cordoryankonthepowersupplycordtodisconnectthe
chargerfromthereceptacle.Keepthecordfromheat,
oil,andsharpedges.
–Keepthecaseintact.
–Whencarryingthecharger,alwaysbesureofyour
footing,andkeeparmholdonthehandle.Walk;never
run.Exercisecautiontoavoidslippingorfalling.

oftheCharger

1.Checktheorientationofthefusetrayunderthepowercord
receptacletodetermineifthecurrentvoltagesettingofthe
chargerissettothesamevoltageratingoftheelectrical
outletyouwillusetopowerit(Figure1).

holescutintothebackoftheunit.Obtainappropriatescrews
forattachingthechargertothewall.Thescrewsshouldhavea
6mm(1/4inch)diametershaftwithaheaddiameterof11mm
(0.45inch).
Important:Surveyyourworkareaanddeterminealocation
thatbestmeetsthecriteriaforsafeandeffectiveoperation
ofthecharger.
Operation
Thechargerisdesignedforunattendeduse,evenforaperiodof
months,suchaswinterstorage.

WhenChargingiscomplete,oneoftwomessageswillbe
displayed.Themachineisreadyforuseineithercase.
Message“State4,STANDBY”indicatesthebatteryisfullycharged
andthechargerwentintoastandbyphaseasshowninFigure13.

thebatteryisperformingacellbalanceprocesstoensurethecells

•Cleanthecordswithaslightlydampclothaftereachuse.
•Coilthecordswhennotinuse.
•Periodicallyexaminethecordsfordamage,andreplacethem
whennecessarywithT oro-approvedparts.
ReplacingtheFuse
Ifthechargerstopsworking,checkthefuselocatedunderthe
cordreceptacle(Figure1).Ifthefuseisblown,replaceitwiththe
sameratedfusethatyouremoved.Ensurethatyouinsertthefuse
intheorientationappropriateforyourvoltage.
CleaningtheCase
Cleanthecasewithaslightlydampclothaftereachuse.
Service
Thischargerisasolidstatedeviceandshouldnotrequireservice
undernormaloperatingconditionsanduseaccordingtothese
instructions.Shoulditneedservice,bringthechargertoan
AuthorizedToroServiceDistributor.Repairbyservicecentersnot
operatedbyT oromayresultindamagetoconnectedequipment
andisnotcoveredunderthewarranty.
Storage
1.CompletetheprocedureforDisconnectingtheCharger
(page7).
2.Disconnectthepowersupplycordfromthechargerandcoil
itsecurely.
3.Examinethepowersupplycordthoroughlyforsignsofwear
ordamage.Replaceitifitiswornordamaged.
4.Examinethechargerthoroughlyforworn,loose,ordamaged
parts.Torepairorreplaceparts,contactanAuthorizedParts
Dealerforassistance.
5.Storethechargerwiththepowersupplycordinaclean,
dryplacewhereitwillnotbebumpedordamagedandnot
exposedtocausticfumes.

fortwoyearsor1500operationalhours*,whicheveroccursrst.This

Partsscheduledforreplacementasrequiredmaintenancearewarranted
fortheperiodoftimeuptothescheduledreplacementtimeforthatpart.
Partsreplacedunderthiswarrantyarecoveredforthedurationofthe
originalproductwarrantyandbecomethepropertyofT oro.Torowill
makethenaldecisionwhethertorepairanyexistingpartorassemblyor
replaceit.T oromayuseremanufacturedpartsforwarrantyrepairs.
DeepCycleandLithium-IonBatteryWarranty:
DeepcycleandLithium-Ionbatterieshaveaspeciedtotalnumberof
kilowatt-hourstheycandeliverduringtheirlifetime.Operating,recharging,
andmaintenancetechniquescanextendorreducetotalbatterylife.Asthe
batteriesinthisproductareconsumed,theamountofusefulworkbetween
chargingintervalswillslowlydecreaseuntilthebatteryiscompletelyworn
out.Replacementofwornoutbatteries,duetonormalconsumption,
istheresponsibilityoftheproductowner.Batteryreplacementmaybe
requiredduringthenormalproductwarrantyperiodatowner’sexpense.

MaintenanceisatOwner’sExpense
Enginetune-up,lubrication,cleaningandpolishing,replacementoflters,
coolant,andcompletingrecommendedmaintenancearesomeofthe
normalservicesT oroproductsrequirethatareattheowner’sexpense.
GeneralConditions
RepairbyanAuthorizedT oroDistributororDealerisyoursoleremedy
underthiswarranty.
NeitherTheToroCompanynorToroWarrantyCompanyisliablefor
indirect,incidentalorconsequentialdamagesinconnectionwiththe
useoftheToroProductscoveredbythiswarranty,includingany
costorexpenseofprovidingsubstituteequipmentorserviceduring
reasonableperiodsofmalfunctionornon-usependingcompletion
ofrepairsunderthiswarranty.ExceptfortheEmissionswarranty
referencedbelow,ifapplicable,thereisnootherexpresswarranty.
Allimpliedwarrantiesofmerchantabilityandtnessforuseare
limitedtothedurationofthisexpresswarranty.
Somestatesdonotallowexclusionsofincidentalorconsequential
damages,orlimitationsonhowlonganimpliedwarrantylasts,sothe
aboveexclusionsandlimitationsmaynotapplytoyou.Thiswarranty
givesyouspeciclegalrights,andyoumayalsohaveotherrightswhich
varyfromstatetostate.
