precautionsintheGM3400OperatorManual.Ifyouhave
anydoubtsontheinstallationprocedure,consultyourlocal
authoriseddealer.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthe
cuttingdeck,engagetheparkingbreak,ensurethatthe
tractionpedalisintheNeutralpositionandthePTO
leverintheOFFposition,stoptheengine,andremove
thekeyfromtheswitch.
Note:Ensurethereisnoresidualpressureinthe
hydrauliccircuit
2.Removethecuttingdeckfromtheliftarms.Referto
theOperator’sManual.
3.Startthemachine,raisetheliftarmsuntiltheyarein
thestoredposition,andlatchtheminplace.
4.Loosenfrontwheelnuts.
5.Usingappropriateliftingequipment,liftthefrontof
themachineandplaceon2axlestands.
Note:Ensurethattheyareappropriatelypositioned
sothatthemachineisstabletoworkaround.
6.Removebothofthefrontwheels.
Note:Usingtheappropriateliftingequipment,place
thefrontofthemachineontotwoaxlestandsand
ensurethattheyareappropriatelypositionedsothat
themachineisstabletoworkaround.
7.Removetheexistingliftarmpivotpinonbothliftarms.
8.Installthewearplateontotheoutsidefaceofthe
existingfrontliftbracketusingthecarriageboltsand
M10nut(Figure1).
Note:WaittoinstallthetopM10nutuntilthenew
armpinisinstalled.
