Thank you for choosing our mobile phone. By reading this instruction manual before using this product
you will have a good understanding of the mobile phone's functions.
This product is designed for GSM networks. On top of basic functions, it enables you to use a phone
book, ringtones, clock / alarm, calendar, calculator, audio player, camera, sound recorder, and other
functions.
Our phone set meets the GSM standard and has the qualication from related organizations worldwide.
We reserve the right to modify the content of this instruction manual without prior notice.

3. UNDERSTANDING YOUR PHONE
PART DESCRIPTION
Call key Use to make and answer calls.

Displays the date, time, battery level and the notication of incoming
calls or messages.
Volume control keys
Allows you to adjust the ringtone or media volume or adjust the
voice volume during a call.
Charging port Allows you to connect the phone charger.
3.5 mm headset jack
Allows to plug in either a stereo headset or an optional headset
for convenient, hands-free conversations.
Flip-opening cover
Open the cover to reveal the keypad to dial a number or answer an
incoming call (function available after prior activation in Settings).
Close the cover to end the call.
International Call Prex Key
To make an international call, enter a +, followed by the country
code, followed by the desired number without the 0 at the beginning.
Press and hold to enter a + sign.

Press: Dial "1"
Press and hold: Access your voicemail.
CAUTION! Inserting an accessory into the incorrect jack may damage the phone.

4. GETTING STARTED
Prepare your phone, battery, SIM card, memory card (this is required for camera & multimedia functions),
and charger.
WARNING: The device accessories contain small parts. Keep all the equipment out
of the reach of children.
The mains adaptor is the cuto system for electrical supply to the device. The wall socket must be
close to the device and easily accessible.
4.1 Removing or attaching the back cover
There is a groove at the bottom of the phone on the left side. With
a ngernail or an opening tool, pry open the edge of the back cover
and pull it up to remove it.
After the battery is inserted, replace the back cover while ensuring that
the circular hole on the battery cover is aligned with the SOS button.
4.2 Removing or inserting the battery
1. First, detach the battery cover to remove the battery. There is a
horizontal groove at the bottom of the battery. With a fingernail or
an opening tool, pry over the battery to remove it.
2. To insert the battery, point the battery contacts upwards towards
the contact points of the battery compartment. Click the battery into
place and attach the back cover.
This mobile phone is suitable for the original accessories and battery
only.
4.3 Installing the SIM card
To use all your mobile phone services you must subscribe to a mobile network that will provide you
with a SIM card assigned with a unique mobile number. To make phone calls, the SIM card must be
inserted.
WARNING: Do not bend or scratch the SIM card or let it gather dust, and avoid
exposure to humidity and static electricity. If you lose the card, contact your network
operator immediately.
Power o the phone, remove the back cover and the battery before inserting or removing the SIM
card. To insert a SIM card into the card slot, slide it in with the gold-coloured contacts facing down
and the bevelled edge is pointing at the right side.
4.4 Installing the memory card
Power o the phone, remove the back cover and the battery before
inserting or removing the microSD. Insert a microSD into the card slot
with correct orientation indicated.
SIM and microSD cards are small objects, keep them out of children’s reach.

4.5 Charging the battery
 For the first and subsequent uses, charge the phone battery until fully charged. The icon is
displayed on the right upper corner of the main screen as well as the external display. The icon
means that the battery is low.
To use the travel charger, insert the small end of the charging cable into the charging port at the
bottom of the phone. Insert the plug into a power outlet. It will start charging automatically. The
icon will be displayed once the battery is fully charged. Disconnect the charger from the phone.
You can also charge your phone in the cradle charger. Insert the small end of the charging cable
into the charging port on the back of the cradle charger. Insert the power plug into a power
outlet. Place the closed phone on to the connectors. Ensure the phone's external screen is facing
towards the front of the cradle. The icon will be displayed once the battery is fully charged.
Remove the phone from the cradle charger.
WARNINGS:
 When a travel charger and its accessories are used to charge the battery, please
check if they are original or recognized by the original manufacturer. Using other
accessories can damage your mobile phone and present a risk.
Always use the accessories indoors, in dry places.
Do not throw the battery into the fire. Damaged batteries can cause an explosion.
Refer to the detailed safety instructions concerning the precautions for use of the
battery.
 Do not leave the battery connected to a charger for longer than 12 hours, overcharging
may shorten its life.
5. EXTERNAL DISPLAY
The S560 comes with an integrated external screen which allows you to quickly view the details of
an incoming call, whether messages or notications have been received or see if a phone call has
been missed.
To wake the external screen, with the phone cover closed, press the volume keys on the left-hand
side of the device. The screen will also automatically turn on for a limited time when a notication is
received to alert you. When the external screen is on, the time and date, battery level and the network
operator are displayed for your information.
6. INITIAL SETUP
6.1 Turning the phone ON / OFF
Long press the red key to turn on the phone. Once unlocked, the home screen is displayed.
To turn the phone o, long press the red key until prompted to Power o, and press the left key.
Note: If no SIM card is inserted or if the SIM card is damaged, the screen indicates
“Insert SIM”.
6.2 First time setup
When a SIM card is inserted and the phone is turned on for the rst time, you are prompted to
make the following settings sequentially.

