This product is designed for GSM/GPRS networks. On top of basic functions, it enables
you to use phone book, ringtones, clock/alarm, calendar, calculator, audio player, camera,
sound recorder and other functions. It serves your work and leisure time.
Our phone set meets the GSM/GPRS standard and has the qualication from related
organizations worldwide.

1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read this instruction manual carefully before use. It contains important
information for your safety as well as operating and maintenance advices.
Observe all safety instructions to avoid damage through improper use!
Keep this instruction manual for future use. If this phone should be passed on
to a third party, then this instruction manual must be included.
1.1 Mobile Phone
Use only original accessories or accessories approved by the phone manufacturer. Using
any unauthorized accessories can affect the performance of your mobile phone, cause
damage or bodily harm and violate local regulations related to telecom terminals.
This phone can produce an electromagnetic field, so do not place it near magnetic items
such as computer disks.
Using the phone near electrical appliances such as a TV, telephone, radio or computer
can cause interferences.
Do not expose your mobile phone to direct sunlight or leave it in hot areas. High
temperatures can shorten the life span of electronic devices.
Do not bang or drop your phone. Rough handling can break internal circuit boards.
Do not connect the phone with any incompatible equipment.
Do not attempt to disassemble the mobile phone or battery.
Do not store the phone with flammable or explosive products.
Do not power this mobile phone without battery.
1.2 Network Services and Costs
This mobile phone is approved for use on GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and W850/
W2100 networks. Subscribe with your local mobile network provider. The use of such
services can generate data transfer costs. Several phone features may require network
support, so a subscription is necessary.
1.3 Radio Wave Exposure
Your mobile device is a radio receiver and transmitter. Refer to the SAR section for more
information about the exposure level for this device.
During use, the actual SAR values for this device are usually below the indicated values.
The better your network reception, the lower will be the radio wave emissions (therefore,
the operating power of your phone is automatically decreased). Try to make your calls
when network cover is optimal, indicated by 3 or 4 bands (in the upper left hand corner).
The hands-free kit provided with the device also helps to significantly reduce your radio
wave exposure. Privilege the use of your hands-free kit when making phone calls.
With a headset, pregnant women are advised to keep the phone away from the belly and
teenagers away from the lower abdomen.
1.4 Precautions for Use While Driving
Road safety is your priority. Check the laws and regulations concerning driving while
using mobile phones in the country where you are driving. Always follow them.
Use the hands-free function of the phone, if available. Pull off the road and park before
making or answering calls if conditions so require.

1.5 Medical Devices/Pacemakers
When using your phone near to pacemakers, stay a minimum distance of more than
15 centimetres away from the pacemaker when the phone is switched on.
Do not carry your phone in your chest pocket. Use the ear opposite the pacemaker to
minimize the potential for interference and remember to switch off the mobile phone if
necessary.
If you use any other personal medical device, consult the manufacturer of your device to
find out whether it is adequately shielded from RF energy.
In facilities with special rules, such as hospitals or health care facilities, comply with the
restrictions on the use of mobile phones. Switch off your phone if required.
1.6 Precautions for Electronic Devices
Some electronic devices are susceptible to electromagnetic interferences from mobile
phones if inadequately shielded, such as the electronic system of vehicles; if necessary,
consult the manufacturers of devices before using the phone.
1.7 Hearing Protection
This device has been successfully tested to comply with the Sound Pressure Level
requirement according to the applicable standard EN 50332-1:2013.
WARNING: Excessive exposure to loud sounds can cause hearing damage.
Exposure to loud sounds while driving can distract your attention and cause
an accident. Set your headset at a moderate level and do not hold your device
near to your ear when the loudspeaker is turned on.
1.8 Precautions for Use in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres
Switch off your phone prior to entering any area with potentially explosive atmospheres,
such as fuelling areas, or fuel or chemical storage or transfer facilities. Do not remove,
install, or charge batteries in such areas.
Sparks in a potentially explosive atmosphere can cause an explosion or fire resulting
in bodily harm or death. To avoid possible interference with detonators, switch off your
phone when you are near electric blasting caps, a blasting area, or in areas where "Turn
off electronic devices" is posted. Always obey signs and instructions.
1.9 Safety and General Use in Vehicles
The safety airbag, brakes, speed control system and injection system should not be
affected by wireless transmission. If you encounter problems with the elements above,
contact your car dealer.
Do not place your phone in the area over an airbag or in the airbag deployment area.
Airbags inflate with a force that is proportional to the intensity of the collision. If a phone
is placed in the airbag deployment area and the airbag inflates, the phone can be
forcefully propelled and cause serious injury to occupants of the vehicle.
Switch off your mobile phone in service stations.
1.10 Aircraft Safety
Switch off your mobile phone before the airplane takes off. In order to protect the
airplane communication system from interference, it is forbidden to use mobile phones
during flight.
Safety regulations require permission from a crew member for the use of phones while
the plane is on the ground. If your mobile phone has the automatic power-on function,
ensure that it is switched off before the flight.

