TO START
1. Installing the SIM card(s)
NOTICE: Your phone is a dual SIM model, so it can support two SIM cards at the same time.
Switch off your mobile phone. The slots for the SIM card are located on the back of the phone. Follow the
diagram below to install the SIM card(s). Make sure that the SIM card’s contacts are facing inwards and
the cut off corner is pointing downwards. If no SIM card is inserted or if the SIM card is damaged, the
screen will say “Insert SIM”.
To remove the SIM card(s), push on the card and slide it out.
2. Installing the memory card
To install the micro-SD card (if you have one), open the back cover to take out the battery. Release the
card lock, insert the card into the slot, and replace the card lock and battery before restarting the mobile
phone.
NOTE: SIM cards and micro-SD cards are small objects, so keep them out of the reach of children.
3. Installing the battery
This mobile phone is suitable for the original accessories and battery.
Install the battery by sliding it into the battery compartment with the contacts facing downwards to the
right, in order to prevent the battery contact surface from being damaged. Then, replace the back cover.

4. Charging the battery
To charge the battery, connect the micro-USB connector to the phone charging port and the adaptor to a
wall socket. The icon is displayed once the battery is fully charged. You can then disconnect the
charger from the phone and from the wall socket.
WARNING: When a travel charger and its accessories are used to charge the battery, please check first
whether they have been made or approved by the manufacturer. Using other accessories can damage
your mobile phone and present a risk. Always use them indoors and in dry places.
Avoid discarding the battery by burning as this can cause a fire. Damaged batteries can cause an
explosion. Refer to the safety instructions concerning the detailed battery use precautions.
5. Turning on the phone
Press and hold the red button for three seconds to turn the phone on, then enter your PIN code.
Repeat the process to turn your phone off.

HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE
If you are using the phone for the first time, you will be automatically prompted to choose your language
when you switch on the device. Scroll through the list of languages, choose your language and confirm by

HOW TO SET THE TIME AND DATE
If you are using the phone for the first time, you will be automatically prompted to set the time and date.

Change the format
Ø In this option, change the date and time display format. The

is in 24-hour format by default.
Use Options to select this value and modify the display. It is possible to use the American 12-hour
format.

format. The default format is DD MM YYYY. Use Options to
select this value and choose your desired format from the list.
USING THE KEYPAD TO ENTER TEXT
To enter words with the keypad, press the letter key until the desired character is displayed.
E.g: to type the letter N, press the 6 key twice; to type the number two, press the 2 key four times.
To
enter a space
between two words, press the 0 key.
To type in uppercase letters, press the key to change the
entry mode
. You can check the entry
mode in the upper right hand corner.
To type a
special character
(comma, full stop, hyphen, etc.), press the 1 key until the desired character is
displayed.
You may also press the keyboard key to access the
special characters list

HOW TO ACCESS AND USE THE ADDRESS BOOK
Contacts can be saved on the SIM card, on the phone or both.
To access the phonebook from the main screen, press
Menu
then select
Contacts.
From the phone's main screen, access the phonebook directly by pressing
Contacts.
Quick search
Once in the Contacts menu, start typing a name to
find a contact
. The letters are automatically entered
into the search line and all the corresponding contacts are displayed.

When you highlight a contact in the phonebook, the following options are available:

To modify a contact
Select the contact that you would like to
edit.
Press the centre button twice. Select if you would like to edit
the name or number, and press the centre key again. Edit the contact's name or number using the
keypad, then press
OK
to confirm your entry.
To delete a contact
1. Select the contact you would like to
delete

Please note that by deleting the number, the contact will be permanently erased.

Abbreviated numbers
Abbreviated numbers are contacts that you dial the most often or to whom you would like to have quick
access. You can assign a contact number to the keypad keys (keys 2-9).
The number that is registered can then be dialled by pressing and holding the key that is attributed to it.
Start by

Creating a group of contacts
You can create a group of contacts. Group contacts together to send a message to all members at the

You can create a New group, send a Group message, edit the Group name or Reject the group
3. To view a group, press the centre key to display group members, and Options to manage the group's
contacts
HOW TO MAKE/ANSWER A CALL
To make a call
In standby mode, use the keypad to enter the desired number and press to make the call. You
can also call a number registered in your Address book. Please refer to the section "How to access and
use the phonebook" for the procedure to call a contact from the phonebook.
NOTE: to use the loudspeaker during a call, press
Hands-free
to the right of the screen to activate it.
Press the same key to turn off the loudspeaker.