Input a PIN code Use the keypad to input numbers, then select OK to conrm.
 Select a language Use the / keys to select a language then select OK to
conrm.
 Set the date and time Use the / keys to select the time / date / daylight saving
field, Use the numeric keys to input values. To select a digit position,
press the and keys. To turn on or off daylight saving, press
the or key. Select OK to confirm the settings.
To manually set the date and time at a later date, go to Settings -> Phone -> Time and date -> Set
time / date.
To manually set a language, go to Settings -> Phone -> Language.
7. USEFUL TIPS
To access the main menu, press the left key.
 To navigate up and down, press the / key. To navigate left and right, press the or key.
To confirm a choice or access Options menu, press the left key.
To go back or cancel an option, use the right key, or the key to go back to the main screen.
On the main screen, press and hold the #key to switch between vibration and general modes.
The default password for phone lock is “0000”.
7.1 Enter text with the keypad
Press the # key to toggle between input methods (ABC, abc, Abc, and 123) or select Options ->
Input method to display the input methods. Press the left key to confirm a selection.
To add a space, press the 0key.
To delete characters, press the right key.
To toggle between common punctuation marks, press the 1key repeatedly or select Options ->
Insert symbol to display the punctuation marks and other symbols. Press the left key to confirm
a selection.
To insert a symbol, press the key or select Options -> Insert symbol to display the symbol list.
Use the / / / keys to select a symbol, then press the left key to confirm a selection.

9. BASIC FUNCTIONS
9.1 PLACING A CALL
From the main screen, enter a phone number. Press the key to start a call.
 To make a call to a saved contact, go to Contacts or press the right key (when in home screen).
Select a desired contact, then press the key to make a call or select Options -> Call.
To hang up the call, press the key or close the flip cover.
Notes:
If you typed the wrong number, delete the incorrect digits by pressing the right key.
 The entered number can be saved to Contacts by selecting Options (left key) -> Save to
contacts.
 To activate the loud speaker while connecting an outgoing call, press the left key. During the
call, press the right key.
9.2 ANSWERING / DECLINING A CALL
If the calling number exists in the contacts, the mobile phone will present both the name and the
phone number of the caller. If the caller cannot be identied, the mobile phone will present the calling
number only.
When you receive a call:
Open the flip cover and press the key or the left key to answer an incoming call.
 Open the flip cover to answer automatically the call. (This function is deactivated by default. Please
check below Notes to see how to activate it).
Notes:
To change the answering method (e.g. open the flip cover to answer or press any key to answer,
go to Settings -> Call -> Advanced settings -> Answer mode.
 You can also answer a call directly from your provided headset, if connected, by pressing the
round button.
 Press the call end / power on / off key or the right key to decline the call. The caller will
be transferred to your voicemail. To silence an incoming call without rejecting it, press the volume
keys on the left side of the phone.
To reduce or increase the volume during a call, press the volume key on the side of the phone.
10. MENU
This telephone has a wide range of functions available to you. To simplify matters, we have provided
you an explanation of each possible interaction you may encounter. These are divided into submenus
in the order they appear on the Menu (pressing the left key on the home screen). These categories
are Contacts, Messages, Call logs, Multimedia, Tools, Proles, Settings, and SOS.
10.1 CONTACTS
Contacts enables quick and easy access to the contact you want to reach. Contacts can be saved
on the SIM card or phone memory.
To access the contacts, go to Contacts, or from the main screen press the right key. To leave the
Contacts menu, press .
hTo add a new contact
1. Go to Contacts -> Add new contact, then press the left key.
2. Choose where to store your contact (SIM card or phone), then press the left key to confirm.
3. In the contact editing interface, press the / key to select the Name field to input the name
for your new contact. Then, select the Mobile field to input the phone number.