1.11 Battery Use
Do not short-circuit the battery as this can cause the device to overheat or ignite.
Do not store the battery in hot areas or throw it in a fire as this might cause an explosion.
Do not try to disassemble or reassemble the battery as this might cause fluid leakage,
overheating, explosion or igniting of the battery.
Store the battery in a cool dry place if you do not use it for long periods. The battery can
be recharged hundreds of times, but it is subject to normal wearing. When the operating
time (talking time and standby time) is noticeably shorter than normal, it is time to replace
it.
Stop using the battery if it is damaged or show obvious signs of aging. Use only original
battery or a battery approved by the manufacturer. Using any unauthorized battery can
affect the performance of your device or cause a risk of explosion, etc.
Keep the battery out of reach of children.
WARNING: If the battery is damaged, do not discard it. In case of a leak and
the battery uid comes in contact with the eyes or skin, wash thoroughly with
clear water and consult a doctor.
1.12 Power Adaptor
When charging this phone with power adaptor only use provided power adaptor or
power adaptor with identical specifications.
Danger of electric shock! Do not attempt to repair this power adaptor yourself. In case of
malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.
This power adaptor can only be used in dry indoor locations.
This power adaptor is not waterproof. Do not handle it with wet hands or in humid
locations.
Disconnect power adaptor from electrical outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
Provided power adaptor is classified as protection class II and must not be connected to
a protective ground.

4. GETTING STARTED
WARNING: The device and accessories contain small parts. Keep all the
equipment out of the reach of children.
4.1 Installing SIM Card
Note: This phone supports standard sized SIM card only. Use a card adaptor
if necessary. If no SIM card is inserted or if the SIM card is damaged, the
screen shows "Insert SIM Card".
1. Make sure the phone is powered off and then remove the back cover.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Install a SIM card into the SIM card slot. Make sure the contacts of the SIM card are
facing inwards and the bevelled edge is facing upwards.

4.2 Installing MicroSD Card
Note: A micro SD card is included in the package box.
1. To install a Micro-SD card, power off the
phone, open the back cover and remove the
battery.
2. Slide the card holder to the left and put the
Micro-SD card into the card holder. Slide the
holder to the right to lock the card in place.

