Before using the electric convector for the first time, carefully read these operat-
ing instructions and pay particular attention to the points marked with the "AT-
TENTION!"

Congratulations on your purchase of the THERMEX electric convector.
Electric convectors THERMEX are modern equipment characterized by stylish appearance,
high safety, reliability and heating efficiency.
In order to save energy and regulate the heating temperature, THERMEX convectors are
equipped with a thermostat, and for safety reasons - with a thermal switch that protects against
overheating and automatic shutdown in case of overturning.
This manual applies to THERMEX electric convectors of the Frame 1000E, Frame 1500E,
Frame 2000E models (hereinafter referred to as the convector, appliance, device). The full
name of the device you purchased is indicated on the identification plate on the device body, as
well as on the box.

1. SAFETY REGULATIONS
1. Please read this instruction manual carefully before using the device.
2. Before using the device, carefully inspect it, including the power cord and plug, for any
visible damage. Do not use a damaged device.
3. Do not use the device until it has been fully installed according to the installation in-
structions.
4. This device is intended solely for home use as an additional source of heating for a
house / apartment / garage and other household premises.
5. The dust and moisture protection class of the device is IP24. Do not place the device
near taps, bathrooms, swimming pools, fountains, or other sources of moisture. Make
sure that the device cannot get into the water and prevent water from getting into the
device. If the device comes into contact with water, immediately disconnect it from the
electricity.
6. Before connecting the device to the electrical network, make sure that its parameters
correspond to those indicated on the technical plate on the device body.
7. The socket for connecting the device must have a grounding terminal and be located in
a place protected from moisture.
8. Fully straighten the cord. Make sure that it does not come into contact with the body of
the device and prevent it from getting hot. Do not put the cord under any floor cover-
ing. Make sure the cord is not bent or kinked or kinked.
9. It is not recommended to use an extension cord, as this creates the risk of overheating
the device main cord.
10. It is normal for the plug to become slightly warm during use. If the plug gets too hot,
check the outlet.
11. Do not use the device outdoors and in rooms less than 2.5 square meters.
12. Do not use the device in places where flammable substances, fuel, paint, etc. are stored,
or do not place it near other heating devices or near open flames.
13. Do not install a socket behind the device.
14. The distance from the device to furniture, curtains, bedding and other textiles must be at
least 1 meter.
15. Do not cover the device or use it to drying clothes.
16. Make sure that the air around the device can circulate freely. When installing on a wall,
do not block the space between the wall and the device.

17. Do not wrap the cord around the device after use.
18. Before moving, cleaning, etc., disconnect the device from the mains and wait until the
device has completely cooled down.
19. The temperature of the surface of the device and its parts in the switched on state can
reach high values. Avoid contact with the skin and any foreign objects when the device
is turned on to avoid burns and fire.
20. The device is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, tactile or mental
capabilities, as well as by persons who not able to use the convector, unless this is done
under supervision or in accordance with instructions from persons responsible for the
safety of the convector. Children may only use the convector under the supervision of
persons who know how to use it safely. It must always be understood that there is a risk
of a fire hazard or electric shock.
21. Do not switch on the device if you find damage of the case, control unit, cord or plug, if
the device is defective, if it has been dropped, or if there are any other signs of a de-
fect. Contact an Authorized Service Center for inspection and / or repair. Do not repair
and / or modify the device yourself.
22. Always use the device with the feet installed or securely install on the wall using the
supplied fasteners.
23. The device (including cord and plug) may only be disassembled and / or repaired by
authorized and qualified personnel.
24. Always use this heater only for its intended purpose and only as described in this in-
struction manual.
25. In case of technical problems with the device, you must immediately contact an author-
ized service center for troubleshooting.
26. Failure to observe the above points may result in damage to the device, fire and / or in-
jury. Failure to comply with these rules will also immediately void the warranty and the
supplier, importer and / or manufacturer will not be held liable for any of the conse-
quences!

4. INSTALLATION
The convector can be installedboth on a vertical surface (wall) with wall mounted bracket
and kit and on a horizontal surface (floor) on chassis.

Floor installation
1. Turn the convector upside down.
2. Fix the chassis to the convector (Fig. 1).
3. Place the convector on the chassis on a smooth and clean surface. Make sure the
device is firmly on the floor.

