4. Hold the attached blending or grinding cup firmly in one hand. With the other
hand, tighten the cup/blade assembly by turning the blade unit clockwise until
it is securely fitted into place.
5. Turn the cup and blade assembly upside down and insert the blade unit into
the motor base, fitting the tabs into the slots on the motor base.
Note: The blender will not operate unless the 3 locking tabs on the blade collar are
properly fitted into the 3 slots on the motor base.
6. To replace the blades, first detach the attached blades by turning them
counter-clockwise and pulling them away from the blending cup. Once the
first set of blades has been detached, attach the other set to the blending cup,
as detailed above.
7. The unit comes equipped with 2 stainless steel blades, as follows:
• An extraction blade/cross blade, for chopping vegetables, blending
milkshakes, mixing cake or pancake batter, grating cheeses, pureeing, etc.
• A milling blade / flat blade, for grinding and chopping coffee beans, nuts or
dried fruit, as well as whipping cream or butter.
Blending:
1. To blend or grind, turn the processing cup clockwise into the motor base and
press down on the top of the cup. The blender will operate until the cup is
turned back counter-clockwise and loosened.
WARNING! Do not operate the motor continuously for more than 60 seconds
at a time. Allow the motor to rest for 60 seconds after every use before
continuing to blend or grind.
2. When blending or grinding is completed, turn the cup counter-clockwise and
pull it upwards to remove it from the motor unit.
3. Turn the cup and blade assembly upside down. Hold the cup firmly in one
hand. With the other hand, turn the blade unit counter-clockwise to remove
the blade from the processing cup.
4. Add the included lid to the cup to store freshly blended drinks or smoothies.
To fasten a lid to a cup, gently push down on it and rotate it clockwise to
tighten it and secure it into place.
5. Unplug the blender when not in use and before cleaning.
WARNING! The maximum capacity of the blending cup is 400ml. The
maximum capacity of the freezer cup is 300ml. The maximum capacity of the
grinding cup is 170ml.
Note: For best results, solid foods should be diced into pieces no larger than
15mm×15mm. Cut or tear the food into pieces approximately equal in size before
processing.
