Introduction
TI-RSLK MAX (robotics system learning kit) is a low-cost
robotics kit whose objective is to teach a wide variety of
hands-on lab scenarios. The scenarios include embedded
systems, first-year engineering design, intro to robotics,
mechatronics, controls, IoT and connectivity, and machine
learning.
The newest addition to the TI-RSLK MAX is a DSP Adapter
Board that expands the learning kit's capabilities to include
labs related to Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
This DSP Adapter Board makes the TI-RSLK MAX compatible
with the LAUNCHXL-F28379D C2000 Delfino MCU F28379D
LaunchPad™ development kit and the BOOSTXL-AUDIO
Audio Signal Processing BoosterPack Plug-In Module.
The DSP Adapter Kit includes the drivers required to interact
smoothly with the motors, tachometers, bumper switches, and
LEDs from the TI-RSLK Chassis as well as drivers to output
and input sound through the BOOSTXL-AUDIO Audio Signal
Processing Booster Pack speaker and microphone.
The Kit includes a software development package with
examples displaying the FFT function from the DSP
Launchpad, UART Communication between the DSP
Launchpad and the EMIC 2 Text to Speech development
board.
