This product is designed for GSM/GPRS networks. On top of basic functions, it enables
you to use phone book, ringtones, clock/alarm, calendar, calculator, games, audio player,
camera, video recorder, sound recorder and other functions. It serves your work and leisure
time.
Our phone set meets the GSM/GPRS standard and has the qualication from related
organizations worldwide.

1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read this instruction manual carefully before use. It contains important
information for your safety as well as operating and maintenance advices.
Observe all safety instructions to avoid damage through improper use!
Keep this instruction manual for future use. If this phone should be passed on to
a third party, then this instruction manual must be included.
1.1 Mobile Phone
Use only original accessories or accessories approved by the phone manufacturer. Using
any unauthorized accessories can aect the performance of your mobile phone, cause
damage or bodily harm and violate local regulations related to telecom terminals.
This phone can produce an electromagnetic eld, so do not place it near magnetic items
such as computer disks.
Using the phone near electrical appliances such as a TV, telephone, radio or computer
can cause interferences.
Do not expose your mobile phone to direct sunlight or leave it in hot areas. High
temperatures can shorten the life span of electronic devices.
Do not bang or drop your phone. Rough handling can break internal circuit boards.
Do not connect the phone with any incompatible equipment.
Do not attempt to disassemble the mobile phone or battery.
Do not store the phone with ammable or explosive products.
Do not power this mobile phone without battery.
1.2 Network Services and Costs
This mobile phone is approved for use on GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz networks.
Subscribe with your local mobile service provider. The use of such services can
generate data transfer costs. Several phone features may require network support, so a
subscription is necessary.
1.3 Radio Wave Exposure
Your mobile device is a radio receiver and transmitter. Refer to the SAR section for more
information about the exposure level for this device.
During use, the actual SAR values for this device are usually below the indicated values.
The better your network reception, the lower will be the radio wave emissions (therefore,
the operating power of your phone is automatically decreased). Try to make your calls
when network cover is optimal, indicated by 3 or 4 bands (in the upper left hand corner).
The hands-free kit provided with the device also helps to signicantly reduce your radio
wave exposure. Privilege the use of your hands-free kit when making phone calls. With
a headset, pregnant women are advised to keep the phone away from the belly and
teenagers away from the lower abdomen.
1.4 Precautions for Use While Driving
Road safety is your priority. Check the laws and regulations concerning driving while
using mobile phones in the country where you are driving. Always follow them.
Use the hands-free function of the phone, if available. Pull o the road and park before
making or answering calls if conditions so require.

1.5 Medical Devices / Pacemakers
When using your phone near to pacemakers, stay a minimum distance of more than 15
centimetres away from the pacemaker when the phone is switched on.
Do not carry your phone in your chest pocket. Use the ear opposite the pacemaker to
minimize the potential for interference and remember to switch o the mobile phone if
necessary.
If you use any other personal medical device, consult the manufacturer of your device to
nd out whether it is adequately shielded from RF energy.
In facilities with special rules, such as hospitals or health care facilities, comply with the
restrictions on the use of mobile phones. Switch o your phone if required.
1.6 Precautions for Electronic Devices
Some electronic devices are susceptible to electromagnetic interferences from mobile
phones if inadequately shielded, such as the electronic system of vehicles; if necessary,
consult the manufacturers of devices before using the phone.
1.7 Hearing Protection
This device has been successfully tested to comply with the Sound Pressure Level
requirement according to the applicable standard EN 50332-1:2013.
WARNING: Excessive exposure to loud sounds can cause hearing damage.
Exposure to loud sounds while driving can distract your attention and cause
an accident. Set your headset at a moderate level and do not hold your device
near to your ear when the loudspeaker is turned on.
1.8 Precautions for Use in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres
Switch o your phone prior to entering any area with potentially explosive atmospheres,
such as fuelling areas, or fuel or chemical storage or transfer facilities. Do not remove,
install, or charge batteries in such areas.
Sparks in a potentially explosive atmosphere can cause an explosion or re resulting
in bodily harm or death. To avoid possible interference with detonators, switch o your
phone when you are near electric blasting caps, a blasting area, or in areas where
"Turn o electronic devices" is posted. Always obey signs and instructions.
1.9 Safety and General Use in Vehicles
The safety airbag, brakes, speed control system and injection system should not be
aected by wireless transmission. If you encounter problems with the elements above,
contact your car dealer.
Do not place your phone in the area over an airbag or in the airbag deployment area.
Airbags inate with a force that is proportional to the intensity of the collision. If a phone
is placed in the airbag deployment area and the airbag inates, the phone can be
forcefully propelled and cause serious injury to occupants of the vehicle.
Switch o your mobile phone in service stations.
1.10 Aircraft Safety
Switch o your mobile phone before the airplane takes o. In order to protect the airplane
communication system from interference, it is forbidden to use mobile phones during
ight.
Safety regulations require permission from a crew member for the use of phones while
the plane is on the ground. If your mobile phone has the automatic power-on function,
ensure that it is switched o before the ight.

