-L700P altijd AAN staan.

Kein Strom
eÜberprüfen Sie bitte die Verbindung zwischen
Gerät und Netzsteckdose.
Keine Wiedergabe über die angeschlossenen
Lautsprecherboxen.
eÜberprüfen Sie bitte den Anschluß der einzelnen
Boxen.

Stellen Sie eine angenehme Wiedergabelautstärke
ein.
Falls nach Durchführung der o. g. Maßnahmen der
normale Betrieb stets noch nicht möglich ist, ziehen
Sie den Netzstecker und stecken Sie ihn nach ca. 20
Sekunden wieder ein.
Dieses Gerät steht unter wenig, nicht operativer
Spannung, wenn es mit dem POWER-Schalter auch
ausgeshaltet ist.
Netzschalter (POWER)
Mit diesem Schalter wird das Gerät ein-
/ausgeschaltet.
Betriebsanzeige (POWER)
Der jeweilige Status kann an der Farbe der
Anzeige erkannt werden:
Blau : Strom ist eingeschaltet.
Orange : DR-L700 ist angeschlossen, und Gerät
befindet sich im Bereitschaftsmodus.
Aus : Strom ist ausgeschaltet.

Nell’impossibilità di ripristinare il corretto
funzionamento, estrarre il cavo d’alimentazione dalla

Als normale bediening niet (meer) mogelijk is trek dan
de stekker uit het stopcontact en steek deze
vervolgens na ca. 20 sec. pause weer terug in het
stopcontact.
