Testing Requirements/Information
•Take two tags out of standby mode by pressing and holding the button for three seconds. You
will hear it chirp on and see green flashing lights.
•All tags are to be worn in the same general location by every worker with the QR code facing
out. We recommend the middle chest area.
•All tags should be worn flat against the users body. No tag should be hung from a lanyard or put
into a pocket.
•Plug in and turn on supplied gateway, keep within range of testing tags (line of site to tags)
•Please note that the body can significantly affect the range of the tag. Workers behind or to
the sides of someone may not be picked up as easily as the face to face interaction.

Correct Testing Procedure
Charging Procedure
•Battery life on the tags is 5-8 weeks depending on usage.
•You can charge up to 5 tags in one charging dock. You do not need to fill the dock and can do as
many as you have available to charge.
•Put the tag in the charger and you will see the tag blinking green.
•Once the tag is fully charged it will have a solid green light. Usually about 4-5 hours for a full
charge.
•There is a Tag Battery Report on the dashboard, and we can set up notifications to notify you
when the tags get to 13%.
Hardware: Recommended Sanitizing Procedure
The following guidelines are recommended for cleaning & sanitizing the Tags / Clips:
•Using a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipe (or Clorox Disinfecting Wipe), the exterior surfaces of
the tag can be gently wiped down. Do not use bleach.
•Lysol and similar spray disinfectants may be used, but they should first be applied to a cloth or
towel, which can then be wiped on tag surfaces and allowed to air dry.
•Do not submerge the tag into any cleaning agents or other liquids.
•Avoid getting moisture in the opening on the side of the tag.
•Do not attempt to clean the tag while it is charging.
•Do not use compressed air.

4. After about two minutes the pod should connect. A blue light blinking every 10-30 seconds and
a green light blinking once every 10 seconds will be present.
After connection is confirmed reach out to your CES to make sure we have a good cell signal.
