NOTE: Assemble the frying basket handles and
ensure they are secure correctly before use.
1. Place the oil tank into the fryer.
2. Fill the oil tank to the appropriate level. The
oil tank is clearly marked with the Minimum
(2.0L) and Maximum (2.5L) oil levels; do not
attempt to fry with less than the minimum
level as this could cause damage and
overheating to the unit. Do not over ll the
oil tank as this could cause the oil to spill
when the food is placed in the tank to cook.
3. Turn the temperature control to the ‘0’
position and plug into the mains power
supply socket and switch on the socket.
Press the On/Off switch to the ‘I’ position.
4. Turn the temperature control clockwise to
the required temperature and the red power
light and green ready light will illuminate.
This indicates that the unit is now on and
heating the oil.
5. Allow the oil to reach the required
temperature before placing any food in
the oil. This is indicated by the ready light,
which will go out when the oil has reached
the required temperature.
6. To turn the fryer off, press the On/Off switch
to the ‘0’ position, turn the temperature
control to the ‘0’ position and unplug from
the power supply.
7. Change the oil in your fryer after every 8 –
10 uses. When you do change the oil, never
pour it down the drain. Dispose of it safely
according to the guidelines of your local
council.
NOTE: Do not attempt to empty or change the
oil when the machine or oil is still hot. Allow to
cool completely before cleaning or moving
PowerandReadylight:
The red power indicator will stay on during use.
The green ready light will cycle on and off as
the thermostat cycles to maintain the correct
temperature.
TemperatureControlDial:
There is a temperature dial on the control panel.
The Temperature Control dial allows the
temperature to be set to the type of food that
you are cooking. The temperature range that can
be achieved by this controller is 150°C to 190°C
for perfect results every time.
Note: Never use the temperature control dial to
switch the appliance off. Always switch off at the
wall socket and unplug.
Fryingbasketwithfoldinghandle:
The folding handle on the frying basket allows
you to raise and lower the basket whilst the lid is
closed.
When the basket is rst lowered in to the fryer
and the lid is down, pull the switch on the handle
down. This will allow you to pull the handle down
fully and t it into place on the body of the fryer.
To move the handle up,pull the switch down
again.
OilTankCapacity:
The minimum and maximum ll levels are marked
inside the oil tank.
Do not over ll the oil tanks as this could cause
the oil to spill when the food is placed in the tank
to cook.
Minimum ll level: 2.0L
Maximum ll level: 2.5L
Viewingwindow:
Coat the inner face of the viewing window with oil
to prevent condensation forming and to enable
cooking process to be checked.
