2. Installation
1. Connect your computer to the TEW-815DAP's LAN port.
2. Connect the power a apter to the access point an then to a power outlet. For EUNL versions,
toggle the power switch to the on position.
3. Assign a Static IP a ress to your computer's network a apter in the subnet of 192.168.10.x (e.g.
192.168.10.25) an a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. Please refer to the Appen ix in the User's
Gui e for more information.
4. Open your web browser an enter “http://tew-815 ap”.

5. Select the esire language.
6. Enter the efault user name an passwor . You can fin the efault username (a min) an
passwor (a min) on the I abels on the si e an bottom of the access point.

passwor .
10. Enter the passwor again. Then click Next.
11. Select Access Point Mo e an then click Next.

13. Install the access point in the esire location.
Note:
• Open a web browser an enter a web a ress (for example, www.tren net.com) to verify that you
have internet connection.
• For a e security we have pre-encrypte each TEW-815DAP with a unique Wi-Fi Name (SSID)
an Wi-Fi Key. You can fin these pre-configure settings on the labels on the bottom an si e of the
TEW-815DAP You will use this information to connect wirelessly to the access point. To change the
Wi-Fi Key, refer to the pro uct manual. If the access point is reset, the Wi-Fi Key, Wi-Fi Name an
Management Login setting will also reset to factory efaults.
