• Das Produkt ist ausschließlich für den oben beschriebenen Einsatzbereich geeignet.
Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht anders, als in dieser Anleitung dargestellt wird.
Vorsicht!
Lebensgefahr durch Stromschlag!
• Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose mit
einer geeigneten Netzspannung an (siehe Typenschild).
• Die Steckdose muss nahe der Einrichtung angebracht und leicht zugänglich sein.
• Ziehen Sie sofort den Stecker aus der Steckdose, wenn eine Störung auftritt.
• Das Gerät und das Netzteil dürfen nicht mit Wasser oder Feuchtigkeit in Kontakt
kommen. Nur für den Betrieb in trockenen Innenräumen geeignet.
• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn Gehäuse oder Netzteil beschädigt sind.
• Betreiben Sie das Gerät außerhalb der Reichweite von Personen (auch Kindern), die
mögliche Gefahren im Umgang mit elektrischen Geräten nicht richtig einschätzen
können.
• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich das mitgelieferte Netzteil.
• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nicht am Kabel aus der Steckdose.
• Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass es nicht mit scharfkantigen oder heißen
Gegenständen in Berührung kommt.

WARNUNG!
Verletzungsgefahr:
• Halten Sie die Geräte und die Batterien außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern.
• Kleinteile können von Kindern (unter drei Jahren) verschluckt werden.
• Batterien enthalten gesundheitsschädliche Säuren und können bei Verschlucken
lebensgefährlich sein. Wurde eine Batterie verschluckt, kann dies innerhalb von 2
Stunden zu schweren inneren Verätzungen und zum Tode führen. Wenn Sie vermu-
ten, eine Batterie könnte verschluckt oder anderweitig in den Körper gelangt sein,
nehmen Sie sofort medizinische Hilfe in Anspruch.
• Batterien nicht ins Feuer werfen, kurzschließen, auseinandernehmen oder aufladen.
Explosionsgefahr!
• Um ein Auslaufen der Batterien zu vermeiden, sollten schwache Batterien mög-
lichst schnell ausgetauscht werden. Achten Sie auf die richtige Polarität beim Einle-
gen der Batterien. Verwenden Sie nie gleichzeitig alte und neue Batterien oder Bat-
terien unterschiedlichen Typs. Entfernen Sie die Batterien, wenn Sie das Gerät
längere Zeit nicht verwenden. Sollte eine Batterie ausgelaufen sein, vermeiden Sie
Kontakt mit Haut, Augen und Schleimhäuten. Spülen Sie ggf. umgehend die betrof-
fenen Stellen mit Wasser und suchen Sie einen Arzt auf.
ACHTUNG
• Das eigenmächtige Reparieren, Umbauen oder Verändern des Gerätes ist nicht
gestattet.
• Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen extremen Temperaturen, Vibrationen und Erschütte-
rungen aus.
• Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, leicht feuchten Tuch. Keine Scheuer-
oder Lösungsmittel verwenden!
• Der Sender ist spritzwassergeschützt, aber nicht wasserdicht.

