1 INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the HB 2M00 & 2F00. We hope that
you will enjoy using the Heart Meter and the benefits it offers. In exercise or
sports, your heart naturally speeds up in pumping blood to the body in
accordance with the increased energy level. The Heart Meter can calculate
this increase expressed as the number of beats per minute (bpm) to
determine a target heart rate safe for each individual. The HB 2M00 & 2F00
watch supports 3 user modes:
2 SAFETY NOTES
Using a Heart Monitor is NOT a substitute for professional medical
attention. If you suffer from heart disorder, illness or have recently taken up
fitness training, it is advisable that you seek a doctor or talk to your trainer
and work out a fitness plan that suits you.
The watch should only be used as a guide in maintaining a safe heart beat
rate for exercises. It should NOT be relied upon as a medical heart rate
monitor. If you are uncertain about how your exercise program will impact
on your heart, please consult a physician.
3 CARE AND MAINTENANCE
DO NOT expose the watch to extreme weather conditions or cleaning
agents and solvents. Avoid dropping or rough handling of the watch. Avoid
fastening the strap too tightly. Clean the watch with a dry soft cloth or a soft
cloth moistened with water and mild detergent. Store the watch in a dry
place when not in use.

4.1 MASTER RESET
Press and hold S2, S3 and S4 simultaneously to reset the watch.
!!! All set information will be lost, also the time.
4.2 BACK LIGHT
Press S1 briefly to active the back light of the display.
The buttons are mentioned in the manual
as follows.

6 SETTING ALARM TIME AND HOURLY CHIME
6.1 SETTING
In normal time mode (time on display):
• S2: To toggle to alarm mode.
• [S2]: Hour will blink.
• S3 or S4: Adjust hour up or down.
[S3] or [S4]: Adjust hour quickly.
• S2: Confirm. Minutes will blink.
• S3 or S4: Adjust minutes up or down.
[S3] or [S4]: Adjust minutes quickly.
• [S2]: To confirm the setting of the alarm
time .
6.2 ACTIVATE / DEACTIVATE ALARM
In alarm mode:

1. If the alarm time has been adjusted, alarm turns ON auto-
matically.
2. When the alarm is ON, the watch sounds at the alarm time.
3. When the alarm rings, press any button except S1 to stop
the alarm.

7 HEARTBEAT MEASUREMENT
7.1 IMPORTANT NOTES
1. A sensor contact located on the back of the watch must make firm
contact with the user's skin during measurement.
2. DO NOT take measurement when diving or under water.
3. Clean the back cover occasionally by applying a few drops of water
and then wipe it with a paper towel thoroughly to remove any residual
grease.
4. DO NOT use hand cream, it will insulate the signal between the skin
and the sensors. Rub the skin and the fingers with soap and water
occasionally for better signal transmission.
5. DO NOT use the finger tips where the skin is dry and thick. For those
with extremely dry skin, moisten fingers and wrist with tap water.
6. Hold the watch firmly while taking a measurement in motion, this
assists the sensors in making firm contact with the skin and fingers.
7. During the measurement, avoid any abrupt motion. It will create unde-
sired noise, hence an error heart beat reading may result.
7.2 MEASUREMENT
In any functional mode:
• [S5] for 5 to 8 seconds as indicated.
‘- - -’ is flashing on the display.
A beep confirms that the measurement has been
finalized.
The button can be released.
The heartbeat is displayed for 5 seconds.
The heart rate can be measured during any functional mode,
but cannot be measured when setting time and alarm.

In normal time mode:
• 2 x S2: To toggle to chronograph mode.
• S3: Start chrono.
• S3: Stop / Pause chono.