1.11 Battery Use
Do not short-circuit the battery as this can cause the device to overheat or ignite.
Do not store the battery in hot areas or throw it in a re as this might cause an explosion.
Do not try to disassemble or reassemble the battery as this might cause uid leakage,
overheating, explosion or igniting of the battery.
Store the battery in a cool dry place if you do not use it for long periods. The battery can
be recharged hundreds of times, but it is subject to normal wearing. When the operating
time (talking time and standby time) is noticeably shorter than normal, it is time to replace
it.
Stop using the battery if it is damaged or show obvious signs of aging. Use only original
battery or a battery approved by the manufacturer. Using any unauthorized battery can
aect the performance of your device or cause a risk of explosion, etc.
Keep the battery out of reach of children.
WARNING: If the battery is damaged, do not discard it. In case of a leak and
the battery uid comes in contact with the eyes or skin, wash thoroughly with
clear water and consult a doctor.
2. SCOPE OF DELIVERY
Remove all packaging and dispose of accordingly. Carefully check below listed package
content. If anything is missing, contact immediately your retailer.

4. GETTING STARTED
4.1 Installing SIM Card(s)
Note: This phone is a dual SIM model, therefore it can support two SIM
cards at the same time. If no SIM card is inserted or if the SIM card is
damaged, the screen will show “Insert SIM”.
Note: This phone supports standard sized SIM card only. Use a card adaptor
if necessary.
1. Make sure phone is switched o and remove the back cover.
2. Install one or two SIM cards using respective slots SIM1 and SIM2. If you want to install
only one SIM card, use slot SIM1. Make sure the contacts of the SIM card are facing
downwards and cut corner is orientated to the right bottom side.

4.2 Installing Memory Card
WARNING: SIM cards and Micro-SD cards are small objects, so keep them
out of reach of children. Risk of chocking due to ingestion of small parts!
1. To install a Micro-SD card (not provided),
open the back cover and remove the battery.
2. Slide the card holder (below the SIM1 slot)
to the left and put the Micro-SD card into the
card holder. Slide the holder to the right to
lock the card in place.

4.3 Installing Battery
Note: Use only original battery or a battery approved by the manufacturer.
Do not use any other unauthorized batteries.
1. Remove the back cover.
2. Install battery by sliding it into battery
compartment with contacts facing
downwards to the right.
3. Replace the back cover.
4.4 Charging Battery
Notes:
The battery comes partially charged.
Charge the battery only indoors and in dry locations.
Insert the Micro-USB plug carefully. It only ts one way.
Normal charge time takes 3-4 hours.
Do not leave the phone charging for more than 24 hours.
To maximise battery life limit multimedia functions.
Charge the battery between 0°C~45°C. Charge the battery promptly
when at.
With poor network conditions (less than 2 bars) battery life is reduced.
When not using the phone for long periods remove the battery.
1. Plug one end of provided charging cable to a suitable power adaptor, USB port or a
power bank with an output of 5 V.
2. Plug the other end with micro-USB plug to phone's charging port.
3. In a pop-up menu select "Charging" and press OK key.
4. The icon is displayed once battery is fully charged.
5. Disconnect charging cable once phone has been fully charged.
WARNING: When a travel charger and its accessories are used to charge
the battery, check rst whether they have been made or approved by the
manufacturer. Using other accessories can damage your mobile phone and
present a risk.
4.5 Switching Phone On for the First Time
1. Press and hold key.
2. Enter provided PIN code.
3. Once phone is switched on for the rst time, it prompts user to set date and time. To set
date and time use keypad or direction keys ( , , , ) and conrm with OK key.
4. Default language is set to French. If you wish to change the language see
chapter 8, point 2.