4. Then, select Options (the left key) -> Save to save it. If the contact is saved on the phone
memory, you can also input an E-Mail address of the caller, set a Caller picture, and assign a
unique Caller ringtone.
hViewing the contact
Go to Contacts -> choose the contact -> click the left key to enter Options -> View -> click the
left key to enter.
hSending SMS
Go to Contacts -> choose the contact -> click the left key to enter Options -> Send SMS -> OK
-> type the message. Once message has been written, select Options with the left key -> Send
to -> Options -> Send to send out the message.
Note: For more details, please check "Writing SMS" paragraph on page 12.
hSending MMS
Go to Contacts -> choose the contact -> click the left key to enter Options -> Send MMS -> OK
-> type the message. Once message has been written, select Options with the left key -> Send
to -> Options -> Send to send out the message.
Note: For more details, please check "Writing MMS" paragraph on page 12.
hEditing the contact
Go to Contacts -> choose the contact -> click the left key to enter Options -> Edit -> OK ->
make changes -> click the left key to enter Options -> SAVE.
hDeleting the contact
Go to Contacts -> choose the contact -> click the left key to enter Options -> Delete -> click
the left key to Delete.
hCoping contact
Go to Contacts -> choose the contact -> click the left key to enter Options -> Copy -> To Phone
-> OK (Click the left key to conrm).
hMarking several contacts
Go to Contacts -> choose the contact -> click the left key to enter Options -> Mark several ->
OK (Click the left key to conrm):
Send SMS
Delete marked
hAdding a contact to direct key
Go to Contacts -> choose the contact -> click the left key to enter Options -> Add to direct key
-> OK (Click the left key to conrm) -> choose M1, M2 or M3 -> (Click the left key to enter
Options):
Save Click the left key to conrm.
Edit Click the left key to edit the name and / or mobile number.
Remove Click left key to remove the assign mobile number.
From the main screen, press briey , or to call the assigned phone number directly.
hContact settings
Go to Contacts -> choose the contact -> click the left key to enter Options -> Settings -> OK
(Click the left key to conrm):
Preferred storage Phone / SIM card.
 Speed dial Speed dial is a function allowing the user to place a call by assigning
a saved phone number to one of the number keys. When assigned,
holding the assigned keypad number will make a call to the contact.
Memory Status Check the status of the contact storage. This phone allows you to
save 200 contacts.

 Copy contacts Create a copy of a contact. You may copy from the SIM card to the
phones integrated memory or vice versa or simply create a copy
in the same location as the original contact.
Move contacts Move the storage location of a contact between the SIM card and
the phone memory
 Delete all contacts You will be provided with the option to delete all contacts from the
SIM card or the phone memory. Attention: This operation cannot
be reversed.
10.2 MESSAGES
hWriting SMS
Go to Messages -> Write SMS -> click the left key to conrm -> type the message -> select
Options -> Send to -> select the recipient (To enter the number manually, select Enter number and
type the number, then press OK to conrm. To select a contact from the phonebook, select Add
from Phonebook, then select a desired contact from the list and press OK. When the recipient is
added, select Options -> Send).
When in edit message interface, click the left key to enter more Options:
Insert symbol Punctuation marks, other symbols.
 Select an Input method You may select the input method between all capital letters, all
lower-case letters, capitalization at the start of sentences, or numeric
(ABC, abc, Abc, 123).
Insert template Choose a message from pre-set templates.
Advanced Insert contact / Insert number / Insert name.
Save Save a message.
Managing messages:
When you receive a new message, an alert is displayed on the main screen, or an alert is displayed
on the external display if the phone cover is closed. Press the left key to read it, or press the right
key if you would like to read it later.
Go to Messages -> Inbox to consult messages.
hWriting MMS
Go to Messages -> Write MMS -> click the left key to conrm -> type the message -> select
Options -> Send to -> select the recipient.
To enter the number manually, select Enter number and type the number, then press Options ->
Done to conrm. To select a contact from the phonebook, select Add from Phonebook, then select
a desired contact from the list and press OK. When the recipient is added, select Options -> Send.
When in the edit message interface, click the left key to enter more Options:
Send to Enter a recipient or choose from the phonebook.
Insert symbol Punctuation marks, other symbols.
Select an Input method ABC, abc, Abc, Numeric.
Add picture From my pictures.
Add sound
Add video
Add subject Type a specic message subject.
Preview MMS
Slide option Add slide behind / Add slide before / Slide time (sec.)
Advanced Insert text template / Insert attachment.
Save Save a message.
hInbox
The place where messages are received. The Inbox is the default location for all incoming messages.
Go to Messages -> Inbox -> click the left key to conrm and check your received messages.