4.3 Installing Battery
Note: Use only original battery or a battery approved by the manufacturer.
Do not use any other unauthorized batteries.
1. Remove the back cover.
2. Install battery by sliding it into battery compartment
with contacts facing downwards as shown.
3. Reinstall the back cover.
4.4 Charging Battery
Notes:
The battery comes partially charged.
Charge the battery only indoors and in dry locations.
Insert the Micro-USB plug carefully. It only fits one way.
Normal charge time takes 3-4 hours.
Do not leave the phone charging for more than 12 hours.
To maximise battery life limit multimedia functions.
Charge the battery between 0°C and 45°C. Charge the battery promptly
when flat.
With poor network conditions (less than 2 bars) battery life is reduced.
When not using the phone for long periods remove the battery.
1. Connect the provided charger to a suitable power outlet.
2. Plug the other end with micro-USB plug to phone's charging port.
3. The battery charging LED is on during the charging process.
4. The icon is displayed on the main screen and the battery charging LED goes off
once the battery is fully charged.
5. Once phone has been fully charged, disconnect the phone from the charging port and
the power outlet.
For charging alternatively use provided charging cradle.
WARNING: When a travel charger and its accessories are used to charge
the battery, check rst whether they have been made or approved by the
manufacturer. Using other accessories can damage your mobile phone and
present a risk.
4.5 Switching Phone On for the First Time
1. Press and hold key.
2. Enter provided PIN code by using either real keypad or virtual keypad to select numbers,
and press the central navigation key to confirm.

To use virtual keypad, press once Down key, a blue square underlines a digit of the
virtual keypad. Then select the digits you want by using navigation keys and confirm
each digit by pressing central navigation key. Once Pin Code entered, in order to confirm
it, select the arrow key under the digit 9 and press central navigation key. In case you
make an error in the Pin code, in order to delete select the backspace symbol above the
digit 3 and press central navigation key to delete.
3. Select desired menu language (e.g. English) from the language list and press the central
navigation key to confirm.
4. Set date and time.
The default setting is “Automatic time & date” and “Automatic time zone”. “Automatic
time & date” is available only if a SIM card is installed. Press the Right Soft Key, the
phone synchronizes the data automatically and enters the main menu.
To set time and date manually, deactivate the automatic setting first:
a.To deactivate automatic time and date, press the central navigation key to select
Automatic date & time. Use the navigation key to select Off and the central navigation
key to confirm. Then go down and select SET DATE. Use the Up/Down keys to select
the month.
b.Then press Right key to go to day setting, use also Up/Down keys to select the day
you need. Same thing for year setting.
c.Once you have set date, press Left soft key to confirm and go back to menu. Now you
can select SET Time and follow same instructions as for the date.
d.Once Date and Time are set, press Left Soft key to save and quit.
You can also set Date and Time later in “Settings menu -> Date & Time".
5. NAVIGATING MAIN MENU
5.1 Controls
To access the main menu, press Left Soft Key, or press the central navigation key.
Both the central navigation key and Left Soft Key can be used to conrm a choice, while
Left Soft Key also supports to display a list of options in menu.
Use the Right Soft Key to cancel an option, or the key to go back to the main menu. By
pressing up, down, left or right of the navigation key, you can scroll through the menu.
5.2 Shortcuts
From the main screen., press the navigation key to launch phone features assigned as
default shortcuts:

6. BASIC FUNCTIONS
6.1 Making and Answering a call
Making Voice Call
There are four key ways to make a call:
Enter the number directly on the keypad.
Press Right Soft Key to access Contact menu via a shortcut.
On the main menu, press Left Soft Key to access History menu. Go through the call log
and search for needed number.
Press key to access call log and search for needed number.
Whichever way you choose, press key to make a call.
To end a call, press key or close ip cover.
Tip: To increase or decrease the volume during active call use the
increase/decrease volume keys located on the left side of the phone.
Answering Incoming Voice Call
Press key to answer a call.
To end a call, press key or close ip cover.
Tip: To mute incoming call without rejecting it, press increase or
decrease volume key located on the left side of the phone.
hDuring a call, you will see on screen next available options:
Dial new number ( ) Access the virtual keypad and dial a new number
during call.
Speaker ( ) Enter into/cancel speaker mode.
Mute ( ) Mute microphone on/o.
Hold ( ) Put current call on hold.
Phone book ( ) Search and call another contact.
hDuring a call, to record a conversation please press Left Soft key. The phone
will display Start recording. Press the central navigation key to conrm, a red
circle will start blinking on the screen. This means the phone is recording the
conversation. To stop recording, press again Left Soft key and then press the
central navigation key to select Stop recording. The recorded le will be saved
on SD card, in Phone record le. To access SD card content, please go to
Tools -> File Manager -> SD card.

