loved one a helping hand
Congratulations on your choice of TENA SmartCare
Change Indicator™, a digital solution that helps you know when
to change incontinence product. It has been designed to track
the urine saturation level in the product and communicate
this data to your phone. That way you do not need to feel
that you constantly have to check the incontinence product.
Thanks to the combination of the latest technology and
state-of-the-art absorbent products, there’ll be less need for
manual checks – and more time for what matters most.
Ensure that you have read and understood the Instruction for
Use before using the TENA SmartCare Change Indicator system.
The Change Indicator is designed to support you by helping you decide
when it is best to change absorbent products without frequent manual checks.
However, it should never replace your own judgement.

DOWNLOAD APP AND REGISTER
Download the TENA SmartCare™ app from
App Store or Google Play and then register
your account.
INVITE OTHER CAREGIVERS
Invite others who care for your loved one.
This will give them access to the app.
REGISTER CODE
You nd the code inside the
transmitter and on the side of
the transmitter box.
Follow app instructions for
system setup.

Apply the TENA product
on your loved one

product. It probably still
feels dry to the skin, but you
should consider change.

Using the Change Indicator

In case of an error notication or other concern, please revert to your normal
check and change routine and consult the Instruction for Use for more information.
Press both buttons
for 2 seconds

Only clean when assembled.
Clean once weekly or as required.
Use a disinfectant wipe and/or
disinfectant spray to clean the
Change Indicator.
Remove Change Indicator before
removing TENA product.
Start from the top, pull down gently.
Put Change Indicator on at surface
when not in use.
