startingtheinstallation.Makesurethebikeis
secureonacenterstandorideallyaservicelift.
2. Removesidecoversandseat.
3. Removerearpassengerseat.
4. RemoveOEMrearfender.Youwillreusethe
fenderbolts.
5. Removerearexhaustcover.
6. Removeexhaustvalvecablesfromservounder
seat.Useawrenchtoholdserverwheelinplace
orinternalgearsmaybreak.
*Keepservoplugged
intoharnessbutcables
willnotbeused.
7. RemoveOEMmuferassembly.
8. RemoveOEMsoundbox.
9. AttachTBRmufertoslip-ontubeusing2piece
X-Ringandthe46x14mmS.H.C.S.andlock
washersprovided.Leaveloosefornow.
10. Removebothrearsetmountingboltsandreplac e
withsupplied8x40mmsocketheadcapscrew.
11. At tachthesuppliedmountingbrackettotheinside
offrameandsecureinplacewiththesupplied
8mmangenuts.Bracketshouldbeinstalledas
showninpicture.

12. Ins tallrubberlinedmuf erclampovercanis ter.

place.
14. Checkalignmentandtightenmuferandthe
46x14mmV.A.L.E.™socketheadcapscrews.
15. TightenOEMjointclamp.
16. InstallTBRfendereliminatorkitusingtheoriginal
boltsandsuppliednuts,thenutswillbeinside
thebikeunderseat.
17. At tachturnsignalsandplatelightboltsusingthe
wirespliceconnectorssuppliedtothecorrect
wiresintheharnessasshownintheWiring
Diagram.
18. Re-installseatsandcovers.

21. Beforeyourunthebike,cleanoffallngerprints
anddir t,asanyoilyresiduew illetc hthemetaland
becomesomew hatp ermanentwhenthesystem
getshot.Also,removeanyplasticlmfromthe
namebadge(s)andorcanisterclamp(s).Runthe
bikeandenjoy.Itisnormalforsomewhitesmoke
toappearthersttimeyoustartthebike.Thisis
packing/manufacturingoilfrominsidethepipe
burningoff.Checkforgapsorleaks.Ifyound
aleak,alittlehightemperaturesiliconsealant
shouldxit.After50to100miles,recheckall
fastenersfortightness.