5. NAVIGATING MAIN MENU
5.1 Controls

The Main Menu is a grid of icons to access key features on the phone.
From Home Screen press OK key to access Main Menu. Alternatively press Left Soft key.
Use direction keys ( , , , ) around OK key to move up, down, right or left and
press OK key again to conrm.
If you see a menu with preassigned number, you can directly press
that number on a keypad to directly open that menu.
5.2 Shortcuts
Tip: The shortcuts are pre-assigned, however they can be changed.
To change default shortcuts go to: Menu > Settings > Phone > Shortcuts

6. BASIC FUNCTIONS
6.1 Making Voice Call
There are 4 key ways to make a call:
1. Enter the number directly on the keypad.
2. Press Right Soft key to access Contacts menu via a shortcut.
3. Go to Main Menu, scroll to Contacts and press OK key.
4. Press key to access call log and search for needed number.
Whichever way you choose, press key to make a call.
To end a call, press key or close ip cover.
Tip: To increase or decrease the volume during active call use up and down
direction keys (, ).
6.2 Answering Incoming Voice Call
There are 2 key ways to answer a call:
1. Press key to answer a call.
2. Press Right Soft key.
3. To end a call, press key or close ip cover.
Tip: To mute incoming call without rejecting it, press OK key.
During a call, press Left Soft key to see available options:
Add new call  Call another number while putting existing call on hold.
Hold  Put current call on hold.
Start recording  Record existing call as audio le.
Mute  Mute microphone on/o.
Adjust volume  Adjust volume of existing call.
Contacts  Access phone book.
Call history  Access call log.
Messages  Edit and send a message.
Tip: To put existing call on loudspeaker press OK key. Press it again to return
to previous mode.
6.3 Using Voicemail
1. To use a voicemail service, press and hold numeric key .
2. If your SIM card does not recognize the voicemail number you will be asked to
"Edit voicemail number".
3. Press OK key, then Left Soft key and enter voicemail number.
4. Conrm by pressing OK key again.

6.3 Using Voicemail
Tip: The voicemail number can be also changed in menu:
Menu > Messages > Voice mail server
6.4 Using Call Logs
In this menu you can browse all the calls: Missed / Dialled / Received / Rejected.
When in Call logs menu, press Left Soft key to see available options:
Details  Display number, date, time, type and SIM card name of call.
Call  Call displayed number.
Write message  Send message to displayed number.
Add to contacts  Add to contact list.
Add to blacklist  Add number to blacklisted numbers.
Delete  Delete number from call log.
Delete all  Delete all numbers from call log.
Mark  Mark one or more numbers e.g. to delete in series.
Tip: Call log can be also directly accessed by pressing key.
6.5 Using Address Book (Contacts)
Quick Search: Use this feature to nd desired contact.
Type in a keyword to display all matching contacts.

6.5 Using Address Book (Contacts)
When in Contacts menu, directly press Left Soft key to see available options:
New contact  Add new number to contact list.
Delete multiple  Delete several contacts simultaneously.
Import/Export  Copy contact from phone to SIM card and vice versa, or
import/export a contact to/from memory card.
Memory status  View remaining memory slots. This phone can save up to 300
contacts in its memory, plus additional 250 contacts on SIM
card.
When a desired contact is highlighted, additional options are available.
1. Press Left Soft key to see available options:
Write message  Send text message to selected contact.
Call  Call selected contact.
Delete  Delete selected contact from contact list.
2. Press OK key and then Left Soft key to see available options:
Edit  Edit selected contact.
Delete  Delete selected contact from contact list.
Copy  Copy selected contact from phone to SIM1 / SIM2 or vice versa.
Send vCard  Send contact information by either SMS, MMS or Bluetooth®.
Creating group of Contacts:
By default this phone comes with 4 set groups: Family / Friends / Business / Classmates.
You can create a new group of contacts in order to send a message to all members at the
same time or to assign a specic ringtone for entire group.
1. While in Contacts menu, press right direction key ( ).
2. Press Left Soft key to see available options:
New group  Add new groups and set its name.
Mass texting  Send message to selected members of a given group. This
option is only available to groups with assigned members.
Group ringtone   Set identical ringtone for all members of selected group.
When inside a specic Group, additional options are available.
Manage members  Add / remove members from group.
Remove from
group  Remove members from group.
Call  Call selected group member.
Write message  Send text message to selected group member.
Send vCard  Send contact information by SMS, MMS or Bluetooth®.
View contact  View contact information.

