Discharge pipe flushing is performedefficiently using 2 flushes, reducing urine accumulation
and urolith adhesion insidethe discharge pipe.

* “e water+” is water created by electrolyzing chloride ions contained in tapwater, and
includes sanitizing components (hypochlorous acid).
The above effects cannot be obtained while the power supply is off.

maintenance is necessary, however the frequency could be lessened or
the interval could be extended.)

[Cleaning the porcelain unit]
Any commercially available household
detergents can be used, regardless of
whether they are acidic, neutral or alkaline.
However, do not use detergents containing
abrasive compounds, industrial strongly acidic
or strongly alkaline detergents, or fluorine-based
detergents*1, because they may damage or
permeate the porcelain surface.
*1 Including hydrogen fluoride and ammonium fluoride
Routine Maintenance
Maintenance keeps the toilet clean and extends its service life.
Please perform thorough and routine maintenance. Note that although
CeFiONtect parts have dirt prevention properties, routine maintenance is
still important to keep their surfaces clean.
About the cleaning tools
Do not use tools such as wire brushes, abrasive
nylon scrubbing pads or sandpaper, because
they will damage the surface.
Do not use any water repellant, stain-proofing
detergent or surface coating agent.
These products do not damage the porcelain
surface, but their components may cover the
porcelain surface and reduce the effect of the
built-in stain prevention technology.

Advice for cleaning the inside bowl surface

When cleaning the inside bowl surface, use a towel, etc.
When using the cleaning magnet
Hold the cleaning magnet near the photoelectric sensor for about 3 seconds

For heavy dirt
If the dirt is heavy, wipe off the dirt with acotton
bud soaked in appropriately diluted neutral
detergent, then wipe with a wet cloth.
Wipe off the dirtwith a cotton bud that has
been soaked in cold or lukewarm water.

Preliminary notes on replacing the battery
Battery replacement method
If the battery inside the battery box is drained, the unit will
flash in 2-second cycles.
When it switches to 4-second cycles, the flushing function
will stop.
Because the flushing function stops as soon as the photoelectricsensor
startsflashing in4-second cycles, refer tothe following instructions and
replace the batteryimmediately.
Replacing the battery(DC Dry Battery Type)
Use only alkaline batteries.
Using an oxyride dry-cell battery or the like may
cause fire or malfunctions.

Doing so may disconnect the wires or terminals,
or cause fire or electrical shock.

When the photoelectric sensor starts flashing in 2-second cycles,
replace the battery quickly with the following procedure.
1
Remove the waterproof cover from the controller.
2Lift the whole bag up, then open the drip-proof zipper.
3Replace the alkaline battery, then close the drip-proof zipper.
4Hang the bag in its original position.
5Install the waterproof cover onto the controller.
・For 10 minutes after replacing the battery, the LED
flashes during photoelectric sensor detection to enable
the detection status to be confirmed. After this, the LED
does not flash even during detection.
