1 INTRODUCTION
1 Introduction
Tuya Sandwich DC-DC Power Board is part of Tuya Sandwich Evaluation Kit. It is used
to power the remaining parts of Tuya Sandwich Evaluation Kit. Tuya Sandwich DC-
DC Power Battery Board has two input interfaces, DC-12V and DC-5V. When DC-12V
input, two SY8012B chips work at the same time to provide DC-12V, DC-5V, DC-
3.3V for other evaluation kit components. When DC-5V input, one SY8012B works,
providing DC-5V, DC-3.3V for other evaluation kit components.

2 Hardware Introduction
Tuya Sandwich DC-DC Power Board supply board adopts the standard Arduino form
factor. Users can stack the corresponding evaluation kits directly on top for power
supply, which is very convenient to use.
1. Flexible input: DC-005 DC 12V input and Micro USB DC 5V input;
2. Input over-voltage protection: 12V and 5V input terminals, respectively; 12V
TVS tube and 5V TVS tube;
3. Anti-reverse circuit: The 12V input has an anti-reverse circuit composed of a
fuse and TVS tube;
4. Anti-current backflow: SS14 prevents current backflow when 5V power is sup-
plied;
5. BUCK circuit: silicon silicon SY8012B chip is used, with 5V1A, 3.3V1A power
supply capability, high efficiency, SOT23-6 package;
6. Indicator: 12V, 5V, 3.3V power output has corresponding indicators.

4 PRECAUTIONS
4 Precautions
1. Attention when Micro USB 5V is powered, the seat is easy to be damaged when
the force is too large;
2. Pay attention to the application scenario. The rated output current of the power
supply is 5V and 3.3V is 1A. When the load is too large, the output voltage will
be lowered.
3. Pay attention to the polarity of the input voltage when powering the 5V input
external wiring to prevent damage to the power supply board when reverse
connected.
