source with the handles folded.
To put the handles in the use position
nPut up the handles until you hear the opening
“CLICK” - Fig 8

with the valve position marker. Press down fully
- Fig 9
nTurn to the “cook” position - Fig 10
n Place the trivet* (H) in the base of the pan.
n Place the steaming basket* (G) on the trivet*.
nFill 2/3 full with water.
nClose the Pressure Cooker - Fig 2.
nPlace the Pressure Cooker on a heat source and set
to maximum power.
nWhen steam begins to escape through the pressure
regulator valve, reduce the heat and wait 20 minutes
- Fig 11
nWhen the 20 minutes are up, turn off the heat.
nReduce pressure by putting your Pressure Cooker
under running water from the cold tap - Fig 12
nWhen steam no longer comes from the pressure
regulator valve, turn the pressure regulator valve to
the steam release position and open the lid
- Fig 13
nRinse the Pressure Cooker with water and dry it.
nUse a metal scourer and a little diluted vinegar to
remove any traces of scale.

nTime cooking as indicated in the recipe book.
A little steam may escape from the safety valve: this is
normal.
nAs soon as cooking time is up, turn off the heat.
9 - End of cooking
To release the steam
nOnce the heat has been turned off, you have two
options:
nSlow release of pressure: turn the valve to the
“depressurise” position - Fig 13
If, on releasing the pressure, you see any
food or liquid start to eject from the valve, turn it
back to the “cook” position then release the
pressure slowly, making sure there is no more
spitting.
nFast pressure release: place the Pressure Cooker
under running water from the cold tap - Fig 12
nWhen steam stops coming out of the pressure
regulator valve: turn the valve to the “depressurise”
position .
nOpen the Pressure Cooker.
10 - Cleaning and maintenance