5. Inbetriebnahme
5.1 Inbetriebnahme des Senders
• Legen Sie die Basisstation und den Außensender in einem Abstand von ca.
1,5 Metern voneinander auf einen Tisch. Vermeiden Sie die Nähe zu möglichen
Störquellen (elektronische Geräte und Funkanlagen).
• Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach des Außensenders und legen Sie zwei neue Batterien
1,5 V AA polrichtig ein. Alle LCD-Segmente werden kurz angezeigt.
• Die Temperatur erscheint auf dem Display. Der Schiebeschalter ist auf Kanal 1 ein-
gestellt. Kanal 2 + 3 sind für dieses Modell nicht nutzbar.
• Schließen Sie das Batteriefach wieder.
5.2 Inbetriebnahme des Projektionsweckers
• Der Projektionswecker kann mit 3 x 1,5 V AAA Batterien (nicht inklusive) betrieben
werden. Die Batterien erhalten bei Stromausfall die Funktion der Uhrzeit aufrecht,
damit keine Neueinstellung vorgenommen werden muss. Im reinen Batteriebetrieb
wird die Beleuchtung mit der SNOOZE/LIGHT Taste und die Projektion mit der Pro-
jection HIGH/LOW/OFF Taste kurz aktiviert. Für eine dauerhafte Displaybeleuchtung
und Projektion und um die Leistungsdauer der Batterien zu verlängern, verwenden
Sie bitte den mitgelieferten Netzstecker.
• Klappen Sie den Projektionsarm aus. Stecken Sie den Anschlussstecker in den
Anschluss und schließen Sie das Gerät mit dem Netzstecker am Stromnetz an.
• Das Gerät ist jetzt betriebsbereit.
• Ein Signalton ertönt und alle Segmente werden kurz angezeigt.
• Optional: Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach und legen Sie drei neue Batterien 1,5 V AAA
polrichtig ein. Schließen Sie das Batteriefach wieder.
5.3 Empfang des Außensenders
• Die Basisstation versucht nun, die Außentemperatur zu empfangen. Auf dem Dis-
play der Außentemperatur erscheint „--,-” und das Funksignal-Symbol blinkt.
• Bei erfolgreichem Empfang werden die Außentemperatur und das Empfangssym-
bol ständig auf dem Display der Basisstation angezeigt.
• Wird die Außentemperatur nicht empfangen, prüfen Sie die Batterien und starten
Sie einen weiteren Versuch. Ist kein Empfang möglich, erscheint nach drei Minuten
„NO”.
• Sie können die Sendersuche auch manuell starten (z.B. bei Verlust des Sender-
signals oder Batteriewechsel). Halten Sie die + Taste auf der Basisstation für zwei
Sekunden gedrückt. Das Funkempfangssymbol für den Außensender blinkt.
Funk-Projektionswecker 
• Drücken Sie nun die TX Taste im Batteriefach des Senders. Die Übertragung der
Daten erfolgt sofort und bei erfolgreichem Empfang wird die Außentemperatur auf
der Basisstation angezeigt.
• Wenn nach erfolgreichem Empfang der Kontakt zwischen Sender und Empfänger
zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt verloren geht, erscheint nach 30 Minuten statt der
Außentemperatur „NO”. Der Empfang wird zu jeder Stunde erneut aktiviert.
5.4 Empfang des Funkuhrsignals
• Nach dem Empfang der Außenwerte versucht die Uhr nun, das Funkuhrsignal zu
empfangen und das DCF-Funkempfangszeichen blinkt.
• Wenn der Zeitcode nach 3-10 Minuten empfangen wurde, werden die funkgesteu-
erte Zeit und das DCF-Funkempfangszeichen ständig im Display angezeigt. Wird
das Funkuhrsignal nicht empfangen, wird der Empfang alle zwei Stunden erneut
aktiviert.
• Der DCF-Funkempfang findet täglich automatisch um 1:00, 2:00 Uhr und 3:00 mor-
gens statt. War der Funkempfang nicht erfolgreich, so finden um 4:00 und 5:00
Uhr früh weitere Funkempfangsversuche statt.
• Sie können den DCF-Funkempfang auch manuell aktivieren. Drücken Sie im Nor-
malmodus kurz die SET Taste. Das DCF-Empfangszeichen blinkt.
• Drücken Sie noch einmal die SET Taste, ist der Empfangsvorgang beendet. Das
DCF-Empfangszeichen verschwindet.
• Es gibt drei verschiedene Empfangssymbole:
blinkt – Empfang aktiv
bleibt stehen – Empfang erfolgreich
kein Symbol – kein Empfang
• Falls die Funkuhr kein DCF-Signal empfangen kann (z.B. wegen Störungen, Über-
tragungsdistanz, etc.), kann die Zeit auch manuell eingestellt werden.
• Die Uhr arbeitet dann wie eine normale Quarz-Uhr (siehe „Manuelle Einstellun-
gen”).
Hinweis: Empfang der Funkzeit
• Die Zeitübertragung erfolgt von einer Atomuhr in der Nähe von Frankfurt am Main
durch ein DCF-77 (77.5 kHz) Frequenzsignal mit einer Reichweite von ca. 1.500 km.
Ihre Funkuhr empfängt das Signal, wandelt es um und zeigt immer die exakte Zeit an.
Auch die Umstellung von Sommer- und Winterzeit erfolgt automatisch.
• Vermeiden Sie die Nähe zu möglichen Störquellen, die den Funkempfang beeinträch-
tigen können (siehe „Standortwahl und Montage”).
• Nachts sind die atmosphärischen Störungen meist geringer. Ein einziger Empfang
pro Tag genügt, um die Genauigkeit (±1 Sekunde) zu gewährleisten.