hOutbox
An outbox is where outgoing messages are temporarily stored. The message is stored in the outbox
until it is successfully sent to the recipient. Once the message has been sent, the message is moved
to the "Sent Messages" folder. As long as the message has not been sent, it may be deleted.
Go to Messages -> Outbox -> click the left key to conrm and check your outgoing messages.
hDrafts
A draft is a message you have not yet sent.
Go to Messages -> Drafts -> click the left key to conrm and check your draft messages.
hSent messages
All the messages that have been sent are transferred to the Sent messages folder.
Go to Messages -> Sent messages -> click the left key to conrm and check your sent messages.
hSMS templates
Save time by creating text message templates that can be personalised for each contact. Create
and save complete SMS templates with text, then send quickly without typing.
To create a new SMS template, go to Messages -> SMS templates -> click the left key to conrm
-> User dened -> Options -> Add -> create your template, then press Options -> Save.
There are also pre-set templates. Go to Messages -> SMS templates -> click the left key to
conrm -> Default -> choose a message from default templates.
hMessage settings
1. SMS
Go to Messages -> Message settings -> SMS -> click the left key to conrm:
Memory status
The SMS memory status function helps to view your phone's message memory and storage information
to help you monitor your memory and storage use and decide whether you need to make space for
new contacts.
Save sent message (On / Off)
Here you can choose whether the message is automatically saved or deleted after sending. If you
turn o this function, you will not be able to view the sent messages.
2. MMS
Go to Messages -> Message settings -> MMS -> click the left key to conrm -> Common
settings:
Compose
1. Slide time (sec.) Input the slide time with the keypad, pre-set 5 seconds.
2. Creation mode Press the or key to choose between Free / Warning / Restricted
creation mode.
3. Auto signature Press the or key to choose between turning On / Off the auto
signature).
4. Signature Click the left key to enter more Options -> Select -> Text -> Edit ->
Add a desired text.
Sending
1. Delivery report Press the or key to choose between turning On / Off the report
delivery.
2. Read report Press the or key to choose between turning On / Off the report.
3. Priority Press the or key to choose between Low / Medium / High priority.
4. Delivery time Press the or key to choose between Immediate / 1 hour later /
12 hours later / 24 hours later delivery time.
5. Send and save Press the or key to choose between switching On / Off the report.

Retrieval
1. Home network Press the or key to select the home network: Immediate / Deferred
/ Rejective.
2. Roaming Press the or key to select the roaming: As home / Immediate /
Deferred / rejective.
3. Filters Click the left key to enter more Options -> Select:
Anonymous Press the or key to choose between Allow and Reject.
Advertisement Press the or key to choose between Allow and Reject.
4. Read report Press the or key to choose between On request / Send / Never
send.
5. Delivery report Press the or key to choose between turning On / Off the report
delivery.
Preferred storage
Here you can select whether you want to store MMS in the phone memory or on the memory card.
Use the / keys to switch between the Phone and Memory card. Then, press OK.
Memory status
1. Phone You can verify, used memory and free memory.
2. Memory card
10.3 CALL LOGS
To check call records, go to Call Log, or from main screen, press key to access all Call Logs
displayed together.
Missed calls: When the mobile phone indicates that calls have been missed, you can select View
to enter the missed calls list. Navigate to a missed call and then press the left key to access
different options for that call (call back, send message, save to contacts, add to blacklist or delete).
 Dialled calls: Choose dialled calls and then select a dialled call. Press Options to delete, call,
write message, add to contacts, add to blacklist.
 Received calls: Choose received calls and then select a received call. Press Options to delete,
call, write message, add to contacts, add to blacklist.
Note: You can also Delete call logs (either delete all calls from each folder separately:
dialled, missed and received, or delete all of them at once by selecting All calls) and
check Call times (duration of the last call, dialled calls, and received calls).
hTo add a new contact from call logs
Go to Call Log or press the key on the main screen to access all call logs -> select a phone number
using the / keys -> click the left key to enter Options -> Save to contacts and press the
left key to conrm. Then, follow the steps shown in paragraph "To add a new contact" on page 10.
hTo add a new contact from typing a phone number
On the main screen, type a phone number using the keypad. Then, select Options -> Save to
contacts, and press the left key to conrm. Then follow the steps shown in paragraph "To add
a new contact" on page 10

