5．Bracing
Cutthetwocarbonrods.One end
of the carbon rod is fixed into the
hole of the fin with the foam－
friendly C／Aand the other end is
fixed into the hole of the fuselage．
Make sure they are vertical．
Positionthecarbonrodsinthe
fuselage,gluingthe rodstothe
verticalfuselageONLY.Thiswill
allowfor alignmentofthefuselage
inthenextstep.

bracingthathasbeenpreinstalled onthewingandfuselage.Therodsarestaggeredand fitinto
notchesinthefuselage.Makesuretherods arestraightandarenotflexingthewing.Usefoam-
friendlyC/A togluetherodsinposition.Thewing shouldbeflatandparalleltothehorizontal
stabilizer,whilealsobeingperpendiculartothevertical fuselage.Usesidecutterstotrimawayany

afewdropsoffoam-friendlythinC/Atotheendofthe
pushrodandallowitto"wick"intothejoint.

Gluethefirewalltotheheadoftheplan.
Assemble themotorontothefirewall,usingthefour
woodscrews provided.PROTIPAfterflyingthe
airplane,youmaywanttoaddrightand/ordown
thrusttothemotor.Youcandothisbyaddingthin
washersbetweenthe motormountandthefirewall.

PlugtheservoandESCleadsintotheirproperslotsinyourreceiver,thenmountyourbattery tothe
fuselage,oppositetheESC.Runtheantennaoutthebottomofthefuselageandsecureitalongits
length,usingpiecesofcleartape(notincluded).Donotcuttheantennashorter.Allowtheexcessto
hangbeyondthebackofthefuselage.
Assemble yourbatteryintothe
battery compartment,usinga
pieceof velcro.

Exponential softens the response of the control
surfaces around neutral stick. This makes the
airplane easier to control while using such large
control throws. The Exponential values shown are
given as a percent. Please note that different
brands of radio control systems may call for + or -

manual for more info.

MotorThrust
Toensuregreatflightperformanceandtobeable
totrimyourairplaneproperly,itiscriticalthatyou
adjustthemotorthrustasdescribed.Wesuggest
thatyouadd2degreesofdown-thrustand1
degreesofright-thrust.Thiscanbeachievedby
addingawasherortwobehindthetopandright
sideofthemotor(betweenthemotorandthe
firewall).Whensetproperly,thetrimforthe
elevatorandtheruddershouldbeneutral.Fine-
tunethedown-thrustandright-thrustuntilthistrim
isachieved.