6. Bedienung
6.1 Manuelle Einstellungen
• Halten Sie die +oder –Taste im Einstellmodus gedrückt, gelangen Sie in den
Schnelllauf.
• Drücken Sie die SNOOZE/LIGHT Taste, um den Einstellmodus zu verlassen. Das
Gerät verlässt automatisch den Einstellmodus, wenn länger als 10 Sekunden keine
Taste gedrückt wird. Das Gerät übernimmt dann automatisch die bisher getätigten
Einstellungen.
6.2 Manuelle Einstellung von Uhrzeit und Kalender
• Halten Sie die SET Taste für drei Sekunden gedrückt, um in den Einstellmodus zu
gelangen.
• Die Spracheinstellung (Voreinstellung: DEUTSCH) blinkt im Display.
• Mit der +oder – Taste können Sie die Spracheinstellung DEUTSCH, ENGLISH,
ESPANOL, FRANCAIS wählen, solange die Anzeige blinkt.
• Durch Drücken der SET Taste bestätigen Sie die Einstellung und gelangen zum
nächsten Wert.
• Haben Sie DEUTSCH bestätigt, erscheint die Anzeige weiterhin auf Deutsch.
• Die Reihenfolge ist nun wie folgt:
– Tastentöne (Voreinstellung PIEP AUS)
– DCF Empfang (Voreinstellung: DCF AN)
– Zeitzone -12/+12 (Voreinstellung: 00)
– Stunden, Minuten
– Jahr, Monat, Tag
– Datumsformat TAG/MONAT oder MONAT/TAG (Voreinstellung TAG/MONAT)
6.2.1 Tastentöne
• Im Einstellungsmodus können Sie mit der +oder –Taste die Tastentöne aktivieren
(PIEP AN) oder deaktivieren (PIEP AUS).
6.2.2 DCF-Funkempfang
• Standardgemäß ist der DCF-Empfang aktiviert (DCF AN) und nach erfolgreichem
Empfang des DCF-Funksignals ist keine manuelle Zeiteinstellung erforderlich.
• Drücken Sie im Einstellungsmodus die +oder –Taste, wenn Sie den DCF-Funk-
empfang deaktivieren wollen (DCF AUS).
• Das DCF-Empfangssymbol verschwindet.
• Bei deaktiviertem Empfang müssen Sie die Uhrzeit manuell einstellen. Es erscheint
keine Zeitzone.
• Ist der DCF-Funkuhrempfang aktiviert, wird bei erfolgreichem Empfang die manuell
eingestellte Zeit überschrieben.

6.2.3 Einstellung Zeitzone
• Die Zeitzoneneinstellung wird benötigt, wenn das DCF Signal empfangen werden
kann, die Zeitzone sich aber von der DCF Zeit unterscheidet (z.B. +1=eine Stunde
später).
• Sie können mit der +oder –Taste die Korrektur der Stunden (+12/-12) zur DCF-
Zeit vornehmen.
6.3 Umschalten Wahlanzeige
• Mit der CALENDAR Taste können Sie im Normalmodus die Anzeige umschalten:
– Ausgeschriebener Wochentag
– Wochentag (3 Ziffern) mit Datum
– Alarmzeit
7. Weckalarm
7.1 Einstellung der Alarmzeit
• Halten Sie die ALARM Taste für drei Sekunden gedrückt, um in den Einstellmodus
zu gelangen. Das Alarmsymbol und ALARM erscheinen im Display.
• Die Stundenanzeige blinkt.
• Stellen Sie mit der +oder –Taste die gewünschte Zeit ein.
• Bestätigen Sie mit der ALARM Taste.
• Geben Sie auf gleiche Weise die Minuten ein.
• Bestätigen Sie mit der ALARM Taste.
• Im Display erscheinen die aktuelle Uhrzeit und das Alarmsymbol.
• In der Wahlanzeige erscheint die neu eingestellte Alarmzeit.
• Der Alarm ist aktiviert.
7.2 Aktivieren und Deaktivieren des Weckalarms
• Um die Alarm-Funktion zu deaktivieren und zu aktivieren, drücken Sie ALARM Taste
im Normalmodus.
• Die zuletzt eingestellte Weckzeit erscheint für 2 Sekunden im Display.
• Bei aktiviertem Alarm erscheinen das Alarmsymbol und ALARM AN.
• Bei deaktiviertem Alarm erscheint ALARM AUS.
• Um die Eingabe zu bestätigen, warten Sie kurz, bis die Anzeige wieder in den Nor-
malmodus zurückkehrt.
• Bei aktiviertem Alarm beginnt der Wecker zu klingeln, wenn die eingestellte Weck-
zeit erreicht ist. Das Alarmsymbol blinkt.

