battery, please remove and replace the
battery from the unit.

Isolate mains circuit prior to fitting
Only allow a competent person to install this
product
The product should be regularly tested to
ensure correct operation.
It is recommend to test the unit every
6-12 months

It is recommended that the battery and
gap pad are replaced every 5 years for the
product to maintain specification.

POWER INDICATOR - Constant blue,
signals external power source. Flashing
red, signals loss of power and the using is
running off the backup battery. No light
signals the unit is inactive.
TEST BUTTON - Tests the alarm function.
AUDIO MUTE BUTTON - The mute button,
once activated during the event of an
alarm, will mute the audio alarm only. The
mute button does not affect the alarm
indicator or remote output.
ALARM INDICATOR - Inactive when the
alarm is not triggered. Once the alarm is
triggered the indicator will flash red.

AUDIO BUZZER - 105dB audio alarm
FRONT PANEL CABLE CONNECTOR - Connect
the front panel to the alarm unit via the
ribbon cable to enable correct operation.
BACKUP ALARM BATTERY - Allowing the
alarm to operate for at least 50h in the
event of a power outage.
M16 BLANKING PLUG - Replace this with the
supplied optional gland for use with the
remote output wiring.
INCOMING MAINS FUSES - 250mA
fuses are fitted on both the MAINS
to 5Vdc and MAINS to 12Vdc circuits.

17 CABLE GLANDS - Two are
fitted as standard with an
optional one supplied.
AUDIO BUZZER CONNECTOR - Ensure the buzzer
connector is fitted correctly for the audio alarm
to operate. BATTERY ISOLATOR CONNECTOR - Fit the battery isolator
connector as shown. The unit may switch on.
NOTE: To test the
battery operation
once the unit is
installed. 1st switch
the unit power on,
the power indicator
will turn blue.
Switch the power
off and the power
indicator will
alternate from red
to off.

ALARM OUTPUT & ALARM 12V JUMPER OPTION - The alarm output can be configured to either a volt free
output or a 12Vdc 500mA output
For volt free operation do not
fit the jumper.
The relay specification is 10A
@250Vac.