9 TOPCOM WARRANTY
9.1 WARRANTY PERIOD
The Topcom units have a 24-month warranty period. The warranty period
starts on the day the new unit is purchased. The warranty on batteries is
limited to 6 months after purchase. Consumables or defects causing a
negligible effect on operation or value of the equipment are not covered.
The warranty has to be proven by presentation of the original purchase
receipt, on which the date of purchase and the unit-model are indicated.
9.2 WARRANTY HANDLING
A faulty unit needs to be returned to a Topcom service centre including a
valid purchase note.
If the unit develops a fault during the warranty period, Topcom or its officially
appointed service centre will repair any defects caused by material or
manufacturing faults free of charge.
Topcom will at its discretion fulfil its warranty obligations by either repairing
or exchanging the faulty units or parts of the faulty units. In case of
replacement, colour and model can be different from the original purchased
unit.
The initial purchase date shall determine the start of the warranty period.
The warranty period is not extended if the unit is exchanged or repaired by
Topcom or its appointed service centres.
9.3 WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
Damage or defects caused by incorrect treatment or operation and damage
resulting from use of non-original parts or accessories not recommended by
Topcom are not covered by the warranty.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by outside factors, such as
lightning, water and fire, nor any damage caused during transportation.
No warranty can be claimed if the serial number on the units has been
changed, removed or rendered illegible.

1 INLEIDING
Gefeliciteerd met uw aankoop van de HB 2M00 & 2F00. We hopen dat u
geniet van de hartslagmeter en van de vele voordelen die het toestel biedt.
Als u sport beoefent of als u traint, pompt uw hart het bloed automatisch
sneller door uw lichaam in overeenstemming met het hogere
energieniveau. De hartslagmeter kan deze verhoging, uitgedrukt in aantal
hartslagen per minuut (hpm), berekenen om zo voor elk individu een
streefhartslag te bepalen. De HB 2M00 & 2F00 Watch ondersteunt 3
gebruikersmodi:
2 VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
Deze hartslagmeter is GEEN vervanging voor professionele medische
hulp. Als u lijdt aan een hartkwaal, als u ziek bent of nog maar pas
begonnen bent met fitness, raden wij u aan om een arts te raadplegen of te
overleggen met uw begeleider en te vragen of hij een fitnessprogramma
voor u wil uitwerken.
Het horloge mag alleen gebruikt worden als hulpmiddel om een veilige
hartslag te behouden tijdens het trainen. Het mag NIET gebruikt worden als
een medische hartslagmeter. Als u onzeker bent over de invloed die uw
oefenprogramma heeft op uw hart, dient u uw huisarts te raadplegen.
3 VERZORGING EN ONDERHOUD
Stel het horloge NIET bloot aan extreme weersomstandigheden,
reinigingsmiddelen en oplosmiddelen. Laat het horloge niet vallen en
behandel het met zachtheid. Bevestig de band niet te strak. Reinig het
horloge met een droge zachte doek of met een zachte doek die lichtjes
bevochtigd werd met water en een mild reinigingsmiddel. Bewaar het
horloge op een droge plaats wanneer u het niet gebruikt.

4.1 MASTER RESET
Druk gelijktijdig op de toetsen S2, S3 en S4 en houd ze ingedrukt om het
horloge te resetten.
!!! Alle ingestelde waarden gaan verloren, ook de tijdsmelding.
4.2 ACHTERGRONDVERLICHTING
Druk kort op S1 om de achtergrondverlichting van het scherm te activeren.
De toetsen worden in de handleiding als
volgt vermeld.
• S1 = Druk eenmaal op S1
• [S1] = Druk op S1 & houd de toets
ingedrukt
• S2 = Druk eenmaal op S2
• [S2] = Druk op S2 & houd de toets
ingedrukt

6.1 INSTELLING
In normale tijdmodus (tijd op scherm):
• S2: om naar de alarmmodus te gaan.
• [S2]: het uur knippert.
• S3 of S4: het uur hoger of lager instellen.
[S3] of [S4]: het uur snel instellen.
• S2: bevestigen. De minuten knipperen.
• S3 of S4: minuten hoger of lager instellen.
[S3] of [S4]: minuten snel instellen.
• [S2]: om de instelling van de alarmtijd te
bevestigen.
6.2 ALARM ACTIVEREN / DEACTIVEREN
In alarmmodus:

1. Als de alarmtijd ingesteld is, zal het alarm automatisch
INSCHAKELEN.
2. Wanneer het alarm AAN staat, zal het horloge een
geluidssignaal laten horen zodra de alarmtijd bereikt is.
3. Wanneer het alarm afgaat, drukt u op eender welke knop
(behalve S1) om het alarm te stoppen.