• Der Alarm wird für die Dauer von 10 Minuten unterbrochen. Das Snooze-Symbol
blinkt auf dem Display.
• Drücken Sie auf eine beliebige Taste (außer der SNOOZE/LIGHT Taste) und der
Alarm wird beendet. GUTEN TAG erscheint kurz im Display.
• Das Alarmsymbol bleibt im Display stehen.
8. Projektion und Beleuchtung
Hinweis: Die Displaybeleuchtung und Projektion im Dauerbetrieb funktionieren
nur mit Netzstecker.
8.1 Projektion
• Halten Sie die Projection HIGH/LOW/OFF Taste für drei Sekunden gedrückt, um in
den Einstellmodus zu gelangen.
• Die erste Option blinkt im Display.
• Wählen Sie mit der +oder –Taste die gewünschte Einstellung, solange die Anzeige
blinkt.
• Durch Drücken der Projection HIGH/LOW/OFF Taste bestätigen Sie die Einstellung
oder warten Sie kurz, bis die Anzeige wieder in den Normalmodus zurückkehrt.
• Die Reihenfolge ist wie folgt:
– ZEIT Uhrzeit
– IN TEMP Innentemperatur
– OUT TEMP Außentemperatur
– ZEIT/TEMP Uhrzeit/Innentemperatur/Außentemperatur im Wechsel
• Sie können mit der Projection HIGH/LOW/OFF Taste die Projektion in 2 Helligkeits-
stufen einstellen oder ausschalten.
• Ist die Projektion eingeschaltet, erscheint die zuletzt ausgewählte Anzeige und das
Alarmsymbol (bei aktiviertem Alarm) auf der Wand oder der Decke.
• Bringen Sie den Projektionsarm in die gewünschte Position.
• Mit dem ROTATE Einstellrad können Sie das Bild um 270° drehen.
•Batteriebetrieb: Zum kurzzeitigen Aktivieren der Projektion drücken Sie die Pro-
jection HIGH/LOW/OFF Taste.
8.2 Displaybeleuchtung
• Sie können mit der SNOOZE/LIGHT Taste die Helligkeit in 4 Stufen (LICHT 1-4) ein-
stellen oder ausschalten (AUS).
• Um die Eingabe zu bestätigen, warten Sie kurz, bis die Anzeige wieder in den Nor-
malmodus zurückkehrt.
•Batteriebetrieb: Zum kurzzeitigen Aktivieren der Hintergrundbeleuchtung drücken
Sie die SNOOZE/LIGHT Taste.