Using Voicemail
To consult your voicemail (an answering machine), press and hold the key .
To set the voicemail number, press on the main screen, then choose Option ->
Settings -> Voice Call -> Voicemail to access the Setup menu. Type the Voicemail
number, and press OK to set the number (provided by your network operator).
6.2 Using Call History
The call history gives you access to the following information: All calls, Incoming calls,
Outgoing calls, Missed calls.
To delete a call log, go to the History menu. Press Left Soft key, the delete option will
appear, then press the central navigation key. Use the Up/Down/Left/Right keys to select
and check the call logs you want to delete, and select OK on the right upper corner of the
screen to delete.
Tips:
1.You can check the last incoming/outgoing or missed call by pressing
key.
2.When you want to delete calls from a long list of call log, it may take time
to scroll up to press OK key using keypad. In this case you can activate
the virtual mouse by long press on key 5 and select OK with virtual mouse.
Then again long press on key 5 to deactivate the virtual mouse and return
to the normal mode.
6.3 Using Phonebook (Contact Menu)
You can store contacts information in the Phonebook. Contacts can be saved both on the
SIM card and phone.
To access the Phonebook, press Contact on the main screen or enter the main menu and
select Contact menu. In the Contact menu, to access Favourite contact list ( ) menu,
press the Left key; to access Contact group menu ( ), press the Right key. To leave the
Contact menu, press .
Search
1. In the Contact menu, press Left Soft key, select Search using the navigation key. Press
the central navigation key to confirm. You will enter the search screen.
2. Use the numeric keys 2-9 to input the keywords for searching. The relevant Contact will
be listed on the screen.

To add a new contact
1. In the Contact menu, press Left Soft key, select Add Contact using the navigation key.
Press the central navigation key to confirm.
2. Choose where to store your contact (SIM card or phone). Press the central navigation
key to confirm.
3. Use the navigation key to select Name or Number. Enter information directly using the
keypad.
4. Use the central navigation key to go up and select Done option on the left top corner of
the screen to save the contact.
To add a new contact from the Call History
1. Go to History in the main menu.
2. Select the number you want to save with the navigation key. Press the central navigation
key to see available options.
3. Select Add to contacts and press the central navigation key.
4. Press Left Soft Key, select the pop-up Create new contact option and press the central
navigation key.
5. Choose where to store your contact. Press the central navigation key to confirm.
6. Enter information directly using the keypad. Select Done option on the left top corner of
the screen to save the contact.
To add a new contact by typing a new number
1. On the main screen, type the number you want to save.
2. Press the Up key to select Add to contacts, and then press the central navigation key.
3. Refer to the steps 4-6 in "To add a new contact from the Call History" on page 14 for the
following operation.
Delete a contact
1. In the Contact menu, press Left Soft key, select Delete Contact using the Down key.
Press the central navigation key to confirm.
2. Use navigation keys to select the contact you want to delete, press the central navigation
key to confirm, the contact is selected.
3. Press Left Soft key, select OK (select Cancel if stop deleting the contact; select Select
all if want to delete all contacts; select Deselect all to cancel all of the selection; Select
Search to search other contact), a dialogue box is popped out, use Right key to select
OK and press the central navigation key to confirm, the contact is deleted. If change your
mind, select Cancel and press central navigation key.
Select contacts to display
You can select the contacts stored in your SIM card or phone or both to be displayed on
the phone. You can also customize the contacts you want to display on the phone.
1. In the Contact menu, press Left Soft key, select Contacts to display using the
navigation key. Press the central navigation key to confirm, the display options are listed
out.
2. Use navigation keys to select the display options: All contacts (displays all contacts from
both SIM card and phone), WhatsApp (shows the WhatsApp contacts), Network provider
name (displays contacts stored in your SIM card), Phone contact (displays contacts
stored in your phone), Customize (Select to display contacts in a contact group or
display other contacts except the group contacts).

