Device Wiring (Without Secure Door Control Unit)
Notes:
When connecng door magnec sensor and exit buon, the device and the
RS-485 card reader should use the common ground connecon.
The Wiegand terminal here is a Wiegand input terminal. You should set
the face recognion terminal’s Wiegand direcon to “Input”. If you should connect
to an access controller, you should set the Wiegand direcon to “Output”. For details,
see Seng Wiegand Parameters in Communicaon Sengs in the user manual.

Network Interface
Installaon Environment:
Indoor and outdoor installaon are supported. If installing the device
indoors, the device should be at least 2 meters away from the light, and
at least 3 meters away from the window or the door. If installing the
device outdoors, you should apply Sililcone sealant among the cable
wiring area to keep the raindrop from entering.
Make sure the environment illuminaon is more than 100 Lux.

Notes:
The installaon height here is the recommended height. You can change it according
to your actual needs.
You can also install the device on the wall or other places without the gang box. For
details, refer to the User Manual.
For easy installaon, drill holes on mounng surface according to the supplied
mounng template.
Drill holes on the wall or other surface according to the mounng template and install the gang box.
Use two supplied screws (4_KA4×22-SUS) to secure the mounng plate on the gang box.
Use another four supplied screws to secure the mounng plate on the wall.
Route the cables through the cable hole of the mounng plate, and connect to the corresponding
external devices’ cables.
Note: Apply Silicone sealant among the cable wiring area to keep the raindrop from entering.
Before you start:
According to the baseline on the mounng template, sck the mounng template on the wall or
other surface, 1.4 meters higher than the ground.
Note: Make sure the output of external power supply fulfils LPS.

Insert the fingerprint module to the holes at the boom of the main part.
Align the device with the mounng plate and hang the terminal on the
mounng plate.
Make sure the two sheets on each side of the mount plate have been in the
holes at the back of the device.
Use two supplied screws (SC-M4×12TP10-SUS) to secure the device and the
mounng plate.

Quick Start Guide
TimeWatch ULtraFace Series
Activation
Power on and wire the network cable aer installaon. You should
acvate the device before the first login.
If the device is not acvated yet, it will enter the Acvate Device page aer powering on.
Steps:
1. Create a password and confirm the password.
2. Tap Acvate to acvate the device.
Note: For other acvaon methods, see the device user manual.
1. Use finger to hold the screen surface and enter the acvaon password to
enter the main page.
2. Enter the User Management page, tap + to enter the Add User
page.
4. Tap Face and collect the face informaon according to the
instrucons.
You can view the captured picture at the upper right corner of
the page. Make sure the face picture is in good quality and size.
For details about the ps and posions when collecng or
comparing the face picture, see the contents on the right.
5. If the picture is in good condion, tap Save to save the picture.
Or tap Try Again to take another face picture.
6. Tap to save the sengs.
Go back to the inial page to start authencaon.

Note: Only the devices with the fingerprint module support the fingerprint related
funcons.
Recommended:
Use 1:1 Face Matching when the face is hard to recognize.
Use other authencaon methods if the device if affected by the light or other
items.
1:1 Matching: The device will compare the captured face picture with the ones
in the database.
1:N Matching: The device will compare the captured face picture with the user
linked face picture.
Device Wiring (With Secure Door Control Unit)
Keep your expression naturally when collecng or comparing face pictures, just like the
expression in the picture on the right.
In order to get a good quality and accurate face picture, posion your face looking at
the camera when collecng or comparing face pictures.
Do not wear hat, sunglasses, or other accessories that can
affect the facial recognion funcon.
Do not make your hair cover your eyes, ears, etc. and
heavy makeup is not allowed.
STRONG PASSWORD RECOMMENDED–
We highly recommend you create a strong
password of your own choosing (using a minimum
of 8 characters, including upper case leers, lower
case leers, numbers, and special characters) in
order to increase the security of your product. And
we recommend you reset your password regularly,
especially in the high security system, reseng the
password monthly or weekly can beer protect
your product.

Biometric recognion products are not 100% applicable to an-spoofing
environments. If you require a higher security level, use mulple authenca-
on modes.
If you adopt mulple authencaon modes, you should authencate other
methods before authencang face.

Call Device from Client Software
Aer adding the device on the client soware, you can enter the Live View page. Right click the live
view window and click Start Two-Way Audio to start two-way audio.
Call Client Software from Device
Aer adding the device on the client soware, tap -> , and tap Answer on the pop-up
window on the client soware to start two-way audio.
Note: If the device is added by mulple client sowares and when the device is calling the client
soware, only the first client soware added the device will pop up the call receiving window.
Call Indoor Station from Device
Aer adding the device and the indoor staon on the client soware, link the added user
and the added indoor staon, and set a room No. for the indoor staon.
Tap and enter the room No. And tap to call the indoor staon.
Call Center from Device
Aer adding the device and center on the client soware, tap -> to call the center. When the
center answers the call, you can start two-way audio.
Note: The device will call the center in priority when tap the administrator icon.
Aer adding the device to the client soware, you can call the device from the client soware, call the
client soware from the device, call the center from the device, or call the indoor staon form the
device.