8.2.1 Modus automatische Dimmfunktion
• Ist die automatische Dimmfunktion aktiviert, schaltet sich für den eingestellten
Zeitraum automatisch die schwache Displaybeleuchtung (LICHT 1) an. Danach
geht die Beleuchtung auf Stufe 4.
• Halten Sie die SNOOZE/LIGHT Taste für 2 Sekunden gedrückt. AUTO DIM erscheint
auf dem Display.
• Standardgemäß ist die automatische Dimmfunktion deaktiviert. AUS blinkt auf dem
Display.
• Drücken Sie die +oder –Taste, um die Funktion zu aktivieren (AN). Das AUTO DIM
Symbol erscheint auf dem Display.
• Bestätigen Sie mit der SNOOZE/LIGHT Taste.
• Die Startzeit blinkt (Voreinstellung START ZEIT 22:00). Stellen Sie mit der +oder –
Taste die Uhrzeit (volle Stunden) ein.
• Bestätigen Sie mit der SNOOZE/LIGHT Taste.
• Die Endzeit blinkt (Voreinstellung END ZEIT 6:00). Stellen Sie mit der +oder –
Taste die Uhrzeit (volle Stunden) ein.
• Bestätigen Sie die Eingaben mit der SNOOZE/LIGHT Taste. Die Anzeige kehrt wieder
in den Normalmodus zurück und das AUTO DIM Symbol bleibt stehen.
9. Batteriewechsel
• Sobald das Batteriesymbol in der Displayzeile der Außenwerte oder im Display des
Senders erscheint, wechseln Sie bitte die Batterien im Sender.
• Sobald das Batteriesymbol in der Displayzeile der Innenwerte erscheint, wechseln
Sie bitte die Batterien in der Basisstation (optional).
•Achtung: Bei einem Batteriewechsel muss der Kontakt zwischen Sender und
Empfänger wiederhergestellt werden – also immer beide Geräte neu in Betrieb neh-
men oder manuelle Sendersuche starten (siehe Punkt „Empfang des Außensen-
ders”).
10. Standortwahl und Montage
• Suchen Sie im Freien einen schattigen, niederschlagsgeschützten Platz für den
Sender aus. Direkte Sonneneinstrahlung verfälscht die Messwerte und ständige
Nässe belastet die elektronischen Bauteile unnötig.
• Stellen Sie den Projektionswecker am gewünschten Standort auf.
• Vermeiden Sie die Nähe zu möglichen Störquellen, die den Funkempfang beein-
trächtigen können. Es wird empfohlen, einen Abstand von mindestens 2 Metern zu
eventuell störenden Geräten (Fernseher, Computer, Mikrowelle, Funktelefone,
Babyfon) und großen Metallgegenständen (z.B. Kühlschrank) einzuhalten. Bei mas-
siven Wänden, insbesondere mit Metallteilen, kann sich die Sendereichweite erheb-
lich reduzieren. In Extremfällen wird empfohlen, das Gerät in Fensternähe zu plat-
zieren.

• Prüfen Sie, ob eine Übertragung der Messwerte vom Sender am gewünschten Auf-
stellort zur Basisstation stattfindet und das DCF Funkuhrsignal empfangen werden
kann.
• Suchen Sie sich gegebenenfalls einen neuen Aufstellort für Sender und/oder Emp-
fänger.
• Zur Wandmontage des Senders schrauben Sie den Halter an die Wand und klinken
Sie den Außensender in den Halter.
• Betreiben Sie die Basisstation nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe der Heizung, anderer Hit-
zequellen oder in direkter Sonneneinstrahlung.

swallowed, this can lead to serious internal burns and death within two hours. If
you suspect a battery could have been swallowed or otherwise caught in the body,
seek medical help immediately.
• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged.
Risk of explosion!
• Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by
leaking. Make sure the polarities are correct. Never use a combination of old and
new batteries together, nor batteries of different types. Remove the batteries if the
device will not be used for an extended period of time. Avoid contact with skin,
eyes and mucous membranes when handling leaking batteries. In case of contact,
immediately rinse the affected areas with water and consult a doctor.