Import/Export phone contacts
You can copy contacts stored in your SIM card, SD card and phone storage to a phone
contact total list (called Phone contacts) respectively or export contacts from the phone
contact total list to the SIM card, SD card or phone storage.
1. In the Contact menu, press Left Soft key, select Import/Export using the navigation key.
Press the central navigation key to access the options menu.
Network provider name: contacts stored in the SIM card
SD card: contacts stored in the SD card
Phone contacts: total list of all contacts from all sources (SIM card/SD card/Phone
storage)
Phone storage: contacts stored in the phone.
2. Exporting contacts from Phone contacts (total contact list) to SIM card/SD card/
Phone storage. Use the Up key to select Phone contacts and press the central
navigation key to confirm. Then use the Down key to highlight NEXT and press the
central navigation key to access next step. Use Up key to select Network provider
name or SD card or Phone storage and press central navigation key to confirm. Then
select NEXT and press central navigation key to confirm, contacts are listed out, use Up/
Down keys to select the contacts and press navigation key to confirm. Then press Left
Soft key and select OK and press navigation key to confirm. Select OK on the pop-out
dialogue box and press central navigation key.
3. Exporting contacts from SIM card/SD card/Phone storage to Phone contacts (total
contacts list). Follow the similar instructions as step 2.
Share visible contacts
1. In the Contact menu, press Left Soft key, select Share visible contacts using the Down
key. Press the central navigation key to confirm, all contacts are displayed for selection.
2. Use Up/Down keys to select the contact you want to share and press central navigation
key to confirm. Press Left Soft key and select OK and press central navigation key
confirm, the sharing ways are displayed: BlueTooth, MMS, SD card, SMS and
WhatsApp. Follow the display tips to share the contact through these ways.
Add a favourite contact
In phone book interface select the contact you want to make favourite and enter it by
pressing central navigation key. Use Up key to select the star symbol on the upper of
the screen and press the central navigation key to conrm. The contact is added to your
favourite list successfully. In Contact menu, use Left/Right keys to select the star symbol
to access your favourite contact list to check the favourite contact.
Add a contact group
In contact group menu, Press Left Soft key and select Add Group, press central navigation
key to conrm and select the account of creating group between USIM (SIM card) and
phone contact, press central navigation key to conrm, input the group name and select
to access the phonebook. Select the contacts and press central navigation key to conrm,
then press Left Soft key and select OK, use Up key to select DONE and press the central
navigation key, the contact group is added successfully.
Block a contact
In the phone book select a contact and press central navigation key to access the
contact's page. Press Left Soft key and select Block incoming calls.

6.4 Writing and Sending Text or Multimedia Messages (SMS or
MMS)
Note: When sening a MMS, use navigation keys to select the green mark
()on the message editing screen to add a media le such as picture,
audio, video and slideshow as an attachment.
Write and send a message
1. Go to the main menu, and select the Messaging menu.
2. In the Messaging menu, press Left Soft Key, select New message using the navigation
key. Press the central navigation key to confirm.
3. Type the name or the number of the contact, to input the information of the receiver. To
input a phone number, you need to press # key to switch to number mode first.
4. You can also add existing contact from the Phonebook by pressing the “ ” symbol.
Select the contact and press the central navigation key, and then press Left Soft Key ->
OK to confirm. Once contacts are inserted, press Down key twice to go to the text field.
5. Enter your text using the keypad.
6. Use the left/right navigation key to access the symbol and send the message.
Enter text with the keypad
Use the numeric keys 2-9 to input characters. Once entering the text editting mode, the
phone is automatically switched to text editting mode.
Letters on the number keys are inserted according to the number of times the relevant key
is pressed.
For example, to type the name Paul, press:
1. Once on 7 for P
2. Once on 2 for A
3. Twice on 8 for U and
4. Three times on 5 for L
Press the 0 key to add a space. Press the Right Soft Key to delete letters. Press the
1 key repeatedly to access Apostrophes. Press the M2 key to switch entry modes (abc
or numbers). To insert special characters, press the M1 key and use the direction keys to
select the character you need and press central key to conrm, and use the M1 and M2
keys to switch between the 4 pages of dierent characters.
Add attachment in a text message
Contact, picture, audio, video, and slideshow can be sent as an attachment in a message.
To add an attachment, use the navigation key to select the green “ ”. Choose a le type
you want to send and press the central navigation key to conrm.