7 HARTSLAGMETING
7.1 BELANGRIJKE OPMERKINGEN
1. Het sensorcontact op de achterkant van het horloge moet tijdens de
meting in contact blijven met de huid van de gebruiker.
2. Meet uw hartslag NIET bij het duiken of onder water.
3. Reinig het achterpaneel regelmatig met wat water en wrijf het
vervolgens zorgvuldig droog met een papieren zakdoekje om
eventuele vetresten te verwijderen.
4. Gebruik GEEN handcrème, hierdoor wordt het signaal tussen de huid
en de sensoren geïsoleerd. Wrijf de huid en vingers nu en dan in met
wat zeep en water voor een betere signaaltransmissie.
5. Gebruik GEEN vingertoppen waar de huid droog en dik is. Personen
met een extreem droge huid raden we aan om hun vingers en pols te
bevochtigen met leidingwater.
6. Houd het horloge stevig vast wanneer u uw hartslag meet terwijl u in
beweging bent; zo blijven de sensoren stevig in contact met de huid
en vingers.
7. Vermijd abrupte bewegingen tijdens de meting. Dat zorgt voor
ongewenste storingen die kunnen leiden tot een foutieve
hartslagmeting.
7.2 METING
In elke functiemodus
• [S5] gedurende 5 tot 8 seconden zoals
aangegeven.
De hartslag kan worden gemeten in elke functiemodus, maar
niet terwijl het uur en het alarm ingesteld worden.

‘- - -’ knippert op het scherm.
Een pieptoon bevestigt dat uw hartslag gemeten is.
U kunt de toets nu loslaten.
De hartslag verschijnt 5 seconden op het scherm.
8 STOPWATCHMODUS
In normale tijdmodus
• 2 x S2: om naar de stopwatchmodus te gaan.
• S3: stopwatch starten.
• S3: stopwatch stoppen / pauzeren.
• S4: stopwatch resetten.

9 TOPCOM-GARANTIE
9.1 GARANTIETERMIJN
De Topcom-toestellen hebben een garantietermijn van 24 maanden. De
garantietermijn gaat in op de dag waarop het nieuwe toestel wordt
aangeschaft. De garantie op de batterijen is beperkt tot 6 maanden na
aankoop. Verbruiksartikelen en defecten die een verwaarloosbaar effect
hebben op de werking of waarde van het toestel worden niet gedekt door
de garantie. De garantie moet worden bewezen door het kunnen
voorleggen van de originele aankoopbon waarop de aankoopdatum en het
toestelmodel staan aangegeven.
9.2 AFWIKKELING VAN GARANTIECLAIMS
Een defect toestel moet worden geretourneerd aan het onderhoudscentrum
van Topcom, samen met een geldige aankoopbon.
Als het toestel defect raakt tijdens de garantietermijn, zal Topcom of een
van haar officieel aangewezen servicecentra defecten ingevolge materiaal-
of fabricagefouten kosteloos repareren.
Topcom zal naar eigen inzicht voldoen aan haar garantieverplichtingen
door de defecte toestellen, of onderdelen ervan, te repareren of te
vervangen. In het geval van vervanging kunnen de kleur en het model
verschillend zijn van het oorspronkelijk aangeschafte toestel. De
oorspronkelijke aankoopdatum bepaalt wanneer de garantietermijn ingaat.
De garantietermijn wordt niet verlengd als het toestel wordt vervangen of
gerepareerd door Topcom of een van haar aangewezen servicecentra.
9.3 GARANTIEBEPERKINGEN
Schade of defecten als gevolg van een onjuiste behandeling of onjuist
gebruik en schade als gevolg van het gebruik van niet-originele onderdelen
of accessoires die niet worden aanbevolen door Topcom, vallen buiten de
garantie.
De garantie dekt geen schade te wijten aan externe factoren, zoals bliksem,
water en brand, noch enige tijdens transport veroorzaakte schade.
Er kan geen aanspraak worden gemaakt op garantie als het serienummer
op de toestellen is veranderd, verwijderd of onleesbaar gemaakt.