10.4 MULTIMEDIA
hCamera
To access camera mode, press the key from the main screen, or go to Multimedia -> Camera
-> click the left key to conrm -> press the to take a photo.
When in the camera interface, click the left key to enter more Options:
Switch to video recorder
To switch to video mode, select Options -> Switch to video recorder (requires a memory card).
Photos
Photos acts as a media player to view photos and videos.
Camera settings
Flash Press the or key to choose between Auto, O and On.
EV (luminosity) Press the or key to choose.
Anti-icker Press the or key to choose between 50Hz, or 60Hz.
 Delay timer Press the or key to choose between O, 5 seconds,10
seconds,15 seconds.
Image settings
 Image size Press the or key to choose between 240x320, 640x480,
800x600, 1280x960, and 2048x1536.
 Image quality Press the or key to choose between Low, Normal, and
Good.
Effect settings
Use the / keys to switch between Normal / Gray scale / Sepia / Sepia green / Sepia blue
/ Colour invent.
White balance
Use the / keys to switch between Auto / Daylight / Tungsten / Fluorescent / Cloudy /
Incandescent.
Scene mode
Use the / keys to switch between Auto / Night.
Storage
Use the / keys to switch between Phone / Memory card.
Restore default
You can restore default camera settings if necessary.
hVideo recorder
Allows to record a video with sound.
The video recorder allows for the recording of videos (sound is also captured).
Switch to camera For more details, please check "Camera" paragraph on page 15.
Videos For more details, please check "Photos" paragraph on page 15.
Camcorder settings Select between 50Hz and 60Hz anti-icker settings.
 Videos settings Change between Normal / Good / High and Sharing video qualities.
Storage settings Change between Phone / Memory card.
Note: A memory card (microSD) is required for use of the video recorder.

hAudio player
Through the Multimedia, you can access an Audio player. It can play audio les stored in your SD
card or recorded through the Sound Recorder function. To allow the phone to play audio les saved
to the SD card, make sure the audio les are saved in a folder named "My music".
To play or pause music playback, press the key. To stop music playback, press the key. To
select a previous or next music le, press the or key.
Note: You must install a memory card to use these functions.
hVideo player
To play videos, go to Multimedia -> Video player. Select a video le using the / keys then
select Options -> Play to start video playback.
To play or pause video playback, press the key. To stop video playback, press the key. To
select a previous or next video le, press the or key. To view the video on full screen, press
the 0key. To exit full screen mode, press the 0key again.
hImage viewer
Image viewer acts as a media player to view photos and videos. To access the Photos, go to
Multimedia -> Image viewers. By clicking the left key, you can enter the more Options. Options
allows to View, Browse style (List style / Matrix style), Send (As MMS / Via Bluetooth), Use as
(Wallpaper), Rename (change the photo's name), Delete, Sort by (Name / Type / Time / Size), Storage
(Phone / Memory card), and as well as check Image information.
hSound recorder
Go to Multimedia -> Sound recorder. This function allows you to make voice or audio recordings.
When the Sound recorder is open, press the left key to enter the Options menu. From here,
select 'New record' to begin a new recording. When recording, pressing the left key will pause
the recording, whilst the right key will stop and save it.
Play Playback previously recorded les.
List Provide a list of previously recorded les.
 Settings Change storage location (Memory card or Phone) and Audio quality (High or
Low).
hFM radio
The phone is equipped with a radio. It can be used both with and without earphones or a headset.
To access the Radio, go to Multimedia -> FM radio.
Press the or keys to adjust radio frequency.
Press the key to pause or resume the radio broadcast.
To tune to a radio station, press the key to activate the search function (the search icon is
highlighted with white colour) then press the or key for auto searching of a radio station.
Select Options to access more functions, e.g. channel list, auto search, settings, etc.
Note: The quality of the radio depends on the coverage of the radio station in that
particular area. Changing the orientation of the handset may improve the reception.