Notes:
If the list of contact, audio or video files etc. is too long, to speed up attachment adding
process, you can use the virtual mouse function.
All attachments EXCEPT contact can be deleted using the keypad. To delete the contact
attachment added, you need to use the virtual mouse. To enable the virtual mouse, press
and hold the number key 5 until the screen prompts "Virtual mouse opened". Once virtual
mouse activated, use the UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT keys to move the mouse and position
it on the X symbol and then press central navigation key to delete. Once done, long press
on key 5 again to turn OFF virtual mouse.
Manage messages
Note: The phone has no separate folders for sent and received messages. All
messages sent to or received from a certain contact are included together.
When you receive a new message, an alert is displayed on the main screen. Press View to
read it and reply directly in the pop-up window, or Close if you would like to read and reply
later.
Access the Messaging menu to consult messages. To access the submenu, press Left
Soft Key. Submenu include New message, Delete thread, Delete all threads, and
Settings (including Text Message (SMS), Multimedia Message (MMS), Notifications,
and General).
New message Write a new message.
Delete thread Delete a selected message.
Delete all threads Delete all received messages.
Settings Set up Text Message (SMS),
Multimedia Message (MMS), notications and go to
general message settings.
In settings submenus, you can set "Request delivery
report", "Edit quick text", "Manage SIM card
messages", "Group messaging", "request read
report", select "size limit" and "priority level", "Delete
old messages" etc.
6.5 Using Multimedia
Note: A memory card is required to use the multimedia functions. Up to
32 GB micro SD card is supported.

The Multimedia menu supports the following functions:
Camera Open the camera.
Gallery  Access the photos and screenshots stored on the phone and SD card.
Videos Access the videos stored on the phone and SD card.
Music Access the musics stored on the phone and SD card.
Recorder Open the audio recorder.
FM Radio Open the FM radio.
Camera
To access the camera, go to the Multimedia menu, then select Camera, or press on the
keypad directly (this shortcut is available only from main screen). Use the navigation key to
switch between photo and video mode. Use the central navigation key to take pictures or
record videos.
To take a screenshot of the phone, press and hold both the left and right soft keys for
several seconds.
Gallery, Videos, and Music
hPictures taken by the camera and screenshots are saved under the Gallery submenu. To
view them, go to the Multimedia menu, select Gallery, then select the folder you want
and press central key. You will see all the pictures of that folder. Select the picture you
want and press central key to see it on full screen. Then use Right/Left keys to switch
between pictures.
To delete a picture, enter a folder with pictures in Gallery submenu and press Left soft
key, MARK option is displayed, press central navigation key to access mark feature,
press again the highlighted picture is marked. Use navigation keys to select another
picture and press the central navigation key to mark. Then use navigation keys to select
the three points icon at the upper right corner of the screen, press once the central
navigation key, you can select all pictures or delete marked pictures.
To set wallpaper, share a picture or check details of a picture, when access a
single picture screen press Left Soft key, these options will be displayed and option
Set wallpaper is highlighted, press the central navigation key, the wallpaper is set
successfully with a prompt displayed. Use Down key to select Share, you can share the
picture though Facebook, BlueTooth, messaging and WhatsApp. Use Down key to
select Details, picture's information will be displayed.
hVideos are saved under the Videos submenu and music are saved under Music
submenu.
To play a video, go to the Multimedia menu and use navigation keys to select Videos
and press central navigation key to access the videos folder. Then use Up/Down keys to
select a video and press central navigation key to play the selected video.
To play music, go to the Multimedia menu and use navigation keys to select Music and
press central navigation key to access the music playlists. Then use Up/Down keys to
select a music folder and press central navigation key to open and select a music file to
play.
Recorder
Tip: Sound recorder allows you to record audio in AMR format.

