Connecting an accessory to the extension pole:
Attach the accessory to the end of the extension pole. Ensure the accessory clicks in to place and is
firmly connected before turning on the appliance, to prevent it from falling off whilst in use.
Connecting an accessory to the handheld unit:
Attach the accessory to the slot at the front of the main body of the unit until it clicks into place.
Removing Accessories:
To remove the accessory press the release button on the accessory tool and pull away from the
extension pole or main unit.
Note: Use only on short-haired carpet. It should NOT be used on long-haired carpets as the fibres
will damage the system.
Interchangeable floor head brush bar:
Select the correct brush bar for the floor type:
• Soft brush for smooth, hard surfaces such as wood, ceramic, tiles and marble
• Hard brush for soft surfaces such as carpets and rugs
To change the brush bar:
• Slide the switch at the edge of the underside of the floor head and lift out the soft topped
retainer.
• Lift out the brush bar and replace with the required brush bar (keep the round edge to the
bottom and flatter tabbed edge uppermost). Push down firmly.
• Place the tab of the retainer into the slot on the brush head and press down until the retainer
locks back in to place.

Troubleshooting
Problem Possible Solution
The vacuum will not
work Ensure the vacuum cleaner is fully charged.
Check that there are no blockages to the dust tank or filter and remove
as necessary.
This appliance is equipped with a motor protective thermo¬stat. If for
some reason it overheats, the thermostat will automatically turn the
suction motor off. Should this occur, allow it to cool for 1 hour, then
empty the dust container and clean all of the filters.
Vacuum will not
pick-up or suction
power is weak
The dust container may be full, or the filter may require cleaning. Empty
the dust container and clean the filter.
There may be blockages in the filter or dust tank. Check for blockages
and clean the filter and dust tank.
Dust is escaping from
the vacuum The filter may installed incorrectly, or the dust container may be full.
Empty the dust container and reassemble the filter system.
There is a strange
noise coming from
the vacuum.
The airflow may be restricted or blocked. Check for blockages and clean
the filter and pole.