10.5 TOOLS
hCalendar
Use the Calendar to keep track of important meetings, appointments, etc. Go to Tools -> Calendar
-> click the left key to conrm.
Click the left key to enter more Options:
View event
Here you are able to view events scheduled for the selected day. To create a new event, click the

View all events
In View all events, you can check all upcoming events. The same options as below are available.
Add event
In Add event, you can add new events. Fill in all required information for this new event -> Save /
Options -> Save:
Subject Click the left key to enter more Options -> click the left key
to Edit -> input a subject. Then, press Options -> Done.
 Start date and time Input the start date and time with the keypad. Use the /
keys to switch between the date and time.
 End date and time Input the end date and time with the keypad. Use the / keys
to switch between the date and time.
 Type reminder Click the left key to enter more Options -> click the left key to
Select -> select the type reminder using the / keys (Reminder
/ Meeting / Course / Date / Call / Anniversary / Birthday) -> OK.
Alarm Click the left key to enter more Options -> click the left key
to Select -> select the alarm using the / keys (Off / On / 5
min before / 10 min before / 15 min before / 30 min before) -> OK.
Repeat Click the left key to enter more Options -> click the left key
to Select -> select the repeatability of the event using the /
key (Once / Everyday / Custom / Weekly / Monthly / Yearly) -> OK.
Location Click the left key to enter more Options -> click the left key
to Edit -> type the location. Then, press Options -> Done.
Details Click the left key to enter more Options -> click the left key
to Edit -> type details. Then, press Options -> Done.
Delete event
In the Delete event folder, you can delete All events, Overdue events, or events from a Specic
period. To delete the event from the specic period select the start date and time, end date and
time and click OK to conrm.
Jump to date
The jump to date function allows you to go to a specic date. Enter the desired date with the keypad
-> OK.
Go to today
The go to today function allows you to go to today's date.
Start of week
You can choose whether your week starts from Monday or Sunday.

hAlarm
You can set up to ve alarms. Alarms will still work while the phone is o as long as the battery is
suciently charged.
In Alarm menu, click the left key to Edit:
Use the / keys to toggle between the alarm settings interface.
Press the or key to turn the alarm On or Off.
Input the time with the keypad.
Press the or key to set the snooze 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes.
Repeat Click the left key OK to choose the repeatability of the alarm: Once /
Everyday / Custom). In Custom you can select specific day(s): Monday
/ Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday / Friday / Saturday / Sunday.
 Alarm tone Click the left key to enter more Options -> click the left key to Select
-> select the alarm tone using the / keys -> Select.
Alert type Press the or key to select the alert type (Ring only / Vibrate
only / Vibrate and ring.
hTasks
In Tasks, click the left key to Add a new task:
Subject Click the left key to enter more Options -> click the left key to Edit
-> input a subject. Then, press Options -> Done.
 Priority Press the or key to choose between Low / Medium / High priority.
 Due date & time Input the due date and time with the keypad. Use the / keys to
switch between the date and time.
 Alarm Click the left key to enter more Options -> click the left key to Select
-> select the alarm using the / keys (O / On / 5 min before / 10
min before / 15 min before / 30 min before) -> OK.
 Repeat Click the left key to enter more Options -> click the left key to Select
-> select the repeatability of the task using the / keys (Once /
Everyday / Custom / Weekly / Monthly / Yearly) -> OK.
Details Click the left key to enter more Options -> click the left key to Edit
-> type details. Then, press Options -> Done.
Status Press the or key to choose between Done / Undone status.
hCalculator
The calculator can add, subtract, multiply and divide. To use the calculator:
1. Input the value with the keypad.
2. Press the / keys to select +, -, ÷, ×, respectively.
3. Press the left OK to get the result. Press the right key to delete the figures.
hPedometer
The pedometer uses the built-in sensor to count your steps. Use the or key to see the
pedometer history.
hStopwatch
The Stopwatch provides the possibility to time actions. When started, the progress can be paused
by pressing the left key, or a lap time can be saved by pressing the right key. The lap times will
be displayed.