5. Getting started
5.1 Getting the transmitter started
• Place the base station and the transmitter on a table at a distance of about 1.5
meters from each other. Avoid being close to possible sources of interference such
as electronic devices and radio equipment.
• Open the battery compartment of the transmitter and insert two new AA 1.5 V bat-
teries, polarity as illustrated. All LCD segments will be displayed for a short
moment.
• The display shows the temperature. The switch is set to channel 1. Channel 2 + 3
are reserved for other models
• Close the battery compartment.
5.2 Getting the projection alarm clock started
• The projection alarm clock can be operated with 3 x 1,5 V AAA batteries (not
included). The batteries maintain the clock operation in the event of blackout or
other power failure. In pure battery operation, the backlight is briefly activated with
the SNOOZE/LIGHT button and the projection with the Projection HIGH/LOW/OFF
button. For a permanent backlight and projection and to conserve battery power,
use the supplied power adapter.
• Fold out the projector arm. Insert the power adapter pin into the device jack and
connect the plug to a wall socket.
• The device is ready for use.
• The device will alert you with a beep and all LCD segments will be displayed for a
short moment.
• Optional: Open the battery compartment and insert three new AAA 1.5 V batteries,
polarity as illustrated. Close the battery compartment.
5.3 Reception of outdoor transmitter
• The base station will scan the outdoor temperature. “- -,-” appears on the outdoor
temperature display and the reception symbol flashes.
• If the reception is successful, the outdoor temperature and the reception symbol
appear steadily on the base station display.
• If the reception of outdoor temperature fails, check the batteries and try it again. If
no reception is possible, “NO” appears after three minutes.
• You can also start the transmitter search manually (e.g. if the transmitter signal is
lost or if the batteries are changed). Press and hold the +button on the base station
for two seconds. The reception symbol for the outdoor transmitter will be flashing.

• Press the TX button in the transmitter's battery compartment. The transmission of
the outdoor data takes place immediately and if the reception is successful, the
outdoor temperature appears on the base station display.
• If contact between the transmitter and receiver is lost at a later time after success-
ful reception, “NO” appears after 30 minutes instead of the outdoor temperature.
Reception is reactivated every hour.
5.4 Reception of the DCF frequency signal
• After the reception of the outdoor values, the clock will now scan the DCF frequen-
cy signal and the DCF symbol flashes on the display.
• When the time code is successfully received after 3-10 minutes, the radio-con-
trolled time and the DCF symbol will be shown steadily on the display. If the recep-
tion fails, scanning stops and will be repeated every 2 hours.
• The DCF reception always takes place at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 o'clock in the morn-
ing. If the signal is not successfully received, further attempts will be taken at 4:00
and 5:00 o'clock.
• You can also activate the DCF reception manually. Press briefly the SET button in
normal mode. The DCF reception symbol will be flashing.
• Press the SET button again to stop the reception process. The DCF reception sym-
bol disappears.
• There are 3 different reception symbols:
flashing symbol – reception is active
solid – reception is successful
no symbol – no DCF reception
• If the clock cannot detect the DCF-signal (e.g. due to interference, transmitting dis-
tance, etc.), the time can be set manually.
• The clock will then work as a normal quartz clock (see: “Manual settings”).
Note on radio-controlled time
• The time is transmitted from an atomic clock near Frankfurt am Main by a DCF-77
(77.5 kHz) frequency signal with a range of about 1,500 km. Your radio-controlled
clock receives the signal, converts it and always shows the exact time. The adjust-
ment of Daylight Saving Time and Standard Time is also automatic.
• Avoid being close to possible sources of interference that may affect radio reception
(see “Location and mounting”).
• During night-time, the atmospheric interference is usually less severe. A single daily
reception is adequate to keep the accuracy deviation under 1 second.
6. Operation
6.1 Manual settings
• Press and hold the +or –button in setting mode for fast mode.

• Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to quit the setting mode. The device will automati-
cally quit the setting mode if no button is pressed for 10 seconds. The device will
automatically use the settings you have made so far.
6.2 Manual setting of the clock and calendar
• Press and hold the SET button for three seconds to enter the setting mode.
• The language setting (default: DEUTSCH=German) flashes on the display.
• Press the +or –button to select the language: GERMAN - DEUTSCH, ENGLISH,
SPANISH - ESPANOL or FRENCH – FRANCAIS, while the display flashes.
• Confirm with the SET button and go to the next setting.
• If you select ENGLISH, the display will now appear in English.
• The sequence is shown as follows:
– Button tone (default: BEEP OFF)
– DCF reception (default: DCF ON)
– Time zone -12/+12 (default: 00)
– Hour, minutes
– Year, month, date
– Date format DATE/MONTH or MONTH/DATE (default DATE/MONTH)
6.2.1 Button tones
• Press the +or –button to activate (BEEP ON) or deactivate (BEEP OFF) the button
tone in setting mode.
6.2.2 DCF reception
• By default, the DCF reception is activated (DCF ON) and after successful reception
of the DCF signal no manual time setting is necessary.
• Press the +or –button in setting mode if you want to deactivate the DCF reception
(DCF OFF).
• The DCF reception symbol disappears.
• Once the DCF time reception is deactivated the clock must be manually set. No time
zone will appear.
• If the DCF reception is activated, the manually set time will be overwritten by the
DCF time when the signal is received successfully.
6.2.3 Setting of the time zone
• The time zone correction is needed for countries where the DCF signal can be
received but the time zone is different from the DCF time (e.g. +1=one hour plus).
• Press the +or –button to make the time zone correction (+12/-12).

