PIN # - The PIN number is needed for calibrations and programming.
1 First press and release the on.off button (one star on the screen).
2 Then press and release the enter button (two stars).
3 Then press and release the dollar sign button (three stars).
4 Then press and release enter button.
Calibrating the Cup
Taring the Cup (TCup)
1 Start at the 1 cent cup (Note: if you are already into a count then just press and release the bottom of the coin
button until it shows "Cup One Cent").
2 Press and release the Menu button.
3 Using the Bill button, press and release the bottom of the button until it highlights "New Cup".
4 Press and release the Enter button.
5 The screen will prompt you to put an empty cup on the HOD.
On/ O $ Menu Enter

6 Put an Empty Register Cup on the HOD. The Tellermate will say Thank You and return to the menu.
7 Take the cup off the HOD. Press and release the End button to return to the Cup One Cent screen.
Calibrating a Coin (Do not calibrate pennies)
1 Start at the Select Task Menu or the One Cent Cup.
2 Press and release the Menu button.
3 Options will be highlighted, press Enter.
4 Press and release the Menu button.
5 Enter the PIN number.
a) First press and release the on.off button (one star on the screen).
b) Then press and release the enter button (two stars).
c) Then press and release the dollar sign button (three stars).
d) Then press and release enter button.
On/ O $ Menu Enter

6 Setup/ Calibrate will be highlighted, press and release the Enter button.
7 Using the Bill button highlight Coins. Press and release the Enter button.
8 Press the Wrap button once and this will display the coin denomination on the left and the coin weights on
the right hand side. Display will say "Calibrate Coins" on top pf the screen.
9 Press and release the Enter button.
10 The screen will say "Put Container on HOD".
11 Set an Empty Register Cup/ Container on the HOD.
12 The screen will prompt for Ten Coins.
13 Drop Ten of the Coins at One Time into the empty cup/ container. Press and release Enter.
14 The screen will then say Put Five to 10 More Coins on the HOD.
a) Continue with increments of five coins intil the Tellermate beeps and displays the message
Save or Abandon.
b) (Note) If you run out of increments of five coins then remove the cup from the HOD.
15 After removing the cup with coins from the HOD, the screen will then come up with a prompt to either
Save New Weight or Abandon. Be sure and scroll up using the Bills button to highlight Save New Weight.
Then Press the Enter button to save the new weight.
16 When finished press and release End button 5 times until you get to the Select Task screen.
Calibrating a Bill
1 Start at the Select Task menu or the Dollar Bill screen.
2 Press and release the Menu button.
3 Options will be highlighted. Press and release the Enter button.
4 Press and release the Bill button to highlight Supervisor. Then press and release the Enter button.

5 Enter the PIN number.
a) First press and release the on.off button (one star on the screen).
b) Then press and release the enter button (two stars).
c) Then press and release the dollar sign button (three stars).
d) Then press and release enter button.
6 Setup/ Calibrate will be highlighted, press and release the Enter button.
7 Bills will be highlighted. Press and release the Enter button one time.
8 Use the Bills button to highlight the bill that needs calibrated.
9 Press the Wrap button once. The display will be on the Calibrate Bills screen. The display will show the
denomination on the left side of the screen and the weights on the left. (Figure 5)
10 Press and release the Enter button
11 The screen will prompt for 10 bills on the HOD. (Figure 6)

12 After putting ten bills on the HOD, press and release the Enter button.
13 The screen will prompt to add five to ten more bills on the HOD.
a) Continue with increments of five bills until the screen displays the message Calibration Completed.
b) Save New Weight will be highlighted, press Enter. The screen will say Clear HOD Then Remove Bills.
14 (Note) If you run out of increments of five bills, them remove the money form the HOD. The display will say
Save New Weight or Abandon. Highlight Save New Weight then press and release Enter. (Figure 7)
15 When finished, press and release End until you get to the Select Task screen.
Turning on the Printer in Program
1 Start on the One Cent display in the function you want to print from.
2 Press and release the Menu button.
3 Options is highlighted, press and release the Enter button.
4 Press and release the Bill button until the Printer Option is highlighted.
5 Press and release the Enter button.
6 In the Setup Printer screen, press the Menu button to give the Printer a " " which turns the printer on. To
turn it off press and release the Menu button until you get an "X" on the screen.
7 Press and release the End button three times.

How to Set a Bank
1 Start at the Select Task menu or One Cent Display.
2 Press and release the Menu button.
3 Options will be highlighted, press and release the Enter button.
4 Set Banks is highlighted, press and release Enter.
5 There are four banks to choose from.
6 To increase the bank from the current setting press and release the Black "$" button under the Plus (+) Sign
on the bottom of the screen.
7 To decrease the bank amount, press and release the Red "On/Off" button.
8 When finished, just press and release the End button Three times.
Enable Auto Add/ Scroll
1 Start at the One Cent Cup in the function you want to make the Auto Add turned on.
2 The screen will display four options.
3 Using the Bill button highlight the Auto Scroll option

4 The Auto Add should have a " " Instead of an "X" on the right side of the display.
5 Use Menu button to toggle between a " " and "X"
6 The " " means the feature is turned on and the "X" means the feature is turned off.
7 Press and release End until you get the Select Task menu.