hWhile in Sound recorder menu, press Left Soft Key to see available options:
Voice quality Set the voice quality
Recording mode Set the recording mode
In Multimedia menu, press central navigation key to access the Recorder. Press central
navigation key again, the recording starts. Use Left/Right keys to select Pause ( ) or Stop
( ) the recording.
When recording is paused, select the recording button ( ) to resume the recording.
When recording is stopped, use navigation keys to select Discard to delete the recorded
file or select Save and press central navigation key to save the recorded file. To access
the recorded files list, use Left/Right key to select the recorded files icon ( ) and press
the central navigation key. Use Up key to select a recorded file and press the central
navigation key to start playing.
To record again, select the recording icon ( ) and press the central navigation key.
FM Radio
Note: An earphone is required to use the radio function. The earphone
functions as an antenna.
The phone also supports FM radio function. To listen to the radio, go to the FM Radio
submenu. Press Left Soft Key, select Search to search available channels, and select
one channel to play. Use the control keys at the bottom to play/pause, or switch between
dierent channels.
Channel list Access the FM radio channel list.
Search Enter to search for FM radio channels. The searched radio
channels will be stored in Channel list automatically.
Speaker Enable or disable the speaker (only works when earphone is
plugged in.)
Record FM Access to record a broadcasting FM radio program.
Exit Exit the submenu.
6.6 Connecting to Wi-Fi or Data Connection
If you want to use WhatsApp®, Facebook®, or Brower function on the phone, connect
your phone to a Wi-Fi network or activate the Data connection rst.
hTo connect to a Wi-Fi network, go to Settings -> Wi- Fi ->Activate the Wi-Fi by pressing
the ON/OFF slide switch (I = ON, O = OFF). Select from a list of the available network,
input the Password and then press Connect.
Note: The use of Data service can generate data transfer costs. Ensure that
your network provider supports Data transfer.
hTo enable the Data connection, go to Settings -> SIM Management -> Data
connection. Select the Network providers with the central navigation key. The Data
connection is enabled.

6.7 Using WhatsApp
Note: A memory card is required to use the WhatsApp functions.
Ensure that your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi or a Data connection. Refer to paragraph
"6.6 Connecting to Wi-Fi or Data Connection" on page 19 for more information.
To access WhatsApp, use the main menu, or press key on the keypad when the phone
is on the main screen.
Set a WhatsApp account
When you open WhatsApp for the rst time, you need to set your account rst. To set your
account, do the following:
1. Press “AGREE AND CONTINUE”. Check that the green box is shaded, this means you
have well selected this option.
2. Input your phone number by using the keypad and press NEXT. As WhatsApp is
making often updates of its Application, at this stage the phone may ask you to update
WhatsApp version. Please refer to paragraph "6.8 How to update WhatsApp". Once
WhatsApp updated, start again to set your account from step 1.
3. Press OK to confirm your number.
4. Wait for a few seconds to receive a message from WhatsApp with your code. The code
will be detected automatically by the phone, no need to input manually.
5. If the phone number you input has already registered to a WhatsApp account, it will
prompt to ask if you want to Restore your previsous messages and media. Press
Restore if you want to restore. Press Skip if you don’t want to restore.
6. Enter your profile name and press NEXT.
The WhatsApp features are ready for use now.
To chat with WhatsApp
To make a phone/video call, modify your status or send a voice message or an
attachment via WhatsApp, you need to activate the virtual mouse by pressing and
holding number key 5. If you never used WhatsApp before your chat list will be empty. To
start a new chat please activate virtual mouse and select the green message icon ( ) just
near the "Start a chat->". The phone will show you the list of contacts from your
Phonebook which also use WhatsApp application. Select with the virtual mouse the
contact you want to chat with and start typing your message.