6.3 Optional display
• With the CALENDAR button you can toggle the display in normal mode:
– Weekday written in full letters
– Weekday (3 digits) with date
– Alarm time
7. Alarm clock function
7.1 Alarm time setting
• Press and hold the ALARM button for three seconds to enter the setting mode. The
alarm symbol and ALARM appear on the display.
• The hour digits flash.
• Press the +or –button to set the desired time.
• Confirm the setting with the ALARM button.
• Set the minutes in the same way.
• Confirm the setting with the ALARM button.
• The current time and the alarm symbol appear on the display.
• The newly set alarm time appears in the optional display.
• The alarm is activated.
7.2 Activate and deactivate the alarm
• To deactivate and activate the alarm function, press the ALARM button in normal
mode.
• The last adjusted alarm time appears for 2 seconds on the display.
• The alarm symbol and ALARM ON appear on the display, if the alarm is activated.
• ALARM OFF appears on the display, if the alarm is deactivated.
• Wait some seconds until the display returns to normal mode to confirm the setting.
• When the alarm is activated, the alarm starts to ring when the set alarm time is
reached. The alarm symbol flashes.
• If the alarm is not stopped manually, the ascending alarm tone automatically turns
off after two minutes and it will be reactivated at the same set time on the following
day.
• When the alarm rings, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button and the snooze function is
activated.
• The alarm will be interrupted for 10 minutes. The snooze symbol flashes on the
display.
• Press any button (except SNOOZE/LIGHT) and the alarm will stop. GOOD DAY
appears briefly on the display.
• The alarm symbol remains on the display.

8. Projection and light
Note: Continuous illuminated backlight and projection only works when using
the power adapter.
8.1 Projection
• Press and hold the Projection HIGH/LOW/OFF button for three seconds to enter the
setting mode.
• The first option flashes on the display.
• Use the +or –button to make the desired setting, while the display is flashing.
• To confirm the setting, press the Projection HIGH/LOW/OFF button or wait some
seconds until the display returns to normal mode.
• The sequence is shown as follows:
– TIME
– IN TEMP indoor temperature
– OUT TEMP outdoor temperature
– TIME/TEMP time/indoor temperature/outdoor temperature alternating
• Press the Projection HIGH/LOW/OFF button to adjust the projection brightness in
2 levels or to switch it off.
• If the projection is switched on, the last selected display and the alarm symbol (if
the alarm is activated) appear on the wall or ceiling.
• Set the projection arm to the respective position.
• With the ROTATE dial you can rotate the image by 270°.
•Battery operation: To temporarily activate the projection, press the Projection
HIGH/LOW/OFF button.
8.2 Display backlight
• Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to adjust the brightness in 4 levels (BACKLIGHT 1-
4) or to switch it off (OFF).
• Wait some seconds until the display returns to normal mode to confirm the setting.
•Battery operation: To temporarily activate the backlight, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT
button.
8.2.1 Automatic dimming mode
• If the auto-dim mode is activated, the weak backlight (level 1) turns on automati-
cally for the set time. After that, the backlight goes to level 4.
• Press and hold the SNOOZE/LIGHT button for 2 seconds. AUTO DIM appears on the
display.
• By default, the automatic dimming function is disabled. OFF flashes on the display.
• To activate the function, press the +or –button (ON). The AUTO DIM symbol
appears on the display.

