Installation
Note: The driver must be installed before connecting your computers to the device.
1. Insert the CD into the rst computer’s disc drive. Driver installation should begin
automatically. If the installation does not begin automatically, navigate to and double-click on
the Setup.exe le located on the CD.
2. Follow the prompts that are displayed throughout the installation process, ending with the
prompt to nish the installation. After the installation is nished, you may be prompted to
restart your computer. If this prompt comes up, click Yes.
3. Repeat these steps on the second computer to be connected to the device.
4. Connect the included power supply to the device and plug it into an appropriate power source.
To help protect your system from sudden, transient increases and decreases in electrical
power, it is recommended that you plug your devices into a Tripp Lite Surge Suppressor, Line
Conditioner or Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).
5. Connect each computer to the device using the included USB cables. The Share Switch icon
should now appear in the lower-right corner of your computer screen.
6. Right-click this icon and select Open.
7. You can now connect up to 4 USB devices to the USB ports on the back of the device.

Operation
File Transfer
To use the le transfer function, simply press the le transfer push-button on the unit. After
pressing the button, the RED LED above the button will illuminate, and the le transfer screen
will appear, splitting the screen into Remote Host and Local Host. It may take a minute or so for
the le transfer screen to appear. If the le transfer screen does not automatically appear, go to
the My Computer section of both computers and double-click the EasySuite icon. Once the le
transfer screen is displayed, simply drag-and-drop or copy-and-paste les from one computer to
another. Note: While the file transfer function is being used, you will not be able to transfer usage
of a device.

Instalación
Nota: El controlador se debe instalar antes de conectar sus computadoras al dispositivo.
1. Inserte el CD en la unidad lectora de la primera computadora. La instalación del controlador
debería comenzar automáticamente. Si la instalación no comienza automáticamente, navegue

Operación
Transferencia de archive
Para utilizar la función transferencia de archivo, sencillamente presione el botón interruptor
transferencia de archivo en la unidad. Después de presionar el botón, se iluminará el LED
ROJO y aparecerá la pantalla transferencia de archivo, dividiendo la pantalla en Host Remoto y
Host Local. La pantalla de transferencia de archivo puede tardar un minuto, aproximadamente,
en aparecer. Si la pantalla de transferencia de archivo no aparece automáticamente, vaya a la
sección Mi Computadora en ambas computadoras y haga doble clic en el icono EasySuite. Una
vez que aparece la pantalla de transferencia de archivo, sencillamente arrastre y copie o copie y
pegue archivos de una computadora a la otra. Nota: Mientras utiliza la función transferencia de
archivos no podrá transferir el uso de un dispositivo.

Installation
Remarque : Le pilote doit être installé avant de brancher votre ordinateur à l’appareil.
1. Insérer le CD dans le lecteur de disque du premier ordinateur. L’installation du lecteur devrait
commencer automatiquement. Si l’installation ne commence pas automatiquement, naviguer
puis double-cliquer sur le chier Setup.exe situé sur le CD.
2. Suivre les invites de commande qui s’afcheront pendant le processus d’installation en
terminant par l’invite mettant n à l’installation. Une fois l’installation terminée, vous serez
peut-être invité(e) à redémarrer votre ordinateur. Si l’invite en question apparaît, cliquer Yes
(Oui).
3. Répéter ces étapes sur le deuxième ordinateur an d’être connecté à l’appareil.
4. Connecter le bloc d’alimentation inclus à l’appareil et le brancher sur une prise de courant
appropriée. An de protéger votre système contre les variations soudaines de courant
électrique, il est recommandé de brancher vos appareils dans un limiteur de surtension, un
ltre de secteur ou une alimentation sans coupure Tripp Lite. (ASC).
5. Connecter chaque ordinateur à l’appareil en utilisant les câbles USB inclus. L’icône de
l’interrupteur de partage devrait maintenant apparaître dans le coin inférieur droit de votre
écran.
6. Cliquer à droite sur cette icône et sélectionnez Open (Ouvrir).
7. Vous pouvez maintenant connecter jusqu’à 4 périphériques USB aux ports USB à l’arrière de
l’appareil.