6.6 Sending Text or Multimedia Messages (SMS or MMS)
Note: Sending MMS is similar to SMS. The main dierence is adding media.
Use MMS to send attachments such as pictures, music or video les.
1. Press left direction key ( ) as a shortcut for Messages or go to:
Menu > Messages > Write Message > New SMS
> New MMS
2. Enter phone number directly or press OK key to select a contact(s) manually from
Contacts menu.
3. Scroll through contact list and press OK key to select. At this point multiple contacts can
be selected.
4. Press Right Soft key once all desired contacts have been added.
5. Press OK key to conrm.
6. Press down direction key ( ) to scroll down to message box.
7. Type message, press Left Soft and then OK key to send.
When editing a message, press Left Soft key to see available options:
Send  Send written message.
Insert template  Insert a predened message. You can add or edit templates at:
Menu > Messages > Templates.
Add contact info  Insert details of contact into message text body.
Add phiz  Insert predened expressions.
Save as draft  Save message in Drafts folder so it can be sent later.
Exit  Quit message editing.
Note: If text message exceeds 160 characters you will be charged for
multiple text messages. Letters, symbols and spaces count as characters.
How to Type Using Keypad
The letters of the alphabet are arranged on numeric keys from 2 to 9.
Whenever you are in text entry mode, to enter a name, send a message or write a note,
mobile phone will automatically change to letter mode.
The letters written on numeric keys are entered depending on how many times you press
the key. This is called multi-tap mode.

6.6 Sending Text or Multimedia Messages (SMS or MMS)
For example, to write name John, press:
> 5key once for J,
> 6key three times for O,
> 4key twice for H, and
> 6key twice for N
To insert a space press 0 key.
If you have made a mistake and want to delete letter(s) press Right Soft key.
Press 1key repeatedly for common punctuation marks.
Press * key to access special characters. Then use * key and #keys to scroll between 3
pages of special characters. As last, press OK key to conrm selected special character.
Tip: In multi-tap mode if next letter is on the same key, wait 1 second or
down direction key ( ).
How to select Input Method (abc, Abc & ABC)
Press #key and select 4 available input methods.
1. Abc

5. Writing language
When in Inbox menu,press Left Soft key to see available options:
Reply  Reply to message.
Delete  Delete selected message.
Call  Call sender of selected message.
Lock  Lock message so it cannot be deleted.
Move  Move message from SIM card to phone memory and vice versa.
Copy  Copy message to SIM card or phone memory and vice versa.
Mark  Mark one or more messages e.g. to delete in series.
Sort  Sort inbox messages by Time / Contacts / Subject / Type.
Add sender to  Add sender as new contact or to existing contact.
Delete repeated
numbers  Delete all messages from selected sender.
Add to blacklist  Add sender to blacklisted contacts.
SMS Settings
When in Messages menu, press Left Soft key to see available options for SMS:
Settings SIM1 message centre View and edit message centre number (SIM1).
SIM2 message centre View and edit message centre number (SIM2).
Message validity period Select validity period for message sent.
Status report Select whether to receive receipt report.
Save sent messages Select whether to save sent messages.
Preferred storage Select default message storage location.
Message capacity  View remaining memory capacity for SMS and MMS.