Wall installation
1. Determine the installation location of the device, observing the minimum distances to
foreign objects, ceiling and floor (Fig. 3).
2. Note the height at which you want to install the device.
3. Mount the bracket to the wall using the supplied wall mount kit. Drill holes of the re-
quired diameter according to the fixing marks, insert the dowels, affix the bracket and
tighten the screws, thereby securing the bracket to the wall (Fig. 2, p. 1,2)
4. Hang the device onto the bracket by aligning the bracket with the holes on the back
of the device (Fig. 2, p. 3)
5. Tighten the screws on the top of the bracket to fix the convector (Fig. 2, p. 4)

1. Secure the device following the installation instructions.
2. Insert the plug of the power cord into an electrical outlet that meets the specifications
of the device.
It is not recommended to use one electrical outlet to connect the convector and
another electrical device in order to avoid overloading the electrical network.
3. Move the button on the side surface to position I.
4. Press the On/Off button on the device control panel. The device will turn on at minimum
power and will display the current air temperature in the room.
5. Use the power mode button to select a heating mode - low or high. Each mode has
power indicators:
For Frame 1000E: Low (500W) / High (1000W)
For Frame 1500E: Low (750W) / High (1500W)
For Frame 2000E: Low (1000W) / High (2000W)

6. Use the heating temperature adjustment knob to set the desired heating tempera-
ture. The temperature adjustment range is from 16 °C to 40 °C.
7. As soon as the temperature in the room exceeds the user-defined settings by 2 °C, the
device will turn off automatically. When the temperature in the room drops by 2 °C from
the one set by the user, the device will automatically turn on.
8. The timer setting button is used to set the switching off of the device in the interval from
1 to 24 hours.
9. Using Childproof mode button lock” button on the remote control, the device can be
protected against use by small children. Press and hold the mode button for 3 seconds
to activate it. After pressing the button again within 3 seconds, the convector is un-
locked.
10. To turn off the device, press the On/Off button again, turn the button on the side of the
device to position 0 and unplug the power cord from the outlet.
11. The device is equipped with an overheating protection sensor, which automatically
turns off the device when it overheats and automatically resumes the operation of the
device after cooling down.
12. The device is equipped with an anti-tipping sensor when installed on the floor, which
automatically turns off the convector when it overturning (tipping over). To resume the
operation of the device after returning to its original position, it is necessary to turn it
off and then turn on using the button on the side surface.
13. The device emits sound feedback signals when the user interacts with the control but-
tons.

6. MAINTENANCE
Before maintenance, disconnect the device from the electricity and allow it to
cool down.
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the surface of the device. After cleaning, wipe the device
with a dry cloth and let it dry for 24 hours before turning it on.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, polishes, gasoline, thinners and other
chemicals during cleaning in order to prevent damage to the outer surfaces of
the device
7. DISPOSAL
When complying with the rules of installation, operation and device maintenance the man-
ufacturer sets device lifespan of 5 years from the date of purchase.
When disposing of the device comply with local environmental laws and guidelines.
8. TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
Transportation and storage of convectors shall be carried out in accordance with manipula-
tion marks on the packaging:
need to protect the goods from moisture
fragile, delicate handling
recommended storage temperature range from +5° to +20° С
correct vertical position of cargo;

9. MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY
The manufacturer sets 3 years as the period of warranty for the device.
The warranty period is calculated from the date of device sale. If there is no or correct-ed date
of sale and shop stamp, the warranty period is calculated from the date of device manufacture.
Claims within the warranty period are accepted only on presentation of the warranty card with
marks of the seller, and the identification plate on the casing of device. Release date of a water
heater is encoded in a unique serial number, located on the identification plate on the casing.
Device serial number consists of thirteen digits. The third and fourth digits of the serial number
are year of manufacture, the fifth and sixth digits - month of release, the seventh and eighth
digits - day of device release.
The manufacturer is not responsible fordefects arising from the consumer's violation of the rules
for installation, operation and maintenance of the device set forth in this manual, including in
cases where these defects have arisen due to unacceptable parameters of the electrical network
in which the device is operated, due to commercial use or as a result of the intervention of third
parties.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the design and specifications of the de-
vice without prior notice.
