slippery surfaces and broken ground can cause

•This protector can be a trip hazard to pedestrian
traffic if they are unaware of its presence.
•Keep the 5 Channel Cable Protector clean and
bright.
•Keep various services, communications, fluids and
power separated. Limit a channel to one service type.
•Polyurethane is attacked by some chemicals. Always
test a small amount for chemical compatibility
before using and follow maintenance procedure.
•Vehicular traffic must pass over the protector slowly
and with caution.
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR TEMPORARY USE
NOTE: Due to variables associated with
mounting, it is highly recommend you test the
hardware for each application
•Four through-holes with an inside diameter of .21" can
be used with either nails or screws (not included) for
temporary mounting of cable protector.
•Washer with a minimum outside diameter of .75"
should be used with each nail or screw.
•Through-holes have a threaded insert, but the
threaded insert is not designed for use with a bolt.
•When temporarily mounting on a sloped surface, the
hinge barrel must be on the uphill side of the slope.
•When temporarily mounting on a flat surface, the
hinge barrel must be facing the direction of traffic.
•To easily remove the protector when nailed down, use
a pry bar in the pry slots under each through-hole.
MAINTENANCE
•Store in a clean dry area.
•Inspect protector for damage and replace it if
damaged.
•Remove any foreign materials, solids and liquids.
•Keep clean by using a detergent and water solution.