6.6 Sending Text or Multimedia Messages (SMS or MMS)
MMS Settings
When in Messages menu, press Left Soft key and then Right Soft key to see available
options for MMS:
Settings SIM1 MMS account View and edit MMS network account (SIM1).
SIM2 MMS account View and edit MMS network account (SIM2).
Receive options Set various receive options.
Send options Set various send options e.g. message validity.
File storage Select default message storage location.
Play audio Select whether to play audio embedded into the
message.
Restore default Restore default settings for MMS services.
6.7 Using Camera / Video
Camera
This phone is equipped with 0.3 MP built-in camera. Its use is quite straightforward, simply
press OK key to take a picture / record a video.
When in Camera mode, press Left Soft key to see available options:
Image viewer  Display all pictures saved on phone and memory card.
DV mode  Switch to video mode.
Eect  Apply any of 8 preset picture eects.
Settings  Change various camera settings: Photo size / Photo quality /
Banding (anti-icker) / Shutter sound / Auto save / Storage.
Video
When in Video mode, press Left Soft key to see available options:
View video directory  Display all videos saved on memory card.
DC mode  Switch to camera mode.
Eect  Apply any of 8 preset video eects.
Settings  Change various camera settings: Video size / Banding
(anti-icker) / Audio player / Video format / Storage.
Tip: In either Camera or Video mode, use up and down direction keys (, )
to zoom in and out.

6.8 Using Multimedia
Multimedia section acts as an access hub to below phone tools:
Camera  See section 6.7.
DV (video camera)  See section 6.7.
Music (audio player)  See section 6.9.
Image (photo gallery)  See section below.

Image viewer allows you to view photos in JPG format.
When in Image menu,press Left Soft key to see available options:
Eect   Select slide play eect.
Delay time  Select slide play time delay.
Change folder  Select folder with photos intended for slide play.
When in Image menu,select photo gallery and press Left Soft key to see available options:
Set as wallpaper  Set selected picture as wallpaper.
Set as contact icon  Set selected picture as contact icon.
Delete  Delete selected picture.
Share  Share selected picture via MMS or Bluetooth®.
Mark  Mark one or more pictures e.g. to delete in series.
Rename  Rename selected picture.
Slide play  Start slide show of pictures saved in selected folder.
Details  View details of selected picture.

6.8 Using Multimedia
Video
Video player allows you to watch videos in 3gp format. Use OK key and direction keys
( , , , ) to navigate:
fPrevious video file
fPress and hold to rewind
fNext video file
fPress and hold to fast-foward
Increase volume
Press OK key to
play / pause
Decrease volume
While in Video player menu, press Left Soft key to see available options:
Fullscreen play  Play video le in full screen mode.
Local play list  Access saved video les.
Shue  Play all video les in random order.
Repeat  Repeat playback of one video le or all video les.
Settings  Choose playback mode or reset to default settings.
Details  View details of selected video le.
Exit  Stop playback and exit video player.
Recorder
Sound recorder allows you to record audio in either WAV (higher quality) or AMR (lower
quality) format. Use OK key to start / pause recording. Press Right Soft key to stop
recording and save the le.
While in Recorder menu, press Left Soft key to see available options:
Start recording  Start recording audio.
Recordlelist  List of all recorded audio les.
Storage  Select default storage location for recorded audio les.
File format  Select default le format (AMR or WAV).
After audio le is recorded, additional options are available.
Audition  Play last recording.
Record again  Record audio again.
Delete  Delete last audio recording.
Send  Share recorded audio via MMS or Bluetooth®.

6.9 Using Audio Player
Audio player allows you to listen to audio les in various formats: MP3, AMR, WAV, MID.
Use OK key and direction keys ( , , , ) to navigate:
fPrevious audio file
fPress and hold to rewind
fNext audio file
fPress and hold to fast-foward
Increase volume
Press OK key to
play / pause
Decrease volume
While in Audio player menu, press Left Soft key to see available options:
Music list  Access saved audio les and play lists.
Add  Add audio le to existing or new play lists.
Set as ringtone  Use playing audio le as ringtone for incoming calls.
Shue  Play all audio les in random order.
Repeat  Repeat playback of one audio le or all audio les.
Settings  Choose Equalizer and/or activate Bluetooth® audio output.
Open review  Listen to section of audio le in repeat mode.
Exit  Stop playback and exit audio player.