• Confirm with the SNOOZE/LIGHT button.
• The start time flashes (START TIME 22:00 default). Press the +or –button to set
the time (full hours).
• Confirm with the SNOOZE/LIGHT button.
• The end time flashes (STOP TIME 6:00 default). Press the +or –button to set the
time (full hours).
• Confirm the settings with the SNOOZE/LIGHT button. The display returns to normal
mode and the AUTO DIM symbol remains.
9. Battery replacement
• As soon as the battery symbol will appear on the outdoor values display of the
base station or on the display of the outdoor transmitter, change the batteries of
the outdoor transmitter.
• Change the batteries of the base station, when the battery symbol appears on the
indoor values display (optional).
•Please note:
When the batteries are changed, the contact between the outdoor transmitter and
the base station must be restored – so always restart both devices or start a manual
transmitter search (see “Reception of outdoor transmitter”).
10. Location and mounting
• When placed outdoors, choose a shady and dry place for the transmitter. Direct
sunlight may trigger incorrect measurement and continuous humidity damages the
electronic components needlessly.
• Place the projection alarm clock at your chosen location.
• Avoid being close to possible sources of interference that may affect radio recep-
tion. It is recommended to keep a distance of at least 2 metres to possibly interfer-
ing sources (TV, computer, microwave, wireless phones, baby monitors) and large
metal objects (e.g. refrigerator). Within solid walls, especially ones with metal
parts, the transmission range can be reduced considerably. In extreme cases,
please place the unit close to a window to improve reception.
• Check whether the transmission from the transmitter to the base station is possible
and whether the DCF radio clock signal can be received.
• If necessary, choose, another position for the outdoor transmitter and/or receiver.
• To wall-mount the transmitter, screw the holder to the wall and click the outdoor
transmitter into the holder.
• Do not use the base station in the vicinity of radiators, other sources of heat or in
direct sunlight.

si vous n'utilisez pas votre appareil pendant une durée prolongée. Évitez tout

5. Mise en service
5.1 Mise en service de l'émetteur
• Déposez la station de base et l'émetteur sur une table à une distance d'environ 1,5
mètre l'un de l'autre. Évitez la proximité de sources parasites (appareils électroni-
ques ou appareils radio).
• Ouvrez le compartiment à piles de l'émetteur et insérez deux nouvelles piles de type
1,5 V AA en respectant la polarité +/-. Tous les segments s'allument brièvement.
• La température apparaît sur l'écran. L'interrupteur est réglé sur le canal 1. Sur ce
modèle, les canaux 2 + 3 ne sont pas utilisables.
• Refermez le compartiment à piles.
5.2 Mise en service du réveil projecteur
• Le réveil projecteur peut être alimenté par piles 3 x 1,5 V AAA (non incluses). Les
piles servent à maintenir le fonctionnement du réveil lors de l’éteinte soudaine ou
d'une panne de courant. En fonctionnement seulement avec piles, le rétroéclairage
est activé brièvement avec la touche SNOOZE/LIGHT et la projection avec la touche
Projection HIGH/LOW/OFF. Pour utiliser l'éclairage de fond et la projection en per-
manence et pour économiser les piles, utilisez l'adaptateur secteur compris.
• Relevez le projecteur. Branchez le connecteur sur la prise de l’appareil et la fiche de
l'adaptateur sur le secteur.
• Votre appareil est maintenant prêt à fonctionner.
• Un signal sonore se fait entendre et tous les segments s'allument brièvement.
• Optionnel : Ouvrez le compartiment à piles et insérez trois piles neuves de type
1,5 V AAA en respectant la polarité +/-. Refermez le compartiment à piles.
5.3 Réception de l'émetteur extérieur
• La station de base cherche la température extérieure. « - -,- »apparaît sur l'écran
de la température extérieure et le symbole de réception clignote.
• Lorsque la réception du signal a abouti, la température extérieure et le symbole de
réception sont affichés en continu sur l'écran de la station de base.
• Si la température extérieure n'est pas reçue, contrôlez les piles et effectuez une
nouvelle tentative. Si aucune réception n'est possible, « NO » s'affiche après trois
minutes.
• Vous pouvez activer manuellement la recherche de l'émetteur (par exemple en cas
de perte du signal de l'émetteur ou de remplacement des piles). Appuyez sur la
touche +de la station de base pendant deux secondes. Le symbole de réception
clignote.
