Cleaning and Maintenance

• Contacttheair/CO2supplycylindermanufacturerwithanyquestions.
• Donotuseanypetroleumbasedcleaningsolvents.
• Donotuseanycleaningsolventsthatcomeinaerosolcans.
NOTE:Petroleumbasedproductsandaerosolproductscandamageyourmarker’s
O-rings.
Tocleanyourpaintballmarkerexterior,useadamptoweltowipeoffpaint,oil,anddebris.
Tocleaninsidethebarrel:
1. RotatetheFeedTubeLockfromitslockedpositiontotheunlockedposition(thelever
pointstowardsthebarrel).SlidetheFeedTubeupwardstoremoveitfromthemarker.
CleantheFeedTubeifnecessary.
2. InsertthetabendofthesqueegeeintotheFeedTubeopeningandpushitinuntilit
appearsatthemuzzleendofthebarrel.
3. Pullthesqueegeethroughthebarreltoremovedebrisandpaint.
Tomaintainyourmarkeringoodworkingcondition,inspect,clean,andreplaceanydamaged
parts.WerecommendtheuseofTippmannCertiedMarkerOilwhenservicingyourmarker.
Lubricatethemarker’sair/CO2supplyvalveO-ring,andtheinternalDriveAssemblyparts:the
FrontBoltO-ring(item#63),theRearBoltO-ring(41),theLinkageArm(64),theDriveSpring
(46),andGuidePin(45).
ThebestvalveO-ringsaremadeofurethane.UrethaneO-ringsarenotaffectedbyhighair/
CO2supplypressures.ThesemaybepurchasedfromTippmannoryourlocalpaintballdealer.
UseTippmannmarkeroiltolightlylubricatetheO-ringsandsprings.Inspectandlubricatethe
air/CO2supplyvalveO-ringwithafewdropsofmarkeroil
whenattachingtheair/CO2supplycylinder.
Storage
Beforestorage,unloadthemarker(page9)andremoveair/
CO2supply(seepage12).PuttheTriggerSafetyinSafe
mode(seepage6)andinstallthebarrelblockingdevice
(seepage4).Beforestoringyourmarkermakesurethatthe
markeriscleanedandoiled(seeCleaningandMaintenance
above)sothatitdoesnotrust.Usetheoilingporttolubricate
theDriveSpring(46)andGuidePin(45).Storeyourmarker
withtheboltintheforward,uncockedposition.Storeyourmarkerinadryarea.
Whenremovingyourmarkerfromstorage,makesuretheTriggerSafetyisinSafemode(see
page6)andthebarrelblockingdeviceisinstalled(seepage4).