To answer a call
Press the key to answer a call. Press the red button to reject the call and transfer it to your
voicemail. Press this key to end the call.
Once the call is connected, the following options will be available:
During the conversation, press Options to view the list of options:
Put on hold
Put the current call on hold
Silent mode
Turn the microphone on/off

Access the phonebook

HOW TO CONSULT THE LISTS OF CALLS?
Go to the
Call log
menu to see the list of your calls.
Call log
You can browse the call list:
Missed, Dialled

Received
, and
Rejected
.
The following options are available for each of these lists:

Display the number, date and time of the call,

Call the displayed number

Send a message to the number
Add to contacts

VOICEMAIL
To consult your voicemail (answering machine), press and hold the key .
If your SIM card does not recognize the Voicemail number, press and hold the keys . You will be
asked to "First choose the voicemail number". Select

to change the number (provided by your
network operator).

READING AND WRITING TEXT MESSAGES
In the
Message
menu, you can consult, send and receive your text messages. When you receive a new
message, the icon is displayed. Press
Read
to view the message. You will access the
Inbox
menu,
where all received messages are stored.
To read your messages, go to

Personalize several settings for the camera. Your options are "Size", "Quality",
"Anti-flicker", "Sound", "Auto save", "Memory" and "Continuous shooting."

Video mode
In video mode, you are ready to take a video. The picture is displayed on the screen Press the

Personalize several settings for video mode. Your options are: "Size", "Anti-
flicker", "Audio", "Video format" and "Memory". Press

AUDIO
To play audio files on the audio player, download your choice of MP3 files from the memory card's audio
folder into one of the music lists. To do this, select

, followed by

. Choose the list to
which you would like to add MP3 files and press the centre key. Then select

Using the centre key, select the files you would like to add to the list

Only MP3, AMR, WAV and
MIDI audio files are supported.

In this sub-menu you have a

to record audio files. You must install a memory card in order to use these functions.

FM RADIO
Your phone has FM radio reception. To listen to the radio, connect the headphones, go to the Main menu
and then select the
Multimedia
sub-menu to choose
FM radio
. The available stations are automatically
found (the exhaustive list of channels is in Options).
In the FM radio, use the centre key on the keypad to use the following options:

When you access the video player, the phone automatically searches for available videos. Press the left
key to display the possible options:
Local playback list
View the list of videos available
Random play
Shuffle the files
Repeat
Repeat the file playing or Repeat all files
Settings
Choose the playback mode or reset the default settings
Details
View details about the file selected
Exit
Stop playback and exit the video player
In the video player, use the keypad centre key to access the following options:

View the list of all the recorded files
Memory
Select whether you would like to use the phone's memory or SD card to
store files

Select AMR or WAV quality for the recording
In the list of saved files, the following options are available:

Create a new folder for recordings
Set as ringtone
Use the recording as a ringtone for incoming calls or as an alarm tone
Send via Bluetooth
Send the selected recording via Bluetooth

phone. You can switch between memories using the centre key by pressing on the left or right.
The list of your folders in the location is displayed. The options are as follows:

Delete the selected folder/file

Display the date and size of the selected folder/file
Rename
Rename the selected folder/file
Copy
Create a copy of the selected folder/file
Find
Search for a folder/file
Sort
Sort the folders/files by name, time, size or type

Tick one or more folders/files

View the capacity and manage memory
To create a new folder

TOOLS
The tools available are: Alarm, Bluetooth, Calculator, Calendar, World clock, Timer and E-book.
Alarm
You can use your phone as an alarm and set up to three different alarms. Press
Menu

Alarm
. You can activate one or more alarms. When the mobile phone is off, the alarm clock can still
work if the battery is sufficiently charged.
To set an alarm:
1. Select
the alarm
that you would like to set. Press the centre key to access the options
2. There are four options:
On the first line: directly edit the name of the alarm using the phone keypad. Press
OK
to confirm.
Time: set the time by entering the numbers with the keypad.

Ringtone: you can choose between four pre-recorded

You can establish a Bluetooth connection with another Bluetooth peripheral device. This mobile phone is
equipped with Bluetooth® version 2.1 and can therefore encounter some difficulties connecting to other
peripheral devices with a higher version.

To open an e-book, search for it in the phone's external memory folders where you previously saved it.
PROFILES
Manage the phone's sound profile. You can use six different sound profiles: Standard, Silent, Indoor,
Outdoor, Earpiece and Bluetooth. You can also create your own profiles.
Profiles can be activated/deactivated or personalized in this menu. Silent mode switches off all sounds. To
activate a profile, select it and press the centre key.

Choose to activate one SIM only, both SIMs at the same time or neither SIM

Change the time, date, language or shortcuts, and manage the phone's automatic
on/off function
Screen
Edit the screen options: wallpaper, lock screen, contrast, backlighting, keypad
backlighting.
Security
Manage the SIM card passwords, configure and lock the phone and manage the
blacklist
Connection
Consult the settings related to your mobile service provider
Restore factory
