Use and Responsibility
∙ This product is intended for climbing and mountaineering use only.
∙ Climbing and mountaineering are inherently dangerous activities that can result in serious injury or death.
∙ Do not use product unless you fully understand these instructions and warnings and accept all of the
actual and potential risks involved.
∙ Proper training is required and essential before using this product.
∙ The harness must be only connected to the system through the attachment points intended for this use:
single attachment point or double attachment point.
∙
For connecting the rope to the harness use a figure 8 knot or two screw gate connectors having opposed gate.
∙ When anchoring, belaying, abseiling, each devices must be connected with attachment point directly
or connected by being used with locking type carabiner.
∙ Inspect product damaged before and after each use.
∙
Trango strongly encourages all users to obtain qualified and competent instruction before using this product.
∙ Do not load the product up to or beyond its rated strength or it will fail.
∙
Weighting the product over a sharp edge will significantly reduce its strength and possibly result in product failure.
∙ Check the buckles, locking condition of carabiner, and all of setting condition before and during use.
∙ While in use, regularly check that the adjustment buckles are closed well.
∙
Wet and icy conditions will reduce the product’s strength and cause the product to be more difficult to handle.
∙
Be sure to fully understand the limitations of the product and practice and master the proper techniques for
using the product in a safe environment before using them with a partner and before climbing or mountaineering.
∙ Must be have a rescue plan and the means to rapidly implement it in case of difficulties encountered
while using this product.
∙
The illustrations show many of the possible incorrect methods of use, but they are not exhaustive.
∙
Products in need of cleaning should be hand washed in lukewarm water with no detergents or other chemicals.
∙ Allow product to air-dry in an open area, avoiding direct sunlight.
∙ High temperature over 80℃can shorten the lifetime.
∙
Do not modify or repair this product. Modifying or repairing this product can result in serious injury or death.
∙ The performances of a device may decrease due to ageing or to a improper storage.
∙ To avoid risks as explained above, the product must be carried in case.
Storage, Care and transport
∙ Always store the product in a dry place away from the elements.
∙ When harness is stored in damp air, buckle will be corroded and the harness damaged.
∙
Always avoid exposure to ultraviolet rays (UV), heat, sharp objects, animals, toxic agents (which include
but are not limited to: chemicals, acids, solvents, gasoline, batteries, antifreeze, caustic materials, and
similar materials), and any other conditions, materials and/or agents that could damage the product.
Compatibility with other Equipment

It is your responsibility to make sure that you use this product properly and with other compatible products.
∙ Choose CE certified climbing and mountaineering equipment for use with this product and use all such
equipment and this product as described in the accompanying instructions.
Limited Warranty
∙
Product is covered by a 2 year limited warranty to the original retail purchaser from the date of purchase.
∙ This limited warranty only covers defects in materials and manufacturing.
∙ Damage that is due to normal use and wear, incorrect storage, poor maintenance, abuse, accidents,
negligence, or incorrect or improper usage is not covered by this limited warranty.
∙ Products that have been modified or otherwise altered are excluded from this limited warranty.
∙ Except as otherwise specified above, trango makes no warranty of any kind, expressed or implied,
including without limitation any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, or any
warranty as to the design condition or quality of materials and workmanship to the purchaser of the
goods purchased hereby or any other person whatever.

Inspection and Lifespan
∙ Before and after each use, always inspect the product to ensure it is in proper working condition.
∙ Look for any changes in the appearance of the product, including but not limited to :
dents, evidence of significant wear, sharp edges or burrs, damage from heat or contact with toxic
agents, evidence of burns, melting, or any discoloration, and any other indications of damage or wear.
∙ Retire all products that show any signs of damage or wear.
∙ Note that damage from toxic agents may not be visible.
∙ Retire all products that you know or suspect have been in contact with any such toxic agents.
∙
Trango recommends a complete and thorough inspection of this product and all of the user’s climbing and
mountaineering equipment by a qualified and competent individual at least once every six months.
In addition to inspection before each and every use.
∙ However, the product should be retired immediately after a single extreme event, such as a serious
fall or load, and/or exposure to toxic agents, harsh and/or extreme environments, and/or any of the
conditions described above.
∙ If you have any questions as to the condition or reliability of your gear, retire it.
∙ Destroy retired and damaged gear to prevent further use.
∙ After first use this product may have a life of 10 years in normal use without taking wear into account
but, it depends on the intensity and environment of usage. However wear or damage could occur on
the first use which limits its life to that use.