1 INTRODUCTION
Félicitations pour l'achat du HB 2M00 & 2F00. Nous espérons que vous
apprécierez ce cardiofréquencemètre et ses avantages. Lorsque vous
faites de l'exercice ou du sport, votre cœur accélère naturellement en
pompant du sang dans le corps en fonction du niveau d'énergie accru. Le
cardiofréquencemètre permet de calculer cette accélération et de
l'exprimer en nombre de pulsations par minute afin de déterminer le bon
rythme cardiaque propre à chaque individu. La montre HB 2M00 & 2F00
dispose de 3 modes utilisateur :
2 CONSEILS DE SÉCURITÉ
L'utilisation d'un moniteur cardiaque NE se substitue PAS à l'attention
médicale d'un professionnel de la santé. Si vous souffrez de troubles
cardiaques, d'une pathologie ou que vous avez récemment repris un
entraînement physique, il est conseillé de consulter un médecin ou d'en
parler avec votre entraîneur et de mettre en place un programme
d'entraînement adapté.
La montre doit être utilisée uniquement comme repère dans le maintien
d'un rythme cardiaque sans danger pendant les exercices. Elle n'est PAS
aussi fiable qu'un moniteur de rythme cardiaque médical. Si vous n'êtes pas
certain de l'impact du programme d'exercices sur votre cœur, veuillez
consulter un médecin.
3 ENTRETIEN ET MAINTENANCE
N'EXPOSEZ PAS la montre à des conditions climatiques extrêmes ou à
des agents ou des solvants nettoyants. Évitez de laisser tomber ou de
manipuler brutalement la montre. Évitez de trop serrer le bracelet. Nettoyez
la montre à l'aide d'un chiffon doux et sec ou d'un chiffon doux imbibé d'eau
et d'un détergent non agressif. Rangez votre montre dans un endroit sec
lorsque vous ne l'utilisez pas.

4.1 RÉINITIALISATION
Appuyez simultanément sur les boutons S2, S3 et S4 et maintenez-les
enfoncés pour réinitialiser la montre.
!!! Toutes les informations (y compris l'heure) seront perdues.
4.2 RÉTROÉCLAIRAGE
Appuyez brièvement sur le bouton S1 pour activer le rétroéclairage de
l'écran.

En mode Horloge (l'heure est affichée) :
• [S2] : les secondes clignotent.
• S3 ou S4 : pour réinitialiser les secondes
à zéro.
• S2 : pour confirmer. Les minutes
clignotent.
• S3 ou S4 : pour faire défiler les minutes
dans l'ordre croissant ou décroissant.
[S3] ou [S4] : pour faire défiler les minutes
rapidement.
• S2 : pour confirmer. L'heure clignote.
• S3 ou S4 : pour faire défiler les heures
dans l'ordre croissant ou décroissant.
[S3] ou [S4] : pour faire défiler les heures
rapidement.
• S2 : pour confirmer.
• S3 ou S4 : pour définir l'heure au format
12 ou 24 heures.
• S2 : pour confirmer. Le bip clignote.
• S3 ou S4 : pour activer (ON) ou
désactiver (OF) le bip.
• S2 : pour confirmer.
• [S2] : pour quitter le réglage.