hWorld clock
The World Clock shows current local time, date, world time in cities and countries across the world.
Use the / keys to toggle between the world clock settings interface.
Press the or key to choose the desired GMT time (GMT -12 to GMT +12).
Press the or key to toggle between GMT in major cities.
Click the left key to enter Options -> Daylight saving time for foreign city (On / O).
hFile manager
In File manager, click the left key to enter more Options. From here, it is possible to view, edit
and delete les stored in the phone memory or on a memory card. It is also possible to reformat the
memory of the phone.
ATTENTION: Formatting the memory card will delete all stored information.
10.6 PROFILES
Go to Proles -> to select the desired prole. The options available are General, Silent and Vibration.
These proles will determine what happens when you receive a phone call or a text message.
hGeneral / Vibration
If you choose General or Vibration proles, click the left key to enter more Options:
Activate Set this prole as current sound prole.
 Customize Access features, such as call / message ringtones, volume, ring
settings, and system sounds. If you want to change the ringtone
for the selected prole, go down to Ringtone and press Options
-> Change. Use the / keys to select a pre-set ringtone or
Select from le, then press Select to conrm. If Select from le
is selected, use the / keys to select a folder where music
les are stored, and select Open to access music les. Then use
the / keys to select a music le and select OK to conrm.
Here are the other settings you can modify to Customize your sound prole:
Alert type Press the or key to choose between Ring only / Vibrate
only / Vibrate and ring / Vibrate then ring of the alert type.
 Ring type Press the or key to choose between Repeat / Beep once
ring type.
 Ringtone Click the left key to enter more Options -> Change -> select
the desired ringtone using the / keys.
Ringtone volume Press the or key to adjust the ringtone volume.
 Message Click the left key to enter more Options -> Change -> select
the desired message tone using the / keys.
Message volume Press the or key to adjust the message volume.
Keypad Press the or key to choose between Click / Tone / Silent
keypad tone or Human voice (with this option selected, the phone
will use a digital voice to repeat the digits dialled when typing a
number from the main screen).
Key-tone volume Press the or key to adjust the key-tone volume.
 Cover open Click the left key to enter more Options -> Change -> select
the desired tone using the / keys.
 Cover close Click the left key to enter more Options -> Change -> select
the desired tone using the / keys.

System alarm Press the or key to turn on / o the system alarm.
Reset Reset the prole to default settings.
hSilent
When Silent mode is activated, incoming phone calls and messages will not ring or vibrate. Alerts
on screen will remain active.
Note: On the main screen, press and hold the # key to switch between general and silent prole
modes.
10.7 SETTINGS
The S560 provides a variety of settings which may be changed to best suit your needs. These vary
from personalization options such as language, time and date and wallpapers, to more practical
settings like blacklisting certain telephone numbers to prevent telemarketers. You will nd a detailed
explanation of each setting below.
Note: All references start at Menu -> Settings:
hCall
Caller ID Activate or disable the display of caller information if available.
 Call waiting Activate or disable the ability to put callers on hold / switch to a
second call.
 Call divert Choose to redirect calls under various circumstances either to
voice mail, or to a second telephone number.
 Call barring Prevent incoming and outgoing calls whilst travelling to avoid
potential charges (depending on network subscription.
Go to Settings -> Call -> Advanced settings:
 Blacklist Reject numbers in blacklist (On / O) / Blacklist number (to
add a number to blacklist press Edit -> type the number using the
keypad -> Options -> Done.
Note: When a phone number is on the blacklist, the call will not be displayed on the
mobile phone. You may add up to 20 numbers to the blacklist. The blacklisted number
is directly rejected.
Auto redial This option allows you to redial busy phone lines automatically.
Call time reminder Select one of the options: O / Single / Periodic). This function
is useful if you have a limited call time plan. If activated, you will
hear a beep sound during your call in order to warn you that you
have reached the time limit you set up.
For Single option, set reminder time from 1 to 3000 seconds.
Type a figure using the keypad.
For Periodic option, set reminder time from 30 to 60 seconds.
Type a figure using the keypad.
 Answer mode Choose one of the available modes: Flip to answer / Any key /
Auto answer when headset mode.
hPhone
Language
To change the language, follow the below steps:
Go to Settings -> Phone -> Language -> Choose the desired language preference.
Time and date
To change the date and time, follow the below steps:
Go to Settings -> Phone -> Time and date:
Go to the Set home city to select your time zone.
