Needed: Ultraprobe 10,000 and CF card;
Stethoscope Module; Rubber Focusing Probe;
Headphones
1Extension Rods for Stethoscope Module when
needed for Hard To Reach areas.

Move Cursor to Function Bar by Pushing
Sens.Knob 2X and Press Enter for Setup Menu
3If Using a Route, move Route to Flash Card, then
load to Ultraprobe by using Data Transer. Refer to
Instructions "Loading Route."

Be sure Instrument Setup is in Automatic, if
Baselining Manual. Load Group (Route) to
Ultraprobe.
5If you are PERFORMING the BASELINE Readings,
proceed to NEXT INSTRUCTION, if not READ the
Picture Below.

Rotate for Application Select, Push Sens.Knob.
Rotate to Valve, push Sens.Knob (Enable Valve).
Press Enter to Exit.
7A clean memory is a must to keep files organized.
It is Normal to Delete Records when changing
apps.

Rotate Sens. Knob back to Display Screens, Push
Sens. Knob, Rotate to ABCD, Push Sens.Knob to
Select/Exit.

Rotate to Stethoscope (STM); Push Sens to
Select/Exit

Rotate to Instrument Setup, Push Sens.Knob.
Rotate for "Manual", Push Sens.Knob to Select/Exit
11 Rotate to Enter Inspector ID [under "More" in Setup
Menu], push Sens.Knob. Enter 3 Alpha-Numeric
Characters use Sens.Knob.

Press Enter 2X to Save/Exit and return to Valve
ABCD Display.
13 IF Route has been baselined and established refer
to NOTE. Note does not hold true for
troubleshooting WITHOUT having a route loaded.

Push Sens.Knob 1X to move cursor to Frequency.
Rotate to 25 kHz.
15 Push Sens. 1X more [if cursor at S= push 2X]
moving Cursor to Function Bar. Rotate Sens until
Store "A" in prep for readings.

Push Sens.Knob 1X more to return cursor to S=
(Operational Home Spot for Adjusting Sensitivity).
17 Note Approximate Test Points for the ABCD,
sometime E Method of testing Valves.

NOTE: Choose Test Point A for the Valve
19 Store Record: Adjust Sens. for dB reading of
Position A,Once Stored, A dB appears in position
'A' and advances to 'B.' Repeat for position B,C,D.

Once" Finished Store D", Unit Advances to 'Store
Record' to Permanently Store the Entire Record of
A,B,C,D points. Push 'Enter' to Store.

to Advance to next Valve/Record of A,B,C,D points.
