Take your time and read the following instructions and information completely.
Please keep these instructions in asafe place for futurereference. If you sell the
device, please pass these operating instructions on to the new owner.
1. Explanation of Warning Symbols and Notes
Risk of electric shock
This symbol indicates product parts energized with adangerous voltage of sucient
magnitude to constitute arisk of electric shock.
Warning
This symbol is used to indicate safety instructions or to draw your attention to specic
hazards and risks.

•The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.
•Use the product for its intended purpose only.
•Children should be supervised to ensurethat they do not play with the device.
•Do not use the product in areas wherethe use of electronic devices is not permitted.
•Lay all cables so that they do not pose atripping hazard.
•Do not bend or crush the cable.

•The batteries and charging station included in the delivery go together and should always
be used in combination.

Risk of electric shock

Warning –Batteries
•When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+ and -markings) and insert
the batteries accordingly.Failure to do so could result in the batteries leaking or
exploding.
•Only use batteries (or rechargeable batteries) that match the specied type.
•Beforeyou insert the batteries, clean the battery contacts and the polar contacts.
Warning –Batteries
•Do not allow children to change batteries without supervision.
•Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of adifferent type or make.
•Remove the batteries from products that arenot being used for an extended period
(unless these arebeing kept ready for an emergency).
•Do not short-circuit batteries.
•Do not charge batteries.

•Never open, damage or swallow batteries or allow them to enter the environment.

•Immediately remove and dispose of dead batteries from the product.
•Avoid storing, charging or using the device in extreme temperatures and extremely
low atmospheric pressure(for example, at high altitudes).

•To prevent hearing loss, avoid listening at high volume levels for
long periods.
•Always keep the volume at areasonable level. Loud volumes, even
over short periods, can cause hearing loss.
•Using this product limits your perception of ambient noise. Forthis reason, do not
operate any vehicles or machines while using this product.

6. Installing the transmitter/charging station, Fig. 3
Warning
•Only operate the product from asocket that has been approved for the device. The
socket must be installed close to the product and must be easily accessible.
•Disconnect the product from the power supply using the On/Off switch –ifthis is not
available, unplug the power cordfromthe socket.
•If using amulti-socket power strip, make surethat the total power consumption of
all connected devices does not exceed the power strip's maximum throughput rating.
•If you will not be using the product for aprolonged period, disconnect it from mains
power.
•Connect the power supply to the power socket on the rear side of the transmitter.
•Connect the power supply to amains socket.
•Connect the 2.5 mm jack cable from the transmitter /charging station to the headphone
jack socket (charge) (right earcup) in order to charge the batteries. To start charging,
switch the headphones off using the power button on the right earcup (R).
•The charge LED on the transmitter will now be green.
7. Installing the receiver/headphones, Fig. 2
•Carefully pull off the earpad on the right-hand side.
•Insert the two batteries supplied, making sureyou observe correct polarity.
•Reinsert the earpad until it audibly clicks into place.
8. Getting started, Fig. 3
•Connect the audio input to the headphone output jack of an audio device (e.g. amplier)
using the 3.5 mm jack cable. If required, use a3.5 mm –6.3 mm adapter (not included
in delivery).
•Switch on the audio source connected to the transmitter (TV or audio player).
•Switch on the headphones by pressing the Power button (3). The LED (7) of the headphones
lights up green. Make surethat the redLED (2) is lit. This conrms that the rechargeable
batteries arecharged.
•Put the headphones on and set the volume to the desired level.
•Beforeusing the headphones for the rst time, make surethat the battery is fully
charged. Charge the battery for at least 24 hours beforethe rst use.
•Turn the headphones off after use and connect them to the transmitter /charging station
using the 2.5 mm jack cable in order to recharge the batteries.
Note
•If you cannot get an optimum signal frequency,press the Auto-Tune button (5) on
the headphones.
•If you cannot get an adequate frequency,change the frequency channel on the rear
side of the transmitter.Then conrm the corresponding channel on the headphones
by pressing the Auto-Tune button.
•To get the best sound experience with your headphones, you should set the volume
of the sound source (TV,stereo system, etc.) as high as possible and reduce the
volume on the headphones themselves.
The transmitter will automatically switch off if it receives no audio signal for
approximately 2minutes, or if the signal from the audio source is too weak for
awless reception. As soon as the signal strength is sucient, the transmitter will
automatically switch back on. The headphones do not switch off automatically.
Note
•To prevent damage to the batteries, always switch off the headphones when they
arenot in use.
•Beforeusing the product for the rst time, the batteries should be fully charged.
To guarantee an acceptable charge, the batteries should initially be charged for 24
hours. Subsequent charging cycles then last approximately 10 hours.
•The batteries will not be charged if the transmitter is off.
9. Troubleshooting
9.1 No sound
•Check that the power supply plug is fully inserted into the mains socket and the other
end is properly connected to the power supply socket on the transmitter.
•Make surethat the headphones areon.
•The battery in the headphones may have insucient remaining charge. Charge the
battery.
•Check that your TV,hi-system or audio source is switched on and achannel is correctly
congured to send an audio signal.
•Increase the volume using the control on the headphones.
•The connected audio/video device may not be in playback mode. Please start the
playback.
•The output volume of the audio source may be too low.Adjust the volume accordingly.
•
•9.2 Distortion
•Press the Auto-Tune button.
•Set adifferent frequency channel (1, 2or3). Then press the Auto-Tune button again.
•The battery in the headphones may have insucient remaining charge. Charge the
battery.
•Increase the volume using the control on the headphones.
•The distance between the headphones and the transmitter may be too great. Move the
two devices closer together and turn the headphones in the direction of the transmitter.
•The input level of the audio signal may be too low.Increase the volume of the audio
source.
10. Careand Maintenance
Note
Disconnect the device from the power supply beforecleaning it or if it is not going
to be used for along period of time.
Only clean this product with aslightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not use aggres-
sive cleaning agents.
