The Toa model MR-8A is a one-rack space Assigner Unit for use with Toa’s MR-8T
Eight Track Studio Cassette Recorder. The MR-8A adds patch-free channel bouncing,
rack and source mixing, and input assignment capabilities to the MR-8T Recorder.
With the MR-8A as an interface, connections can be made by means of the switches
on its front panel.
Two microphone inputs with level controls ensure optimum performance when
recording mics. Multiple inputs can be mixed by simultaneously routing them to the
same destination.
The MR-8A can be utilized as a standalone 8 x 8 electronic audio Patch Bay.
